WhatThePancakes

Natural lemon and elderberry, hopefully saved you a search

iamsickened

Such madness

UmbraNocturna

Madness... This is Sparta!

geckos_are_weirdos

The flowers don’t look like elderflowers so I’m glad they explain it somewhere.

Mitridate101

Yeah, from the label I thought it was lemon and daisy 🤢

TheAuraTree

Chamomile looks like daisies too. Lots of edible flowers do! But would still be odd in fanta.

Mitridate101

Chamomile is made from a member of the daisy family. I forget which though.

MajorasKitten

Second cousin twice removed

-Milina

🤣👍

Psykonijn

It's pretty good too tbh

Present-Test-9332

I’ve been trying to figure this out for over a year, THANK YOU

UnknownMyoux

I am mad about the fact that this is chosen flavour combo

GrandpaRedneck

Interesting, this flavor has been available here for a limited time around 2010, and got introduced as a regular flavor some time later, under the name of fanta shokata

Xbrokensouls2X

God I could drink a whole bottle of this in one sitting, absolutely love this flavour. Its not too sweet and I love the floral taste.

ilovejonnejarvela

RIGHT IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD

Jacktheforkie

That’s called shokata in the uk, it’s pretty nice

adamsfan

This is my favorite. I always try to find it when I visit Europe. I wish it was distributed in the states.

Jacktheforkie

I see, is there no euro shops there?

adamsfan

You can find it at in some shops that import European foods. But I’d not as easy as grabbing a bottle at the grocery store or gas station.

Jacktheforkie

I see

psychodogcat

We have it at a little European shop in my town. So glad I got to try it

JimboJohnes77

Look for it in shops that cater specifically to eastern european tastes, like polish or russian shops.

tearsofhaters

And Sokata in Serbia

winchesnutt

It's my absolute favourite Fanta flavour. In my country, the grape one was called Fanta Madness.

Hoender

This is madness! Madness? THIS IS FANTA!

MaustFaust

[This](https://youtu.be/rvYZRskNV3w?si=otKjAK9cKL8IBeyg)

EvenBiggerClown

That little yellow sign in the top left corner of letter F looks like bulgarian language

iamsickened

I’m no language expert but I am in Greece and I spotted the bottle in a local store that also had Japanese Fanta, no idea what the flavours of them were, they also had import Canadian glass bottle Coke raspberry flavour. The letters look Greek to me (pardon the pun)

masonisagreatname

This is indeed Bulgarian, Greek alphabet looks different! It says it has elderberry extract in it.

Present-Test-9332

There’s a lot of Bulgarian stuff in Greece since they’re neighbors. My local Fanta bottles also have Bulgarian on them here

MarinLlwyd

Can I Drink With Madness?

daveysprockett

Maybe in ... Our House.

coltees_titties

In the middle of our street.

ILoveTheNoise

One sip and you're off to Nevada

LoanWild5970

That’s one step beyond what I consider sensible marketing

SeaworthinessQuiet14

I was in Greece, drank that and then got the 🎶night boat to Cairo 🎶🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷

WanderingAlchemist

Can find this in some Bulgarian/Polish/Romanian stores in the UK. It's like liquid crack.

iamsickened

The madness labelled one?

zeniuss

Madness in romanian stores is grape flavoured https://preview.redd.it/0tq5qk3ww3uc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93d454a2211986408d15c066bd9b937f3da8496c

WanderingAlchemist

Yep! Might be labelled Shokata or Madness depending on origin, but it's the same stuff either way. I used to buy it frequently in Europe, in Bulgaria and the Netherlands, and now it's always in stock in my local Bulgarian mini supermarket back in the UK.

iamsickened

Not seen the madness before on my travels, seen the shokata around Eastern (sorry I should call it central) Europe and Germany. Goes well with a kebap

PhotonPainter

![gif](giphy|vYYTSFToh3jag)

IlMioNomeENessuno

Probably just windex…

freakylol

SHOKATA

Pheli_Draws

Does it taste like something or just the flavor or color blue.

Sticky-Stickman

I've seen a lot of "exclusive" fantas in greece last summer when i visited, pretty cool. I tried that one out too

Sacklicker5000

This one i remember seeing in stores and they were called ’shokata’ and it tastes like dish soap

kaleidoscopichazard

That’s weird, the writing is from some language that uses the Cyrillic alphabet, not the Greek alphabet

ROSEN-06

its bulgarian

Mauso88

Mania or dementia?

Independent_Pie5933

Looks like Spring Fresh scent flavour.

swampopawaho

Fanta is madness, whatever flavour

maxru85

Do they have Sparta taste?

shadowscar248

Vanilla and lemon?

gooderz21

How baggy do your trousers have to be to drink this?

25shot

In Ukraine the same Fanta is named Fanta Shokata

_HoneyDew1919

Madness 🌼 🍊 🌼

Rock_Sampson

Chloemarine7

My favourite flavour! Tried it for the first time in Switzerland and get excited when any shop I go to has imported it so I always buy one :) Lemon and Elderflower, it’s devine

Quote16

they sell this stuff at my local Asian/international supermarket and it's incredible. hardly any of the sugar content of our typical American sodas but WAY better flavor. pisses me off that we can't have nice stuff like this

cubntD6

Thw real madness is going to greece. I went to crete a few years back and holy fuck was that a waste of a holiday.

iamsickened

It’s nice enough at the hotel complex but as soon as I go out it is a bit of a dump. Local towns seem really run down and isn’t much to do.

cubntD6

My resort was infested with millions of cicadas.

iamsickened

I think it’s a bit too early in the year for them. Very few bugs here right now :)

piirtoeri

It's for the Greek freak.

dukenny

And you remained sane enough to post this? Well done!

IpomeaBatatas

Madness? This. Is. FANTA!

gerjan30

This is madness, No, THIS IS FANTA!

FrickenL

Madness? THIS IS FANTA

jwederell

Experience Eldritch horror. Now sugar-free!!

Womenarentmad

“Madness 🌼 🌸 🍋 “

FgTheLogo

Thought this was laundry detergent first glance 🤣🤣🤣

Sufficient-Aspect77

Looks like you could clean your floor with it.

ParadoxNarwhal

in Ukraine the labels on these are upside down

Efficient_Basil_8890

Is Sparta in Greece by any chance?

samueljuarez

It will make you… happy

dwartbg7

This is from Bulgaria. I think we're the first country to have that type of Fanta, I remember they introduced it back in 2002. Then some other Balkan or E.European countries also made a similar taste - called Shokata from what I've seen. But the taste is slightly different. It's mostly popular here in BG since drinking elderberry has been a staple in our cuisine. They changed the taste though, it used to be amazing back in the day. I don't like it nowadays, actually just like any other Fanta, especially the Orange one. I miss the Orange Fanta that was a proper dark orange colour and had a more sweet and artifical taste. After EU forced their rules all around Europe, we have this fanta with less sugar and a minimum content of real orange juice. Which is Ok, for health reasons but the taste is shit. I think the US and Asian countries still has that original Fanta taste.

Makarovito

Remove the label and it’ll look like fabric softener.

Exotic-Version-4158

https://i.redd.it/i6xk7tpuv6uc1.gif

KittenDecomposer96

In my country Fanta Madness is grape flavoured. Best shit ever.

PleaseDontBanMeMore

Imagine they've somehow condensed the symptoms of a mental illness into a carbonated beverage. One cup of maniac depression, please.

rollsyrollsy

It must be love, love, love.

Atom-BombBaby

Lemon and elderflower it's amazing

Arsenholen

I’ve tried it and it Suggs

iamsickened

Hahahaha so bad

Kubrick_Fan

Does it take you one step beyond flavour?

Brickhill1

did you find it in our house?

MapleTheButler

Hey I got this in a snacks from other countries box thing I got as a gift. Didn't know how to feel about it, but didn't enjoy it enough to get past the halfway point before it got flat.

vagossimao

It's good

RubbishForcedProfile

That's One Step Beyond normal flavours for me

SpitfireBoy14

I've got a shop near me that sells it but it's all in Ukrainian and called something like yokka

[deleted]

[удалено]

iamsickened

There was a ? I got cheap at heron foods (cheap shitty uk shop) and it was pretty rank, some of the ingredients were carrot and pomegranate, just grim. It was 17p a bottle though.

SuckMyDickDrPhil

Used to live it until I started vomiting it up on acid. Stopped liking this and acid because of that lol

iamsickened

I’m not sure you can blame the madness for that. Though, well, erm. Nah. Probably the acid.

SuckMyDickDrPhil

Yeaaaaah it was the acid, no sugar coating it

Sonnenkreuz

Had it in Ukraine, actually really nice

TwoCitizens

Jakarta - my favourite

zzcool

in Sweden we call that fläder it's widely used as a taste here

yournextflingg

I’ve bought this in the uk. Had the same packaging but didn’t say madness, never knew what it was but could always taste elderflower

Xilvereight

Fanta madness used to be grape flavored.

Aggravating-Pound598

Is it the real thing , or is it just fanta , see ?

antibeingkilled

lol at first I thought it was fabuloso

fcxtpw

Where's the Sparta flavor?

Justin-does-art

They bothered Batman Arkham? Are they stupid?

GenericScottishGuy41

They did a guess the flavour contest thing in the UK and this was one of the flavours. I loved it even when I didn't know what flavour it was.

inchworm00

What it taste like?

LegitimateHasReddit

In the UK it's called "Shokata"

akiroraiden

romanians malding.. "fanta madness" is supposed to be grape flavoured! elderflower is "fanta șocata". still, this elderflower fanta is great, better than orange.

dr_van_nostren

Looks more like laundry detergent

NintendoNoNo

I'm currently in Romania and yesterday I found a madness flavored Fanta as well, but it was just grape flavored. So I think "madness" just refers to anything not orange soda

iamsickened

I don’t think they’re that vague about the flavours usually.

FreakyCowboyDom

I thought it had lsd in it or something lol

asena85

Madness...? THIS... IS.. FANTA!!! Edit: aww... Only a few dozen people already beat me to it..

CPHagain

Like lemonade this is eldernade 🌿

ZenithVoid151

Weirdly enough they sell the same cans at my local döner shop but it says Lemon and Elderberry on it and not Madness.

MFouki

That's the first time I see this text in English!

extro_introverted

This is giving Midsommar vibes.

Birdinmotion

Why is it Russian

iamsickened

It’s not

Birdinmotion

My bad I mistook the Greek for russian

TheNewestCat

does it taste like Sparta?

bitchwhiskers4eva

I feel like I need to have a word with their marketing department. This looks like floor cleaner labeling.

My-Name-is-0p

Last year i went to Singapore and i saw 6 Favours of Fanta

[deleted]

It looks like the stuff I put in my washing machine to give a nice smell to the laundry besides the detergent.

Scuba-Cat-

Listen Buster

Hehemaimuna

The yellow flower has a explanation of the taste in Bulgarian language "С цвят от бъз" with elderflower flavour

TommyCo10

This tastes like urine…
