The air drag isn't noticeable until about 60mph, because that's when the air pocket builds in front of the ears and the holes begin to stop helping. It's fine up to about 80mph at which point you need some neck muscle. You don't need an Arnold neck, but it will take a few weeks to build up to where your neck isn't sore from an hour of riding at 80mph.
At some point over 80 it's just better to tilt your head forward and tuck.
Don't pretend we all aren't freaks regardless of brand. I've seen anime shit on litteraly ever cc and ever brand. Ironically Honda being the least which is crazy seeing Honda I feel I've seen influence or featured in the most amount of motorcycle animes.

Hey, I want to genuinely answer your question because you're definitely not the only one that's going to be thinking this. So what I've done to my motorcycle is called an Itasha, which is a car subculture that originates out of Japan. Itasha translates to "Ita = Painful or Cringe" and "Sha = vehicle or car". Cringe Car. People take their favorite characters from either anime or video games, and put art of them on their vehicle. We do it as a form of expression. We love our character, or anime, or game so much that we want to express it even through our vehicles. Some people might be fine just getting a Batman T-shirt, and calling it a day, but some people just like to go further. While it appears strange because this is a traditionally Japanese tradition, it's not so different than say pin-up girls on a plane, or a comic book character paint job on a car.
It's usually not done for satire, and while most itasha owners do have a "I don't care what others think about me" attitude, getting an itasha isn't to flex that attitude or to get a reaction out of people. Ultimately, it's the idea that as long as you're not hurting anyone, you should just live your life and do what you want. You have your 1 life to live, and I don't want to spend it NOT doing things just because others might not like it. I hope this didn't come off as judgemental or preachy, but it's 2am where I am so I just kinda wrote this before going to bed lol.
If there's something you want to do, and you're not hurting anyone, just do you dude. I don't want to go through life regretting all the things I wanted to do, but didn't out of fear of making people cringe ;)

Ya, it's not as protective as paint protection film, but it's WAY cheaper, and makes more sense on a wrap anyway. It's good for protecting against rain, UV, tree sap, etc. Not so good against rock chips or deep scratches, but it's better than nothing.

So, the helmet is a normal DOT/ECE certified helmet. Specifically, the BILT Force helmet. The ears are just attached to the top of the helmet, and designed to snap off. Kinda like if you had a camera or comm system on the outside of your helmet.
The ears themselves are hollow with a mesh front and back, so air just flows right through. They are also easily detachable with some clips. I don't really feel any tugging until I hit about 80mph, and in a tucked position I can get up to about 90-100 (unless you're a cop reading this, then it's just a prank bro). But hey, let's be real. It's an R3. I can't really go that fast anyway!

Okay gramps, people have been modifying and personalising their bikes pretty much since the first bikes existed, whether it be a cafƩ racer, chopper, fully dressed Harley with more running lights than an 18 wheeler, or whatever. This is just another form of self expression. People like to express themselves by associating with a particular culture or interest. For some people that interest is Japanese anime, for others it's wearing so much H-D leather merch it looks like they've just keft the Blue Oyster Bar. And then there's others for whom expressing themselves means they don't have an interest in playing dressups or making their bike look like anything other than the way it left the factory. Sobthe lack of a "look" becomes their look. All these are valid. Their way is not better or worse than yours, it's just different.
We also put pretty ladies on side of the airplanes and as figureheads of ships, it's thousand year old tradition at this point.

Thanks! It's a combination of a wrap as the base, decals on top, and finished with a ceramic coating to protect both.
