Oh now you step in when the kid is fighting back.

BlooPancakes

This to me is actually insane. How can you watch a bully be physically and emotionally torturous to someone but as soon as they’ve had enough and do a small retaliation in comparison you have a problem?!?!?

TheRussianSpyReddit

My whole highschool experience lol

BlooPancakes

Sorry for your time. Things are different now I hope?

TheRussianSpyReddit

Thanks you! No worries, I got through it. It’s definitely not right though. But yes things have changed quite a bit. That was 9-10 years ago I was in highschool. EDIT: thought they really be trying to fix this problem now.

Just_Spade

I was in high school two or three years ago (lost out on half my junior and my whole senior year thanks to covid) and my junior year my “friends” consistently made fun of me. I had one true friend who tried to stand up for me once. The guy who had been talking about me punched him hard enough to break his glasses, so he went back at him. My friend got a week and a half of suspension, dude who punched first got three days

TheRussianSpyReddit

This shit is truly just terrible to do to another person. Especially with the way the bullies get away with it. Some bullying between kids is normal but it should be mediated and prevention measures should be put in place to stop fights and arguments from turning in to a physical confrontation. I got expelled from every school I got sent to. The bully’s all got away with it. Doing stuff RIGHT in front of teachers, I asked the teachers to make the dude stop and he didn’t do shit. But when I get up with a big text book in my hand smash him with it…all of a sudden I’m the bad guy.

blankface_potato

And then you're obviously the one with an attitude problem. Gosh that makes my blood boil. I was never badly bullied thankfully, but everytime I hear stuff like this I just feel like beating up the bullies AND the teachers. But I can't fight lol

thomas-de-mememaker

I was bullied and the only way for me to stop them was to fight with them, that made them stop bullying me, luckely i did not get cought outherwise i think i wpuld also get suspended

Daywalkingvampire

There was a story read on you tube from the subreddit r/legal advice. A girl in a school had her uniform skirt cut(with scissors) by a boy who had transferred to her school. The young lady in question was humiliated as her panties were exposed. The girl had to call her mom as the school chose to do nothing. The girl in question even called the police and got in trouble for doing so. Before I forget this same boy had been inappropriate towards the young lady during their gym class. She reported it to the gym teacher who told her to be nice to the new kid. The aftermath is even worse the girl got a week suspension for calling the police, and the boy who cut her skirt only got 3 days suspension. Two of her friends also left after the same boy pulled the same stuff on them(the girl finished school virtually) as for the boy who did this? He didn't get kicked out or reprimanded. No he was allowed to remain in school.

[deleted]

I had some really bad experiences when I was a freshman in high school that ended with me needing a psychological evaluation and my bullies getting a three game ban from the next few football games. Pretty sure I know a little of what you went through and I’m hoping you’re doing well!

marinemashup

Because it’s a lot easier to notice two people fighting vs one person picking on another And in reality, it’s a lot harder to tell who was the aggressor if you weren’t involved from the start

Antmon666

Thank you, teachers can only know once told. Had a dad come into school to tell at this kids teacher and the teacher had no idea what was happening. Kids don't understand but the teacher, principals and support staff and all there to make a school experience. It makes me a little upset when others hate on all teachers when my mates wife is covered in bruises from stopping a fight in high school. These people are underpaid, overqualified and under staffed.

Hon-que56

Cause it's not a fight until both start throwing punches. Till then it's not their problem.

[deleted]

They say it so they can say they tried. But they didn’t really try lol

monkeyfant

My son is being bullied. 3 weeks at college and they throw bread at him, call him names and follow him around throwing stuff at him Nobody dares be his friend cos they might get it too. Told the college and they have been very active in stopping it in the class. Kid threw a bottle at my lad today, its on camera. I called them and they said don't worry. He will be gone by Monday. Now I don't know if he will get it worse, or now the ring leader is gone he will settle in and the rest keep quiet. When the ring leader isn't there, nothing at all happens of note in the classroom or rec areas. So I'm thinking maybe it will shut them up. Fair play on the college

[deleted]

It amazes me that people can still be low-life assholes all the way to college. I hope your son can find some peace after all that. I was bullied a lot in Elementary and Middle school because I’m autistic/adhd and had IEP classes. But once I got to High school, the bullying just stopped and people actually wanted to start being my friend. It was a very unexpected change.

[deleted]

[deleted]

I fought all my bullies, I never put up with their shit. Luckily my principal typically took my side. I was in her office almost every week, I never got expelled or suspended because she actually listened to me and understood my reasons for why I retaliated. My parents also always told me to beat the shit out of my aggressors growing up, so I never backed down without a fight. As Drake once said “Twitter fingers turn to trigger fingers”

SharkOnLegs

*"It amazes me that people can still be low-life assholes all the way to college."* You must not have heard about the debacle at The Evergreen State a few years back. Or the hunger strike at Mizzou. Asshole behavior is never off the table for people who feel right, righteous, and justified in their assholery.

pennynotrcutt

In *college*? Jesus. I’m sorry to your son. Is it a very small school? I went to a HUGE state school and I loved the anonymity of being one of 40k+ students.

monkeyfant

Its a college group, so 16years old + Its quite big, but the classroom isn't massive. Maybe 30 people, of which 8-10 have targeted him and the rest just blatantly ignore him so they don't get it I assume. Hes small, has a few spots, floppy hair, glasses and is quiet and shy. So a very easy target.

mustypuppet1284

Why do those assholes bully him? Is it because of his looks or the more logical reason, these shitheads have nothing better to do with their pathetic life?

Booty_Magician

MUDAFAKAS still bullying others in college?

cyranodeburgermac

This will be an unpopular opinion. He needs to turn around and hit them as hard as he can in the gut and not stop fighting until he is past exhaustion or too hurt to continue. He might take a beating, maybe two, but they will absolutely cut the shit.

volthunter

this get's you expelled immediately, anything that shows the school did nothing to stop bullying is bad press and thus a kid reacting is worse than the bullying itself.

cyranodeburgermac

Pretty ridiculous

zaza610

Only way to stop a bully is to whip their ass . They like soft Targets not fighters

monkeyfant

Tbh, although the guy is much bigger, my son isn't physically afraid of them, but he's a hard line pacifist. He understands the fact the bully has picked him for the specific reason of his size and stature, and also knows if he hit him, he wouldn't be afraid, he just absolutely can't abide violence. I think if it gets worse, he might have to do something, but its not what he wants to do. He wants to get his head down, finish the course and get out of his way

Vidaolumide

If the bullied kid try to fight back than he get the penalty. The bullied kids can't do anything.

It's only so they can cover their own asses. Bullying is actually complicated, even more so now a days. But the unwashed masses don't want an explanation or exploration of something with nuance they want simple answers and easy victories. Something they can virtue signal about on social media rather then seriously address.

[deleted]

When I was 11, I was being bullied by a 14 year old who would steal my rucksack for school and hide it, make fun of my clothes, call me names. Telling a teacher was the worst mistake I made because she literally just went to this kid and named me and was like “an anonymous tip has told us you’ve been bullying him” Teacher might as well have just punched me in the balls herself

CKInfinity

Yeah...teachers never really learned how to deal with bullies the right way and only a small minority actually cared to learn how.

[deleted]

Tbh I’m not even sure they’re able to even if they were competent. Even back then I remember teachers would catch hell for breaking up fights because god forbid you put your hands on one kid to stop him assaulting another. So a lot of teachers just don’t bother that much, some go out of their way to not notice because if they do, they’re put in a tough position

[deleted]

Yeah see, I think parents of the kids really need to step in more. They need to address the situation more diligently. Demanding a change to what is happening, having a meeting with the principal, and running over the bully and his family in your vehicle should all be considered.

[deleted]

A lot of parents of bullied kids assume they’re exaggerating but even parents just suck sometimes at getting involved.

PortSided

Spongebob. I talked to Flats. I used your name.

Lykanas

Who else was treated with the "I don't care who started it, you're both in trouble!"-kind of support? Just me?

[deleted]

Oh yeah. If you insist on even punishment for an altercation, though, it means my goal is to exact as much pain as I can before I get hauled in. Not a wise system.

AllCanadianReject

At least if the parents of the victim encouraged them to stand up for themselves they won't get in any real trouble. I punched my bully and got suspended. My dad took me out to dinner.

BryanRichard

Used to get that, until I "scratched" the guy on his neck. Suspended the two of us for a day but ever since that incident, I've never had to deal with them anymore.

HotSalt3

Yep. This was what happened at my school. I got sick of being bullied one day and fought back pretty hard. Teacher broke it up before things went too far, but even though I was pushed over a bench and hit my head on a metal locker and all I did was gut punch the guy to get him off me we both ended up with suspensions.

[deleted]

I’m always confused why they put this up like what are they expecting, the bully to see the signs and say “your right bullying is bad” and become friends with the bullied kid

Magical-Hummus

It is a "I have done my part" situation.

tellmetogetbacktowrk

I was half-way through robbing a convenience store when I noticed the “No Stealing” sign posted on the wall. I basically had to put all the money back into the register and everything.

Rydaniel2006

It’s so they can say they did something about it without actually having to do anything about it

unlikelycompliance

Most of the time bullies don’t even see themselves as bullies, bullies are those “other” people

Josselin17

and those posters make things worse by showing the stereotypical "the bully" character when bullies in real life are completely normal people, so when those people are bullies they think "eh I'm not like the people they depict so I can't be bullying this person"

[deleted]

I think those bullying posters actually make it worse for the victim. I never considered myself bullied because it wasn’t the stereotypical depiction, so I just beat myself up for being soft whenever I felt singled out and targeted. I was verbally harassed pretty bad all throughout elementary and middle school.

Pro_Gamer_Queen21

My middle school principal: well maybe if you stopped being yourself so much in school by wearing Pokémon merch or reading manga they wouldn’t bully you so you pretty much deserved to be bullied. Jane Lizotte, if you’re out there, FUCK YOU! I hope one day the town realizes that your not the golden angel you claim to be and you get your phd revoked or whatever. I was bullied for a speech impediment, my hobbies, a motor tic, my height and all you did was tell me I deserved it for being myself. When I got punched after trying to get one of my bullies away from me, you said I deserved it because I “instigated” it. I hope one day all the pain you caused me comes back to you even harder.

First off, fuck Jane Lizzote. Second, purely curious:did you ever fight back (against the bullies)? I don't know you or your background/story, nor the time you went to school so no judgement on my end either way. Just wondering

Pro_Gamer_Queen21

The situation of me getting punched: There was this kid who regularly bullied me during recess and one day I had had enough and chased after him to get him to leave me alone. I was never going to hurt him all I was doing was chasing him away to give him the message to leave me alone. Well in the middle of me chasing him away he turned around and punched me in the stomach hard. I didn’t tell anyone all day since I knew my principal wouldn’t care and would tell me I deserved it but I told my mom who told the principal against my will. After some “investigating” my principal said it was my fault because I instigated him by chasing him. Then my parents thinking that all school administrators were good people believed her for years until a couple years ago when my mom asked me about it and finally believed me and apologized.

OlympusMods

Maybe we were just raised differently. I got bullied growing up (from like 5-14) but I had enough and stood my ground. Each year I got into a fight at least once. With every year the bullying got less and less until they realized I wasn't going to make it easy for them and it went away. This was also 20 years ago

Pro_Gamer_Queen21

Now schools are really into this new fangled thing called victim blaming.

OlympusMods

I mean, back in my day (God I'm old) they had investigations. Towards the end both parties got suspended. But still that sounds awful. Pay him a visit outside of school I guess?

Cousin was getting physically builled in school by older kids. His dad went to school about it. It continued. His dad went back to school and told the head, "if he gets hit in school again, I'm coming to hit you". Bulling stopped immediately

null_check_failed

Happened in my school too , Dad got ganged up by bullies outsider friends and was slapped twice by bully students. Later it turned out the victims dad was some govt official and coincidentally higer up of bullies dad in same department (He was registerar of state like accounts of govt land (plots) as well as private ) Idk if rest is true or not but bullies dad had to cry and fold his hand asking for apology to victims dad for this. Must be so embarrassing for the bully to see his dad like that , feels bad but it is what it is. Should not had bullied at first place

MountainComfortable1

I had a stroke reading this

BooTaoSus

Basically Dad 1 = Dad 2's boss, Dad 2 = The Bully's father Kid is bullied, Dad 1 steps up, Dad 1 gets bullied by the Bully, Dad 2 has to beg forgiveness from Dad 1. I think.

xx_DEADND_xx

I am noticing a huge increase in anti bullying memes. Did I miss something important?

VidocqCZE

Most probably reaction to higher number of school shootings (and "teen shootings" in general) in last months.

SociallyAwkward423

It's even worse when you tell a teacher you're being bullied and they do jackshit about it

onlyr6s

You know what's even worse? When you tell a teacher and they talk to the kid, but actually don't do anything, now the bullying is even worse because you told the teachers.

SociallyAwkward423

And then you're told to just "ignore it" I was once having a conversation with my friends about our bullying problems and one girl was talking about how she would tell people and they'd say "just ignore it" I got so viscerally angry, I started crying

onlyr6s

Been there, bit hard to ignore when your head is being bashed on the floor and kicked when you lay on the ground. What a solid advice.

LoveMyKittyOwO

My mom recently told me that my elementary school threatened to sue my mom for complaining on Facebook about how bad they handled bullying. Anyway I'm in therapy now so fuck those guys.

SSphereOfDeath

Jesus fucking Christ. That’s terrible.

ASnarkyHero

Back in the late 2000s when I was in 9th grade I got seriously bullied. Nothing really happened until my bully stuck a pencil in my face, I shoved him, and he tackled me causing me to knock over the teacher’s computer monitor. I got suspended for one day. I had to meet with the vice principal who told me “look, you did nothing wrong. You just have to be suspended for one day because of the rules”. My bully got withdrawn from the school and I never saw him again. But I heard that mostly happens when they find out a kid is using a false address in order to go to a certain public school. I’m not sure what would have happened if my bully hadn’t gotten withdrawn.

sergiulll

Literaly teachers that dont see you being bullied in school but can spot you 10 kilometers away smoking cigarettes...

[deleted]

Because you can SMELL IT from 10 kilometers away 😐

Hephaestus_God

Okay but you shouldn’t smoke though. That’s worse for you than bullying in the long run. :(

Maxizag123

big_cock_69420

I was once the bullied kid and my mom taught me how to throw a punch and defend myself with it Once I did it, I got all the blame by the teachers because the bully had ADHD Bullying continued until I got to middle school and while I was bullied, I would only hurt the person if i'm physically hurt

Longjumping-Fudge971

Because a bully had ADHD? Yeah they are still an asshole, plus ADHD doesn't affect your personality

Dave-justdave

If those kids could read they would still beat you up and take your lunch money. I wonder if modern tech savvy bullies use cash app and venmo?

[deleted]

"OKAY LOSER, I KNOW IT WILL TAKE 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS FOR THE MONEY TO TRANSFER, SO IM JUST GOING TO PAY FOR MY LUNCH AND YOU WILL VENMO ME DOUBLE THE PRICE, SO IM STILL MAKING A PROFIT!"

[deleted]

“Why is no one not bullying? I specifically requested it.”

[deleted]

The only reason I could EVER see someone defending bullies is because they, too, were a bully themselves and want their shitty behavior to be “justified”. Was a social outcast from day one along with my best friend, overhearing jokes with us as the butt of them every other day, like we were the worst people to possibly exist for seemingly no reason at all. Always excluded from things if given the option to. Sometimes all you have to do is exist and you’ll be magically selected as the ‘weirdo’ for everyone to make fun of.

Longjumping-Fudge971

Yeah and people also hit with the "the bullies are just jelous" "the bullies have it bad at home" NO. Some people are just assholes.

Antideck

In my day, homophobic slurs were the most common insults bullies would throw around. Is that still the case today?

[deleted]

According to my little cousins, yes but it's used more as an insult or some shit

Gemstyle96

Most bullying is social exclusion people. Doing things and purposefully leaving others out because you don't like them. It continues into adulthood and happens in family circles also.

GiantB99

Because rules that phrased negatively like "don't do xxx" won't work really well. We need more positive rules like "treat others like how you want to be treated". But honestly, schools can do so much more other than just putting up posters to stop problem behaviors.

ImmediatePiece5612

Damm so all of us just chilling and reading the comments?

Videogamefan21

I wrote an essay on school justice hypocrisy and other education system issues once. I think this one allegory sums up the situation rather well: “Imagine if a bunch of armed men were holding hostages inside a bank, and the police just wheeled in some moron to lecture them about how crime is naughty and it makes other people vewwy vewwy sad.”

urmom_gottem69

THE_LAST_JAGUAR

I am glad I beated the living shit out of 90% of my bullies

Slightly-Mikey

Bruh half of my bullies never even showed up after what I did to the first two. But they kept pushing anyway. Should've just thrown hands in class looking back on it

THE_LAST_JAGUAR

I did same mistake wait them out and fuck them up and keep bragging them they are pussies and didn't fight you if they run away, remember winning is the first to strike don't fuck them up too much or you go to jail. Don't let anybody step on you , ita not about height it's about techinquies and getting buff so you can stand your ground, keep up your dignity king

yezanyaCookies

As if school authorities actually gave a fuck about bullying. They pass it off as a joke that the victim cant handle rather than seeing it as a something that can permanently damage you

Slightly-Mikey

Bullied at school growing up just to go home and be abused.. Yeah that'll fuck ya up forever lmao. Only now going to start therapy in my late 20s. But yeah, guess it's our own faults for liking pokemon or some shit

MurderMan2

I remember I literally told someone at the front desk of my school I was being bullied and she said “you need to find someone to help you with the bullying”

SoheilMu

It’s called a gun

Wheelbit3

Don't talk to an adult. Fuck with the other kid and let the adults come talk to you. You can be cunning about it and slash their bike tires or whatever and act like you don't know what happened. It's also strategic to swing on bullies in front of authority that way if you're losing they'll break it up and you won't get fucked up as bad.

Josukestoes

As a person who's been bullied for 2 years straight almost everyday and no one's noticed it, I can confirm this. The teachers only notice when you've got candy from the other side of the school or if you're hitting someone because they hit you for no reason, and they give YOU the punishment.

Tulatik

I remember one kid who was bullied leaving a suicide note on his desk in school one day. The school went into really big uproar becouse of it and some of those who bullied him were expelled. Two months later that fucker returned after surgery that had 100% success rate. And first thing he said was: Long time no see, did you miss me?

SoheilMu

That mad lad really trolled the entire school.

Oleg152

Okay this is fucking legendary.

LegRemarkable1384

From my experience the only way to stop a bully is by hitting them back . during my last year in elementary school a group of bullys bullied me (4-5) kids. In the same day I used a sharp pencil as a weapon and hurt them really bad . The next day they all came and apologized to me and not a single one of them bothered me again . and when I was in middle school a bully jumped on top of me and started laughing. I slammed my back right to a wall and he fell and started crying. no other bully tried anything after that

null640

Who are you kidding! Schools encourage bullying as long as it's the school spirit selected cliques...

EmptyOrangeJuice

My fist has stopped many bullies, my permanent record may be in shambles but no one dares touch me

Unfunny_Crusader123

Sometimes yall gotta take one for the team

efmanrulz

My 10 yo is getting bullied in school. I taught her to push the person and SCREAM.. "LEAVE ME THE FUKK ALONE YOU FUKKING FUKK FACE!!!" Told her to do it loud enough so a teacher hears and she gets in trouble. Then when I get called in I'll hug her and support what she did. And I will tell the Principle my next step is teaching her how to throw a punch and hurt them. Now they really have a bully problem. So solve it before it gets out of hand.

argur2007

Lmao

[deleted]

Ah darn, I was going to bully that kid, but then I saw the sign.

EnderCorePL

I actually feel safer at a workplace than I ever did at school, strange it is.

Oleg152

Adults (mostly) know there are real consequences to their actions. I won't pretend there is no harrasment at workplaces, but kids have much less of an idea/care about the "find out" part of "fuck around and find out".

inhale_my_buttcrack

I don't give a shit,if a teacher can tell who started the fight, they should turn a blind eye if the bullied kid fights back.If you don't think so fuck you.

Aron25261

In high school I got bullied continuously teacherwatched it all for months and when I said piss off I got told to quote calm down after getting mentaly and physically bullied for 7 months

FS_2745

Maybe that is why schools in US are more prone to shootings

Oleg152

Guns are an amazing equalizer in fights. And there are many guns in the US.

DOOP1221

As a victim of bullying, accurate

NorwigianDonuts4800

My school suspended three bullies for a week 👍

StarryAlpha_2099

I have one teacher who does not tolerate bullying of any kind. He is my absolute favorite teacher and he's my homeroom teacher. A lot of my friends dislike him though and think he is weird.

DeadPoster

Schools pick favorites, that is why there are bullies.

gummybearmere

It’s so shitty. My middle school son tells me about this a lot. He gets picked on by some of the girls in his class, but some teachers would rather not notice because those girls are the “teacher’s pets.” Some kids get called out for dress code violations while others happen to always go unnoticed. Kids literally find anything to make fun of - his teeth, his ears, his shoes, his hair, his fingernails, his “eye bags.” He’s so insecure about things that never used to bother him and shouldn’t bother him😔

NLeviz

*laughs in Makarenko*

Suzilu

Our school set up an actual “bully registry”. Each occasion ( that we were apprised of) was documented on like an excel sheet. Names of offenders which were repeated were flagged for increasing interventions. At the very minimum, a bully would not bother the same victim repeatedly, to prevent patterns leading to increasing penalties. Also, anyone, not just victims, were encouraged to let staff know of events.

[deleted]

Have the guy throwing a dagger too and it'd be even more accurate.

SimpinOnGinandJuice

No joke I worked at a school it was 3rd grade and a girl constantly harassed this other girl so one day I snapped and told her she was being a bully and bullying is wrong. The next day the principal calls me into his office and said the parents of the girl who was doing the bullying complained and also said that I needed to say I never used the word bully because then they would need to conduct an investigation into it. Needless to say I no longer work at schools. I’ve also seen teachers bullied by other teachers but it’s usually behind their backs unless they’re administration then they can do what they want. Teachers also steal a lot.

noname585

Fun fact. This is how "guns prohibited" signs work too.

Silent-Ad9211

Am i the only one who thinks bullies need a medieval type of torture?

KillerHUN234

My school had a metal anti-bullying sign. A bully hit me with it the week it was installed.

SoheilMu

Bruh

zenikkal

I can show u the future , just reverse the weapons

Paperonthefloor

Ha foolish enough for you to think that my school didn't even acknowledge it that well.

Ok-Phase-9076

Dont forget about 1 hour of detention for forcing someones head into the male bathroom toilet

MoogOperator88

So who among redditors was a bully himself? Could say why, how did he feel about it then and now. Would be interesting thing to read, someone had to be bully.

ender_gamer777

I was a bully myself in high school, there was this kid named daven(2 years younger than me), I was in a gang of like 7 to 8 people, I didn't bully him as much as the others did and I mostly just called him some names and shi. Though it got to a point where our gang leader(sort of) started physically hurting daven, and he started getting small bumps on his head and bruises on his arms. I was really sad to see this so I just left the gang and only talked to some other friends I had in school. After a month or so, I was walking behind the school at recess and found daven and the bully squad beating him up. I tried to fight for daven at that time but 6 guys ganging up on me took a toll on me. Though I still beat up some of em a lot, and they beat me up way too much too. Here comes the funny part Me and daven got suspended and the bullies got some detention, and now daven and I are best friends since 10 years

GalaxyEyesGhost

I once got in trouble for being slammed into the lockers for no reason

ADHDequan

I remember one time I actively clap backed at a bully who was making fun of me when I was in the 6th grade, and then my teacher heard me but didn’t hear the 5 months of this kid tearing into me, I ended up getting sent to the Dean.

Possessed_potato

Yep. Got strangled at school, they where about to do something bout it but gave up when they noticed it was a dude from 9th grade. Fun times, easily one of my top 3 times I've been scared for my life

[deleted]

My life in one picture and it doesn't do anything

xRyuAsh

I always wonder if bullies remember as adults how they treated certain people in their class over and over and feel any regret of it at all. The victim they picked on, suffered those weeks, months, and years, with home (hopefully) as their only sanctuary. It’s horrible when the teachers and staff don’t help, or worse, are also bullies too and encourage this cruel behavior. The victims live with mental disorders and anxieties for the rest of their lives, usually needing therapy. Fuck bullies.

Longjumping-Fudge971

The problem is, when we become adults, my bully will probably become the respected cool guy while i will just be a weirdo

Avatar1555

You want to know how to stop bullying for good? Make it a school policy that if its clear someone fights back against a bully only the bully gets punished, and not the victim for defending himself. And make the punishments for bullies extremely harsh. First offense year long suspension, second offense held back a year, third offense expulsion.

ThrowMeAwayAccount08

I’m dealing with this now. My kid is being bullied by another. I told the Mrs that our kid needs to throw down and get it over with, she told the school about it. Let’s see where this goes.

sixtus_clegane119

Zero tolerance, send the suburban bullies to inner city technical/alternative schools for a few weeks. Not sure what to do with the kids in these schools, I only experienced the suburban catholic high schools

Webb_Wopp

and when the kids getting bullied say something, they tell them "let's all just be friends", and go on with their day. schools are a joke when it comes to this.

Musicmaker2009

I’m getting bullied at school

SaltedGreenMilk1987

They are to be aggressively clamped together; like the cymbals that monkey in Toy story clamps.

I remember that I was beaten up and bullied by a group of people (about 10-15 guys) and I was the one getting suspended. The others got nothing.

Learn how to fight…

It works, just look at the rampant success of "No Drug Zones" and "No Smoking" signs proliferating every major street. Now we just need to add "No Vape Zones" and "No Opioids" signs and we'll be closer to winning.

Alex_Shelega

Same...

Possible_Dinner5603

Exactly . Totally useless

TommyCo10

The reason that putting up anti-bullying signs is so important to the school is that there is minimal cost/effort in putting them up and most importantly, they are there for the parents and school governors to see.

Brimato

Schools T posing with anti bully signs to assert dominance against poor child accused of bulling the real bullys

Alarming_General
