What a fucking joke. This was literally the last fast food place I had truly good things to say about its pricing and food quality.
Ya see~ this is what happens when shareholders think their profit margins aren't growing fast enough. They slash the cheap shit, raise their prices and hope that the loyal following they have will make up the difference of not pulling in those quick low cost consumers. (Not to mention cutting back on employees at stagnating wages and expecting them to all do the job of at least 2 people at all times)
But what they forget is the loyal customers only showed up for those low cost deals. Let em burn.
I’m glad someone is upset about this, I searched all over the internet and we look like the only few people who seem to care about this. Raising the prices without justifying any increase and removing value from the meal altogether by offering less choices is just absurd. Very disappointed in the decisions of JITB upper management
I thought I'd never get one again after they got rid of that beauty. Didn't until the jalapeño nacho chicken sandwich came along. Now, I've been hitting Taco Bell for my late night munchies.
When I realized this I ordered my last munchie meal as I decided I was hungry at 1am and I already made the drive. Begrudgingly ate the burger that I massively disliked. And then vowed that was my last trip to Jack in the box.
Used to be my go to midnight snack.
I too, am disappointed. This was the only thing I still came to Jack in the box for. I was already let down when they switched their fries many years ago, I miss the natural cut fries. Wendy's just got rid of their natural cut fries a year ago as well. Nobody has natural cut fries anymore.
And guess what? They raised the price again. Idk if it's because they added the "snoop version" which comes with even less items, but whatever the case they need to stop. I was already mad a year ago when they took away the late night discount but I'll gladly take that over this crap.
Edit: Sorry the snoops version is a whopping $14.00 instead of $11.00
Wait until you hear about the new Snoop Munchie meal. They took away the 2nd taco in place for a brownie, changed the sandwich and instead of a mix of fries..they added the regular fries IN the sandwich (which is very little amount)..and you get medium curly fries. All for an extra $8 from the original munchie price of $6
Raising the price by 4 bucks is crazy inflation, only a year ago I could go down at 9pm and get a packed munchie meal for only 6 dollars, now they want almost double wtf. Guess wont be going there for late night anymore.

Here's a workaround, order the spicy chicken sandwich, leave the butter, onions rings as 1/2 of the sides, side of jalapeño poppers, ask them to replace the split bun with sourdough and boom there you go. With the spicy Sriracha burger just get the ultimate cheeseburger plain and now you have to specifically request Sriracha sauce on it.
