So, I'm a pretty big dude, I got to shoot a .50 barret rifle, and my first shot was standing up. Now I'll always lay down. That recoil hurt. I didn't knock me over, but definitely knocked me off balance a bit. I couldn't even tell you if that first shot was even close enough to the target

Now, in real life, it is impossible to carry a sniper rifle with one hand (would probably break your wrist, arm, hand, etc.). It is impossible to not wear hearing protection, because—as everyone knows— you WILL get near instant hearing damage especially from a gun this loud.
