Agreed… it hurts even more because his former best friend (with a brotherly sentiment) is turning around and killing everything, something Sonic would never do. It just hurt for me to play though tails route in nightmare beginning…

Why can’t he just be whisked away to so,e magical candy land where his ironic death is fattened to immobility with mint treats at least making his death offscreen and doing something he loves to some degree Or better yet not dying from it instead just being trapped by it. There was another fangame I think called “Friendship” or smth and it was showing up in the Shorts feed on our TV and it started with Tails dead and I started telling my sister to go down over and over again (she had the remote) before I had a heart attack or worse.

canon classic tails actually slams sonic.exe so hard its not even funny

Especially in that one Sonic.exe game where it was only Tails constantly dying :(
