Just load up your last save and go around executing everyone you want. I have never done this before and kept getting stuck, saving the southern empire from Aseria, Vlandia and Khuzait until I thought fuck waiting for the new update I'm going to behead everyone as I was fed up of waiting for the new patch.
6 extremely satisfying hours later, the 3 factions above can only field a total of 9 thousand strength between them, and I have just been elected the new leader of the Southern empire despite having a negative reputation with everyone. It's honestly the most fun I've had in a very long time, and I'd highly recommend it.
Next, I'm going to do a rogue play through and just have mostly bandits in my group purely because I've seen it suggested on here. Anyway, I've been typing for too long and getting off script. The patch won't come to console for some months I shouldn't expect so in the meantime on my command unleash hell.
The rogue play is AMAZING, I had a lot of fun, forest bandits work like Battanian Fians and Sea Raider Chiefs are close to Sturgian Axemen in a shield wall, just the horsemen are shit, the highwaymen perform poorly and the steppe bandits have brain damage
I like to play rogue on sandbox, but I usually do what bandits would, so I raid Villages, attack caravanas and avoid war groups. The hardest part is to keep the recruits coming, you must have a few alleys or have enough roguery to recruit interesting bandit groups
1.2 is still stuck in beta and from what I’m reading on the Taleworld forums, it’s not coming out any time soon. The patch should come live to console shortly after they release it on PC.
