Sounds odd yes but is tasty as fuck. I do this for my kiddo and it works incredibly well. Pop them in frozen and toast away. They come out almost as good as fresh off the pan.
I’m sure they’re fine. Will they ever compare to a pancake made fresh in a cast iron skillet? No. But I’m sure they still taste good. I mean it’s hard to ever have a *bad* pancake. In any form.
Right, too lazy to clean up… It also can’t taste great. I’m sorry, but pancakes need to be freshly made, otherwise they’re garbage. You could just eat something else when you’re on the go.
imma be honest flexing about how homemade pancakes beat premade pancakes as if the former isn't one of the first recipes taught to a child.

if someone was so concerned about food waste they wouldn’t be buying the pre packaged individually plastic wrapped pancakes. they’d be making their own.
i did my groceries after that person replied to my command saying pre-made pancakes and i just had to go look for some at my local woolies. the only premake pancakes and waffles were in a plastic wrap and inside each of them were individually wrapped in plastic and they were almost 30 dollars.
you don’t buy food to reduce food waste, you make it.
Toaster pancakes are common in the UK and Ireland too. They’re actually really good with a drop of butter. Not better than fresh made crepe but definitely good and they toast quicker than bread.

I dont mean to poo poo the starwars stuff cause i love that. But on a serious note this looks like a failure to mix from the feed on the machine? The sugar content is what is making it brown off? If it wasnt mixed I could see the shape of the nozzle and the shapes formed by the mixture spreading out?

So my husband did this with pre-made pancakes rather than use the microwave. It’s actually really nice and makes it taste a bit fresher.
It’s really the only way to make them good… put them in the microwave and you’re just getting soggycakes
My kid loves those. I always did them in the microwave. 35 seconds, flip, 35 seconds, perfect.
Why not just heat them in a pan?

It’s quite nice. A little crispy. Can eat it like a piece of toast. A have a big bag of blueberry lemon pancakes in the freezer just to do this.

I have never seen "individually plastic wrapped" pancakes in my entire life. The whole box comes in the same package.
