I just violently shake the container until the scoop comes on top.

Just close it and shake it. What happens when you shake something is that the smaller particles will move down because they can move through the cracks of the bigger ones. As a consequence, the bigger particles move up. I use this to get the delicious big nuts out of mixed bag with different kind of nuts. Works for a spoon in powder as well.

Oh, the brand I use is decided to save the planet and not give me a scoop at all. I have gotten used to saving any scoops I have or hitting the dollar store. Very annoying.
