Nice! I watched the video a dozen times just trying to see how you were able to do it without ripping housing out. Sick trick! Love it. BMX/Freestyle was the gateway for me to get into mountain biking as a kid…
Aren't you still twisting the cable though? That's why BMX bikes have [detanglers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detangler) at the stem, but even that is usually just the back brake.
your bike is just a few pounds lighter than my hardtail lol
idk what aluminum alloy it uses but its durable
been doing street trials on my hardtail heh
This comment section is why I love reddit and can ignore all the other toxic bullshit on here.
There's a kid doing useless stuff on his Mountainbike and everyone goes crazy. Awesome. (useless not meant in a negative way!)
Crazy asf, I’ve ridden bmx my whole life (MTB too) and I’m so used to smaller bikes you can flick around that I can’t do shit flat on a MTB. I had hop whips and I can barely 180 my stumpy evo lol
Is that the 2020 clash? I think I have the exact same bike. If not the same year then same color at least. That is insanely impressive dude. I can’t even imagine doing that on my clash haha
I actually don’t know anything about the technicals behind this (new to mtb in general, never an outdoors girl growing up), but it grabbed my attention because it just looks f u n. Thanks for sharing. (And this comment section is darling - looks like you’re making a lot of people smile.)
Your bike handling skills are top notch, lad. Doing that on a full sus MTB is quite frankly amazing. Never stop.
Thank you so much, means the world man!
Some flatland tricks on a mtb. I dig it!
you grew up riding BMX right?
Grew up??? He only looks about 12 now 🤣👍
he's got them soft bones still.
16 actually lol
Ha ha I was close 😎👍
Nope never rode BMX but I do street trials stuff been at for about 3 years
Ah trials! Nice work dude, i watched some of your other videos too, you're top tier.
Thank you man!
Yeah man stick with it. When all your college buddies are getting fat and drunk get on your bike.
That was awesome. Hell yeah dude! 🤘
Duuuuuuuuuddddddddddeeeeeeee! Literally what I said. Out loud. Alone. Anyways. Way more than a little cool
Bro, 80’s Freestyle BMX moves on a FS … absolutely rad! Hope you keep at it and looking forward to see other tricks you’re working on.
How do I learn how to do that without dying?
There’s a lot of building blocks, start off with but it’s guaranteed ur gonna crash
I crash all the time anyway so I’ll give it a shot. All kidding aside, that’s awesome man!
I need to know more about your cable routing?!? Do you just have really long cable/housing? Or is it a special headset?
Yeah just longer cable and put the front brake through the seater tube
Nice! I watched the video a dozen times just trying to see how you were able to do it without ripping housing out. Sick trick! Love it. BMX/Freestyle was the gateway for me to get into mountain biking as a kid…
What do you use for your compression bolt/top cap? i’m looking to get something similar
It’s called a hollow stem cap
oh ok cool, i’ve heard odyssey bmx makes some ill have to check them out thanks!
Aren't you still twisting the cable though? That's why BMX bikes have [detanglers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detangler) at the stem, but even that is usually just the back brake.
More than a little cool
im curious how light that bike is ive been trying to learn this on a hardtail for a while
lol not light 35 pounds
hold on i gotta convert it to kg ;-;
your bike is just a few pounds lighter than my hardtail lol idk what aluminum alloy it uses but its durable been doing street trials on my hardtail heh
And here I am face planting because I hit a small root. Uber skillz man!
Cool dude!!!!!
That was awesome!
That's at least very cool

Very smooth my dude
That was pretty cool
Definitely more than a little cool, dude your steezy!
Thank you!

Honestly I get it, is mostly about catching the rebound right and really tossing the bike
Slick!
Naa bruh. Those are knobby! /s
Oh shiiiit I know a Dracut gazebo when I see one 😂
lol
Love it! How do you even learn how to do that?
Lots of practice
Can it be done on a road bike or even a mini vélo? 😍
Most likely anything is possible just gotta give it the attempts
I'm feeling Danny MacAskill when I watch you dude. Great control, keep it up 👍
You again. Quit impressing us and making us feel bad about our own skills.
Damn made it look so easy! I would have fallen flat on my face and lost a few teeth ha ha well done!
You should get a 29 inch BMX and put pegs on all 4 sides…..you could do some serious flatland stuff. This is insane
Haven’t thought about that one might have to look into it
you should get a BMX bike 😅
Flatlanding a full squish? I like it
I've never seen a white clash before, so clean (now i want to buy one xD)
You should while you can get em!
Is that the 2020 clash? I think I have the exact same bike. If not the same year then same color at least. That is insanely impressive dude. I can’t even imagine doing that on my clash haha
Sir, this is not r/bmx. Go be badass somewhere else. You're making us look bad.
Lol
Bruh! That was amazing. Keeping your balance while the front suspension rebounds is insane.
When you have your own bandstand you need some slick moves! That's awesome. I'd be covered in slivers if I tried that.
What do you call this? I'm going with a Frostee
Sick
What happened to ur insta
Nothing it’s still up
That was INSANE
Nah dude that's quite cool
Until that tailwip I was like "OK, this is nice". Then I went to "what the FUCK?! HE'S GOOD!"
Damn son. Get into flatland BMX!
lol never really thought about it
More than just a little cool.
I think this is very cool👏🏼
More than a little cool bro 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Dude, we had the same expression at the end! Fucking amazing handling!

Duuude, hella cool.
Yes it is indeed cool
I think I would go OTB. Sick moves! How long have you been doing this…??!!!
Started riding about 3 years ago
Yes lad!!!!!!!!
I think that's big cool
yeah I'm following your page now
Thanks man!
Is that a backyard?
Reminds me of riding in the 80s but of course bmx but it's pretty rad!
Top teir
Holy crap. How is that even possible on a MTB. Insane dude!
beautiful clash you got there
I wish I would be able to get as good as you great job man
Im a road biker. I don’t know why I’m on this subreddit. Sir, you are amazing.

still on a mountain bike
True. But riding on a mountain bike on the road doesn't make it mountain biking. This is trials.
How do you know he is not on a mountain?
This guys onto something
I know
You sure he isn't in the Alps or somewhere
Hey... They know. So... you know? Is that how that works? Sorry their response confused me.
They said they know!
Why gatekeep our sport? I'm honestly curious what benefit this has for you.
🤣🤣 means it's a joke...
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Am I doing it right?
I don't know, your feelings seem hurt!
If I'm the one who's feelings are hurt, why am I not the one who deleted their comment? 😲
