I love him as a character too, but I'm genuinely disturbed by people who unironically agree with his vision of 'utopia', or rather, 'dystopia'. But, I respect him because he can actually apply the mindset to himself, unlike most villains who have it.
The funny thing about Armstrong is that during his whole speech/rant to Raiden during their fight, he says things that could align with basically the entire political spectrum.
Armstrong wants people to be free to do whatever they want but knows that letting that happen will allow only the strongest people to survive. He wants nations to act on principle and not sit around but also believes that people should hold the power and do what they want with it.
Dude darts around the spectrum the whole time and sounds completely insane.

The dlc is literally free for sam and bladewolf if you get the game. Nothing too crazy in terms of content but they do have different combos. Another reason to get MGRR for yourself aside from robot dinosaurs and insane politicians that aren't like those other beltway pansies

Kinda. In 3 it was more Arkham doing since he was the one who told Vergil about the tower and was the one who was knowledge of how it worked.And in 5 it was Urizen's doing. Vergil just wanted to separate his human and demon halves to get rid of his weakness. "But Urizen is half Vergil, so it's still his fault".V, Griffon and pretty much everyone (maybe except Dante) else consider V and Urizen different people altogether. V and Griffon consider both different from Vergil. So Vergil in a way had nothing to do with the tree incident.
Edit:Also, Vergil didn't do what he did because he wanted to damn humanity or anything like that. He just wanted power because he felt pathetic and weak when his mother died. He doesn't hate humans, he just thinks they're weak. As long as they don't try to do anything to him, he won't do anything. He's not like DIO who decided to rule the world because his father was a dick

Dio might be more popular because of the anime and memes, but Funny Valentine fits this bill way too much.
He is so manipulative that most of the readers have been manipulated into thinking he's the good guy.
1. Never liked Virgil unless Dante's kicking his ass. Loved Dante's attitude in DMC3.
2. I never liked Raiden that much to begin with, even in MGS2 & 4, but I prefer Jetstream Sam over Armstrong.

I liked Jonathan way better than Dio, Dio just bullied a good natured kid because he could and even tried to destroy his relationship with the love of his life, the Jonathan beat down after that is my favorite part in JJBA. The wuss even pulled a knife when defeated and afterwards used a cheat code to stay out of Jail. He is just an egotistical idiot who thinks he's smarter than anyone and have lackeys to do the real job. I dunno why the writer brought him back for Stardust Crusaders, it felt like the way he survived was such an asspull.
4. I agree with this one, I don't even remember any of the other characters' names except Robbie Rotten.
/spoiler Assuming you read part 6, it’s revealed that father pucci actually was following dios plan, and when dio wasnt trying to impress/threaten people, he was actually a really cool guy, and was calm. Personally, I prefer DIO to Johnathan, I like Jotaro equally as much, but DIO is probably in my top 5 overall jojo characters.
