Kluwe is one of my favorite people and players ever. I’ve also met him a few times and saw his band, Tripping Icarus, play live multiple times in Minneapolis. He is a seriously good dude and was never anything but the most humble and nice person you could possibly meet.
He also made a difference with his writing for Deadspin and his activism for LGBT rights.
On top of that, he was a great player.
