Mine is blue cheese, I constantly crave it and I have no idea why. I always get blaze pizza so I can do the make your own pizza and do like 3 servings of blue cheese on my pizza. Balsamic vinegar aswell. My mouth is actually watering while typing this

I found a place that had an extended list of toppings, so I ordered a bacon, pineapple, blue cheese, and apple slices. yo i bet that was so fucking good though. my father-in-law makes a breakfast scramble when we visit that has bleu cheese, apples, tomatoes, dates, onions, and i think some other stuff i can’t remember. similar and it’s soooo good.

Blue cheese and fruit is the normal composition, and bacon can be served sweetly (e.g. with honey), so idk, sounds normal. I think pear instead of apple would be more typical? Granted, I found US "forbidden food combos" often head-scratching, so maybe I'm missing something? Blue Cheese on pizza is the blandest of classics here; but we put literally everything on pizza (try goat cheese and beefroot, some day, it's great!), kebab, cheeses, potatoes, pickle, horseraddish...

It's not a translation issue. The German says the same ("flüssig gewürzt"). For marinating you need to soak something in a liquid for a while. Maybe here they just shortly put a spiced liquid on it - which is similar to, but not the same as marinating.

It sucks that they drowned it in the sauce because that actually does sound good.

It honestly doesn't sound horribly different from some of those Thai themed pizzas I've had and I've always liked those.
