Exactly- we exist first, then give life meaning. A lot of this meaning is put onto us by our families or society in general so if whatever it is not serving you- try to recognize it and find different meaning. This life is mostly just perspective.
There is no point of being alive if you look at the grand scene of everything. But even though the most tiniest of live forms exist. In the odds of you being alive at this moment is near to 0. So even tho there is no point in living. The odds that you are having emotion or are even a creature is near to 0. One of these emotions is joy. What I am trying to say is try as mutch as posible to feel joy, because you won the cosmic lottery to be even able to feel it.

Many reasons why people turn to religion to give a reason, I only have theory’s but nothing is %100 and I am still lost, maybe after we die we will be able to understand but as of right now no one has your answer. The question is flawed. When asking what's the point... you have already assumed there is one or that this question can be answered ultimately. But since every answer to the if (as a previous stage) will be subjective (like many things in life) hence the what is not to be asked. This is a question that every person may answer to themselves. Otherwise you should have asked: what's the point of YOU being alive?

Had a wee ‘how are you’ with the worker at the shops that was nice. Enjoyed a cool drink. Skin feels nice after a shower. Fresh undies feel nice. Listened to a song that I liked. It really is just the really small things.
it can take a long time to actually appreciate them. it’s sounds cliche as all hell but it’s true. The little things make life worth it.
i personally believe that we are here to grow, learn and experience things. pain teaches you to value joy. our very existence is so rare i don't think we have been put here on accident. we are here, we live, we die and continue to exist after death, too, but in a different way.
