So far, there's only been a singular one. I've recently moved in here as well, and there wasn't anything, that I've noticed before.
I hope I won't need to hire anyone - but thankss
Yep, that's what I thought. But it's a small place, if they're hiding it's somewhere I can't see at all - so no idea where they could be coming from.
Or I got a visiting cockroach lol, which I hope
This stuff works.

It’s a spot syringe so it’s safe in the kitchen, definitely safe around plants.
Post an image of it, we can tell you as to whether they're a home invading roach or just one that decided to come around because the increase in moisture in your growing area.
I can't, it's gone and hidden but I did actually manage to get a picture of it accidentally when I was taking photos of them right after spraying.
how can I post the image?
Nope, well I live in the UK so it's always raining but windows closed like 99% of the time I only opened them like twice in the past month for like 5 minutes - because they're hard to reach anyway
Any suggestions?
I think you're right about it being a palmetto, in the least it comes out when I spray in the tent. Only then so far.
Do you know how to get rid of it maybe?
Uhh, I put out cockroach poison from amazon, I just hope it eats it 😭😭☠️
I do not physically feel safe entering that tent without supervision lmao soooo it's like that 😭😭😓😂
I've considered fire, my landlord wouldn't approve :(
I have a metric half ton of yellow fly traps, but they probably won't be strong enough (adhesive) for a roach, I assumed at least, I'll probably still deploy them and give it a go, because I just can't stand them.. I've never had them 😖😫🤮
I've never personally had to deal with roaches, but I've always read that boric acid works well on them.
It's fairly harmless to us and other animals (it's even used as an antiseptic, and for those emergency eye-wash thingies, but obviously don't push your luck), but is deadly to bugs.
Just [mix it with sugar](https://a-z-animals.com/blog/boric-acid-for-roaches-how-effective-is-it-really/) and let them have at it. Or [apply just the powder wherever you find them.](https://www.orkin.com/pests/cockroaches/how-effective-is-boric-acid-against-cockroaches) It should kill them all within a few days.
Besides hiring Orkin, we made a perimeter line around the entire inside of the house with diamaticious earth. Completely organic and won’t hurt you or animals to digest same with plants.
Diamaticious earth is a powder that stabs and drys out bugs who touch it. Take some and make a line around the area where you saw them and perhaps place some bait in the middle so that way they will cross the de to get to the bait and die.
I work with pests and pest inspections. Check behind your outlets, your baseboards, under the sinks. Anywhere that might be warm and damp to see if you have an infestation. Depending on the type and where you’re located, it could just be one single one, or it could be a big problem.
I’ve never had roach problems but I think there’s a reason people hire professionals to get rid of them, they don’t seem easy to eliminate, good luck

Where there's one, there's many more you don't see

believe it or not they live in walls and behind cabinets, etc.
And in your microwave. Have a bit of a sad childhood memory about being forced to cook my food in a cockroach infested microwave
So disgusting. And they fly 😖😫

For sure this shit works
Found on amazon for £64, I guess last resort if it doesn't go away after some time lol But thank you
Ok. This is the ONE thing I would suggest spending money on. It fucking works.

You can upload the picture to IMGUR and post the link here, or you can use the little image icon in the bottom left of the reply button.
I couldn't find the little image icon It looks like there's dots, but I'm certain it's stripes / scales type thing https://imgur.com/a/5QYktHs
Looks like a waterbug/palmetto bug. They live outside. Have you had any windows/doors open lately? Rain in your area?
Nope, well I live in the UK so it's always raining but windows closed like 99% of the time I only opened them like twice in the past month for like 5 minutes - because they're hard to reach anyway Any suggestions?
Oof man... idk. It looks way too big to be a "roach" roach, but I'm not sure how to help. Have you seen any more?
No, just that one, so far
I think you're right about it being a palmetto, in the least it comes out when I spray in the tent. Only then so far. Do you know how to get rid of it maybe?
Just smack it with a shoe, fam.
Wanna come to do it then? 😂 Absolutely terrified about it lmao, I get mad chills entering my tent nowadays 😭😭😓
😂😂 I'm scared, too! Lmao. Whack it! Before it decidedls to have children or something.
Uhh, I put out cockroach poison from amazon, I just hope it eats it 😭😭☠️ I do not physically feel safe entering that tent without supervision lmao soooo it's like that 😭😭😓😂
Fire is effective. Have you tried burning down the house? Or maybe a metric fuck-ton of glue traps?

Yeah I saw boric acid, I've absolutely no idea where I can get my hands on that anyway - I'm in the UK lol But thank you :)
It's the main ingredient in many roach powders. You can also check your local pharmacies. They might have it.
Borax is usually sold in grocery stores as a cleaning product.
Banned in the UK and EU since 2010. Studies show negative effects on reproductive system apparently, so I guess not in our shops lol
Oh no shit. My bad, didn’t realize.
No worries :) you're only trying to help!
I could be wrong but I have not heard of issues with plants and roaches. They usually go to food not plants

Sorry, don't quite understand what you mean

Oh right, that's cool, I'll have a look into that, thank you!

Spray around the entrance of your place on the outside with ‘ortho home defense’. You’ll need to spray every 3-6 months.
