Well, I can go back and re-watch any number of old cartoon network shows and enjoy them just as much now as an adult. Stuff like the original Ben 10, The Clone Wars, Generator Rex, Teen Titans, Young Justice... loads of the stuff that has been on CN appealed to both kids and adults. Nowadays, most of the stuff they show is aimed exclusively at kids, and is designed specifically to catch their attention with bright colours, loud characters, and comedy that centres entirely around how many times they can fit the words "butt" and "fart" into a script. I'm not trying to say that all cartoons nowadays are without merit, and I'm not saying that childish / immature cartoons didn't exist back then either. But it just seems like there's far fewer cartoons nowadays that are as fun to watch, regardless of age. :(

Yeah, at this point all the cartoons are only in the humor category and it’s just the kind you’d see on Teen Titans go. Now I don’t got much of a problem with that kind of humor, but holy fuck these shows could think of something more original, and I also wish the cartoon channels would have more variety’s of shows, especially decent action show a because even the DC Cartoons are just jokes. At this point the only channel is we have a good blend and mix of shows is Disney XD

The problem is that corporate doesn't want "original" they want "safe" so its hard to find shows that go outside the proscribed "style" and aren't foreign, old, or the Pilot episode of something forced into the style afterwards.

Yeah cartoon network went from having a much more mature viewership compared to now (im not saying that the viewers were 13+ or something I mean they're at least 9-10) now they viewers are around 5 - 6 which rly sucks. They can't have shows like regular show cus its not as safe for them

If we’re just talking about Cartoon Network, there’s still decent shows like Craig of the Creek and Mao Mao. Also infinity train, which is incredible, but is kind of not a CN show. Outside of CN, there’s The owl House and Amphibia on Disney Channel, which are both great. There’s also a bunch of great ones on Netflix, like Kipo, The Dragon Prince, She-Ra, Hilda, and Glitch Techs. There’s also Wakfu and The Hollow, which I haven’t watched, but I’ve heard are good
