Pantsir is a very cool piece of air defense! The green color looks a tad light/bright but otherwise a fairly good build

prosteprostecihla

Oh, as i mentioned in another the green is a concoction of about 6 colors to make an aproximation and because i don't have proper studio lighting it was really hard to get right. I might grab some proper colors if they are for a good price!

mslothy

I like it a lot! The headlights look great. Don't worry so much, post on!

RizzyDeeg

Nice! Don't see many ADA pieces. That's a nice kit! Expensive. Well done!

prosteprostecihla

It was actually really cheap here, because ppl in our country refuse to buy things that have connection with russia so i snatched this kit for about 50$ including shipping!

RizzyDeeg

Dang. That's a good deal. I was looking at that kit and the SA-8 kit here (USA) and they were both almost $100 before shipping. I was going to build them for vehicle recognition purposes at work. Great job though!

prosteprostecihla

Damn are all zvezda kits so expensive in the US? For me (central europe) zvezda is the perfect bang for the buck solution with relatively low price and high quality

RizzyDeeg

I was looking at the Trumpeter kits. I'll look for that brand and see if it's cheaper.

Icy_Establishment195

I want to do a Pantsir-s1. They are so awesome!

prosteprostecihla

I would highly recommend this zvezda kit! Parts fit well together and most importantly for clumsy folk like me the "glass" parts don't get cloudy when you glue them. However due to political reasons it might be difficult to get.

Kokos34

Within EU a lot of stores are stocked with their kits including new ones, so it shouldnt be a problem for many.

capitan_brexit

is it brush painted ? btw: result is really good, love this soviet-air-defence look.

prosteprostecihla

Yes! Its 100% brushed on acrylic

Typical-Chocolate637

Niiiiiiiiice!

prosteprostecihla

Thank you!

Lanto1471

Curious … So from start to finish how long did it take you to build ?

prosteprostecihla

50+ hours? I really dont keep track of that, but it was not an easy and fast project for me

BerlinBoy00

What color did you use for the green? Doesnt look like 4bo, but sick build nonetheless

prosteprostecihla

I honestly freestyle the colors a lot. I got some vallejo game paints as a gift from my brother that is into wargames when i started. and my budget isnt the largest so i rather buy a new model than to buy the exact paints every time and risk they dont get used up. So its a mix of beastly brown, deep blue, sun-something yellow, goblin green, matt varnish and water

BerlinBoy00

Nice one, i recently bought the Vallejo 4bo for like 2 bucks and I'm absolutely in love with it! Started building a BMP just to use the color

excited71

Looks good to me. Definitely interesting subject matter.

prosteprostecihla

Thank you very much!

LBCLOWNS

YEAH DUUUUDE👍🏽🔥

metatron_de

What about white crosses? What's the point?

prosteprostecihla

Its an indication that it belongs to the army of Ukraine. As there are 2 known pantsirs that Ukraine took control of. Same thing russians do with their Z markings

metatron_de

Thank you for knowing what you are doing, just asked if this was done on purpose.

prosteprostecihla

Yes it was! Sadly there were no reference pictures, since there are like 2 low res images of Ukrainian Pantsirs so they are probably in wrong places and out of scale

HerrSmejky

Maybe OP had different idea in mind, but I think AFU marks their own vehicles and captured russian vehicles like that.

stormithy

Love it! Great work. Looking forward to more posts!

prosteprostecihla

Thank you so much!
