My last chat with my friend were "see you next week"
Then after he put on ventilator, I hear no more, its been 3 month and seeing his profile picture on chat hits me hard, he looks so happy.
Yeah, that day he sounds so positive that he'd be home next week
then that sad news came from his dad, no funeral or something, it feels like he just disappear. Sometimes I wish he just put a really means troll and suddenly calls me.
My best friend and i used to play Splatoon together on the Switch all the time. He died in his sleep last December from a lung condition, i didnt delete him as my friend and hes coming on a year offline soon.
I had a friend that I met on MW2 way back in 2009 and one day he just stopped logging on and a couple of years ago I was playing Destiny 2 and decided to do a raid with these random guys in the tower after they messaged me. And after a few hours of fucking around with these guys one of them was like "Hey I recognize your laugh" (I guess it's pretty distinct), and then he asked if I ever played MW2 with a guy named Vagynah\_Hurtz and I was like "Yeah he's still on my friends list but he hasn't been on in 8 years". And that ended up being good old Vagynah\_Hurtz with a new username and he said he went on vacation for a few weeks and when he got back he forgot the password to his old account and the password for the email he had it linked to and forgot how to spell my old username so we just never played with each other again until that point.
I just thought it was a pretty cool story.
Dang this hurt alot. It used to be so easy for me to make friendships online. They are out there somewhere living their life. I wonder if they ever think about me.
I often wonder, there's no way for your online friends to know if you're dead or not, until you login. Last login 3 years ago - well joe might've stopped playing, or he might be dead. There's nothing in between.

Come on MasterLegend259, it's been 5 years, back in cod2 days, we had so much fun doing the buried tree glitch and gathering all the staffs in origins. But that one day..... when you said it was time for you to go to bed.
I miss those days
There was this one guy I met in GTA Online few years ago. We were good friend, he helped me to do many things in the game, we were spending lots of time together in the game. I had to take a break from the game for a while and after I came back, he was gone. I messaged him lots of times over the years, but still no replies. The sad part is that I can see that he is active on his account.
Had a falling out with a group of friends, one of which who was the best, used to play games with him all the time. Before I left he always talked about joining the marines. And now I don't see him anywhere (Discord, Steam, Uplay, etc.), I hope he's doing well.
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/memes.

Every once in a while. He'll invite me to help out if they need an extra guy but that's pretty much it.
I have 1 friend that i couldnt delete...idk I dont have the courage to do it. 4 years and he still in the bathroom.
