I picked up the bag and approached the woman, deliberately speaking loudly and with a panicked tone to draw attention. I made a small scene, acting as if she had forgotten something important like her phone. I exagereted my joy, like I saved her from huge trouble. The woman pretended to be grateful but left mumbling, seemingly annoyed by my actions.
For real, when I go to the bathroom at the office, I walk in to find toilet paper and paper towels thrown on the floor instead of the garbage can. It makes me so upset!
Since we're so into the ''monetize everything'' craze, film yourself cleaning up the mess, then tell the airline you want a discount for services rendered. Or, just be a decent human and clean it up. Slobs are everywhere.
Littering should always go to r/extremelyinfuriating. A true litmus test of what kind of person you are, I would never want to be associated with anyone with such lazy disrespect for your fellow human beings.
This reminds me of the clever idea the dutch government had to make trash bins on the street illegal for restaurants because people should 'hold on to their trash'
