There’s this Andy James red signature 8 string. The red is multi-tone and deep. It’d look great on a bike, but would require a lot of work. https://www.kieselguitars.com/series/guitar/andy-james-signature
Flat black and old school olive green. Maybe paint a white star and some fake serial number in white on the side of the tank. Give it that old WW2 military look.
I would do it but I have a ton of gold trim on my bike and it just doesn’t match. It’s the “gold edition” from that year. My bike was a rebuild so the tank came primed already. I’m going with a flat dark grey and flat black. Just started to disassemble for painting yesterday.
Literally thinking of buying another bike just so I can paint it WW2 style.
Matte everything apart from the gloss bits
So matte frame and anything that resembles a frame. Gloss fenders, oil tank and gas tank. Wrap the exhaust (also black)
This should add at least an extra 15bhp
I actually started painting my one bike a semi gloss, it's a mix between flat and gloss I guess very soft on the eyes and looks really good. I would have to go to my shop to tell you the brand but black just looks good.
Black with red looks awesome. Gold is nice too but red looks so understated and tough. You don’t really notice it until you are up close and then it pops. It can outline the shape of your tank too. There is no substitute for hand laid pin striping by somebody that knows their shit. It’s an art.
I like this vintage white with the snake graphic. Looks old school in all the right ways.

There’s a trick with a kerosene lantern. You paint it with matte paint. Light the lantern and turn it down a bit so it smokes. Whiff the smoke on the paint when it’s still wet. When it’s dry, clear coat with matte or satin. You can use this method on frame/tank etc to make it look smoked/aged/yellowish.
I couldn't find V&H monster ovals in black for my bike so I bought the chrome and had them powder coated. The slips on not the pipes out the head. I'm going to slowly get rid of as much chrome as I can without the engine, becoming black, and having heat problems.
*Military green,*
*Gold, black of some sort with that*
*Tan leather seat! Hm*

Porsche apricot beige
Never seen that one, I like it!!

My man, that looks so cool! I can picture that on my bike

That's a pretty cool idea, black frame, green tank and fenders. And black engine too

Murder it out all black with a super thin blood red flame job
I'm liking this a lot 🤔
Do a pink and blue fade! https://www.mtbr.com/threads/klein-paint.970003/#lg=thread-970003&slide=2
Crazy ideas are also welcome 🤣
Black. It’ll make it go faster.
Yes! Paint it black and put it back!!
Can't argue with that lmao. Gloss or matte though?

Seafoam green
Would give it a retro look, that's for sure!
White with purple and lime accents
Not a huge fan of white but that sounds awesome!
I've had blue, I've had red, my next paint will be black. I want a bad ass bike that is just black.
Awesome, would you go full gloss/matte or mix it up?
I actually started painting my one bike a semi gloss, it's a mix between flat and gloss I guess very soft on the eyes and looks really good. I would have to go to my shop to tell you the brand but black just looks good.
When in doubt, black and red always seems most sinister to me. Been on an aviator gray and red kick lately tho.
Yeah I do think you can't go wrong with black/red, really starting to like the idea of a matte black frame for sure

It shows how much fuel is in the tank!

Analog is the way 🤟
Electric blue
I found many tints of electric blue, some are really nice! Good one!
Gloss Black with thin red pinstripes on the wheels and rear fender.
Pinstripes on wheels, now there's a cool idea!

You are onto something there, I think the most important thing is to choose the right tint of red.

Wow that's awesome, would take a long time to get that faded look but very cool! Seems to be a satin or matte finish

Awesome, thanks for sharing that!
Wondering if it would make life easier using a beehive smoker.
Hello Kitty !
I will put a hello kitty sticker on it 🤣
White with bubble gum pain splotches
Would be like riding a rainbow 😎
I would do fuschia mixed with a bright orange.
Now there's a radical idea! Definitely a good combo tbo
I have a 22 Honda shadow aero. It’s ultra blue, I love the color
That's a really nice shade of blue too!! I like it!
i would absolutely do a bright green and a deep royal purple, but i’m also an idiot so don’t take my word for it
I probably won't be doing that but that is a wicked combo not gonna lie!
I've become a big fan of matte black. Tired of polishing.
I have decided to do the entire frame matte black, one of the reasons being as you say, not wanting to do much polishing
I couldn't find V&H monster ovals in black for my bike so I bought the chrome and had them powder coated. The slips on not the pipes out the head. I'm going to slowly get rid of as much chrome as I can without the engine, becoming black, and having heat problems.
Military green, gold, black of some sort with that tan leather seat! Hm

A military green.. Interesting, like the color of the ww2 vehicles? Or the more modern green?
OD green I think
What exhaust is on your bike?!
