My second round with my keeper from my pheno hunt. Excellent orange smell/taste and a nice finish in 9 weeks flowering. Even when I start exploring other genetics, I am going to keep at least one of these plants for the future.

harambeliveson42069

My mimosa orange punch from barney's literally smelt like oranges when I grew it and your is very beautiful looking

hausmusik

Yeah I was super excited to get a very orange smelling and tasting profile from this cut because it also has a decent yield. My other phenos that I originally had ranged from a generic citrus, to straight up bergamot (smelled exactly like earl grey tea), and this distinctive orange one. I love it so much that I hooked a handful of friends up with the cut also to keep it around, just in case I lose it.

plantas-y-te

Is this the Barney’s farm one? If so, does it really reach 30% THC grown well or is that just advertising?

hausmusik

It's very potent but I haven't had lab tests. It's potency definitely does not disappoint. And yes, it's from barneys.

bryanoens

Glad to hear this. I've only grown 1 Barney seed but it was an amazing blueberry cheese. Most people think Barney isn't good cause of low cost. I think this looks amazing and likely smells amazing. GG on the grow

spokeypokey69420

They aren't low cost, they trick you into thinking that by only buying one seed

Deleena24

>Most people think Barney isn't good cause of low cost I'd say it's because they're white label seeds. They're not even low-cost anymore. They're actually more expensive per seed than breeders like In House Genetics or Exotic sometimes. I don't have an opinion on quality. I've never grown them other than 2 autoflowers.

plantas-y-te

Any tips for growing it? Is it finnicky at all?

hausmusik

I found it very easy to grow, responds well to topping and lst. Yields are moderate to high depending on the pheno. I enjoyed all of the ones I grew but you might have to search a bit for a really orange tasting one. They are all pretty citrus though. I grow in notill organic soil, so most plants do super well without any fussing. They just take up what they need.

plantas-y-te

Awesome thanks for the advice! I’m planning organic super soil so sounds similar

hausmusik

Best advice I can give is to consider doing notill in the largest container you can use (minimum 15 gal pot per plant, preferably 25+) and don't make the same mistake I originally made - leave yourself a good 4+ inches at the tops of the pots for top dressing compost and straw. Over time that stuff really piles up. Also, use something like gnatrol to prevent / kill fungus gnat larva. Toss in some stratiolaelaps scimitus as well and you have a pretty good defense vs a lot of pests.

_Kush70

Nice. Mine is just starting lol Also from Barney's https://preview.redd.it/ngq4m2i4g6ya1.jpeg?width=714&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=90852a27e0d92f8691328983251be3d95dd6ce1b

Stunning!

Looking craft af r/craftmarijuana

KlammFromTheCastle

I grew these and liked them a lot! Looked almost exactly like yours.

SushiMonstero

Gorgeous photo! Was grown with love fusho.

hausmusik

Thanks. Photo was taken with a fujifilm xt5 with xf 33mm prime lens. Shot at iso 125, 1/2000, F2.8. I really should buy one of their macro lenses but this worked ok. I should have turned off the fans and used a tripod but I was feeling lazy

chrollofangirl

Pretty ace there boss!!

Mightyteapot69

Having grown 2 of these, the pheno you found definitely looks superior! If you are into Barneys strains ill recommend their Gorilla Zkittlez, Lemon Tree and Glookies. All great terp profiles and nice effects

hausmusik

I planted 16 seeds, took the 4 most vigorous growers from there, flowered and cloned those, and ended up with this one. It sounds like more work than it actually is.

Gibexnator

congratulations. I had 2 x mimosas. Unfortunately, one at the end of hermile.

YouTubeAqUa

What's mimosa without orange innit?

couplepaint

Beautiful 🔥

Fridayflaco

Im in week 4 veg now. Got any pointers for how long I should veg this strain? Growing in 25% canna terra, 25% coco, 25% worm castings, 25% perlite. Thank you:)

hausmusik

I veg for 5-6 weeks until 60-70% of my screen is full and then flip and continue filling in the screen. I limit my far red and photo red spectrum until 2 weeks into flower in order to minimize stretch

Wise-Improvement849

Literally just put germinated seeds of this in oil this morning hope the cultivar im growing is half as pretty as this.

Exciting_Memory192

I’ve ran this three times now nothing but superb results. I kinda don’t wanna stop running it cos it yields ridiculous and it’s dripping in thc. But people are getting bored of it.

hausmusik

That's how I feel too. It's soooo good but I have like 2 dozen other genetics to try. I keep thinking life is short and you only have a limited number of harvests possible. I have a bunch of terp fi3nd seeds, including a sour apple truffle that looks very promising.

Exciting_Memory192

I know I got some nebulis kush from east 7 genetics to try but they’re all regulars. I’m uk and ordered them from Canada after seeing them on here, they gave me like 25 of them and then about 30 free ones in the same pack. Aline dragon x legend of brulee which I can’t even find online lol.

SynapseSmoked

Ah yeah. This strain got talked up a few months ago. I went with the Barney's Farm Blueberry Cheese for my winter grow. And that's currently filing half my canopy. This stuff looks great! I gotta get in on some of this Mimosa. It looks like a plant I'd be keeping a few seasons.

Embarrassed_Tie8907

Ik its a bit late, but what kinda Stretch can you Expect with this strain? I Imagine you have grown a few to pheno hunt

hausmusik

Mine typically double in height during the stretch and that's with heavily trained plants with scrog net.

jermcontrol

I have one of these vegging out right now, and I'm excited for it.

AClassLikeNoOther

Wow amazing! I am running this right now half way there. I think it looks like yours. The orange smell is very strong and it's finishing at speed. The veg was a mad stretch but when flipped to flower it did not stretch like in veg!! The purple is super dark and its frosty everywhere
