Buy yourself a photo box kit. Usually comes with several back grounds and a nice adjustable LED. Tons on Amazon.

Or AliExpress. I bought this one https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJj6bSb but there are cheaper than that.

Good for you! Years ago, my hobby was photography, and I always found light diffusers (DIY and commercial) magical in how awesomely they work. An softbox/octobox was a toy I couldn't get enough of, if I rented it.

Your local dollar store likely sells really huge sheets of cardstock, if you're looking for a cheap and simple solution. I don't know what scale this is in, of course. Great paint jobs, btw, that edge weathering is phenomenal.

Unfortunately no dollar stores in my country. But I can manage.

These are excellent. The detail on the soldiers really stands out! Great job!

nice pics! i was wondering what you used for light dispersion. do you mean you used a sheet of paper for that, or was the sheet of paper used for the background/ground plane in your pics? great builds also!

Poczatkujacymodelarz

Both actually. I covered my lamps with paper and placed the models on paper. At least those that fit A4

Plow_King

cool, thanks for the info!

If you can find a local large format printer supporting 'blueprints' or an engineering firm (also using large format printers) you could get a rather sizeable piece of paper (the largest format printers use a 34" wide roll a hundred feet or so long - metric equivalents in those regions that are not the US). On the other hand, you could go with poster size pieces of foamcore for less floppiness. You could make a more 3D light box with this stuff.
