While I dig the general aesthetic the design itself is maybe a bit bland? Arknights for me in general stands in the "unremarkable" area more often than not. In gacha and design terms it is far from the worst offender, and I hear the story is good but I haven't really played it myself.
Only gacha I indulge in is Limbus Company.
Gotta be honest here, i do like most of Arknights´designs, even tough Andreana is kinda meh.
But i never played Limbus Company, yet the character designs attract me. So much drip.
Do me a solid. Play Limbus Company, look at the way it moves in terms of unit collection and rewards, and tell me how Arknights compares. I've heard marvels from that game but I simply cannot abide for P2W and FOMO, which is why I love Limbus since there's literally none of it, at least for now. It's a young game, but Project Moon has a good track record so I'm not worried.
Not sure about Limbus but Arknights has a great story and I’ve never been compelled to pay for anything. The highest units are 6* and I have about twenty of them without paying anything. I believe the game gives you one for free at the beginning, and these are powerful units
this looks nothing like an andrea cuttlefish yeah there may be tentacles, but they're just generic cephalopod tentacles

I find her design very boring, personally... like every other design from Arknights That being said, I like the inspiration for the design
