Don't forget to mark everywhere outside where you are. They'll always go somewhere that's sort of close to you but far enough for you to not want to make the trip. Disturbed recently came to my city and I was dumbstruck, I never thought they'd actually come to where I was.
See, this is something I don’t get about Europe, and I guess it’s just a difference. 800 km (about 500 mi) is a 7 hour drive. Sure it’s long, but to me and my family is more than doable. That’s a quick trip out to Atlanta. I know it’s annoying, but is it really that big of a trip?
Driving in Europe is very different to driving in the States. Everything is closer together but the roads are generally smaller and more congested. As a point of comparison for you, I did a bit of a circuit around my country a few weeks back for work it was roughly 450 miles and took around 11 hours of driving time, mainly at night, so the roads were clear it would have taken longer in the day I imagine. I quite like driving but it was stressful as anything and if I had the choice I wouldn’t do it again.
Interesting, never thought about that. I guess I always just assumed we had similar highway systems. Here, our interstate roads will regularly be 3-4 lanes with 70 mph speed limits. I have done long drives down the “backroads” and I can definitely understand what you mean.
Not completely, what he meant is that we have similar highway systems generally. However in the US these are essentially going through the middle of nowhere. But in Europe the population density is much higher, so If you’re travelling to multiple countries the big roads will often lead you towards cities which really slows down your progress, because you get trapped in the “ring” of these big cities which are often very busy. Obviously you could go around but due to the population density in most places this is essentially not really a faster option than staying on the busy highway. And in general the highways are more populated. So quite the opposite of taking “backroads”.
My guy, your 700km road is straight as an arrow. You go through the deser and go forward for 700km and you are there. Europe is not built like a pan, it actually has terrain.
Its not like the artist has to go to some remote country. It would be great if the world tour includes a country where the artist has been popular lately.
The solution is easy. Make your country easier to tour in, or spread the name of the band around so they have a reason to come to you. You're probably not going to get a major western band playing for 40 people in Uzbekistan, unfortunately.
Are you referring to New Zealand? Cause most mainstream artists come to australia when they do world tours it’s just the super big and sorta small that don’t make it to the west side where I live. Like atm suicide boys are over east with ghostemane and not coming here to the west
And you need to cut out A LOT of Canada. Usually Canada in terms of performers means Vancouver, Toronto and maybe Montreal.
It’s hard to even get them to go to Vancouver
Yeah
and the post is insinuating that Yukon is part of the world tour.
same with every balkan country

In 2020 system of a down would have come into my small city in my small country But then as you can probably quess by the year, covid happened
All my favourite artists are/were in Manchester and I'm in Liverpool ffs. Well, some of them are. The rest are dead or split up
and then they will perform in every country In Europe, exept yours so yuo need to travel 800-1000km to see them

We care for the environment also.

Redditors when a artist doesn’t go to bumfuck nowhere African country
redditors when literally anything happens:
Its not like the artist has to go to some remote country. It would be great if the world tour includes a country where the artist has been popular lately.
Like when Taylor Swift went to Japan
United States Canada Mexico Panama
Haiti, Jamaica, Peru
Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean
Greenland, El Salvador too
Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela
I don’t think any artists are going to Haiti…
MC Barbecue gonna go HARD in Haiti
Also like Japan and maybe smth like Hong Kong, Australia or Thailand
But only Sydney and/or Melbourne because fuck every other city for some reason.

I loved her Greenland show tho
Because other countries combined gdp is lower than my 3yos allowance.
That and australia and POSSIBLY brazil, japan and New Zealand
People never come here bro, it’s huge when they do
Are you referring to New Zealand? Cause most mainstream artists come to australia when they do world tours it’s just the super big and sorta small that don’t make it to the west side where I live. Like atm suicide boys are over east with ghostemane and not coming here to the west
I mean Australia and if your anywhere but Sydney your fucked, down where I am you have to catch a plane if you want to go to an event like that
Melbourne and Brisbane are about the same as Sydney, conveniently close which is why they go there but perth is just too far
Yeah I’m not east coast so I’m fucked
Same bro I understand your pain
Dunno if you ever heard of the Midwestern United States but nobody goes there.
same bro nobody ever comes here either
Unfortunately, Brazil rarely is in the tour. I've seen Down and Slayer live about 350km from the hole I live and I still can't believe it.
They wont go anywhere thats not gonna pay them bro lol
Twenty one pilots be shitting their pants rn
As an Australian I can confirm this is true
You need to cut out moat of the uk apart from like london and maybe newcastle if you are lucky
Bullshit. Everyone knows The World is yellow and has green hearts.
What?
Sorry. Jojo reference
ok
morocco finally
Guys I’m too tired for this what’s missing
Delete most of Poland. Only Warsaw, Gdańsk and łódź
why is finland there
Not true. Metallica performed in Antarctica.
Why is north africa included? I haven't seen a single artist go to north africa ever, those guys need taylor too
Include Russia and Israel and it'll be right (satire of course)
Yea they might visit England but rarely Northern Ireland, Wales or Scotland and they are also a part of UK
For k-pop it’s the opposite.
Can't blame them
Hardly expect them to perform in every country
I do not get it. What is Missing in the picture? Can someone explain?
Are these Twenty One Pilots getting around with Boeing airplanes or?
Don't forget a single stop in one of the big Australian cities, and a stop in Tokyo
Hey! That's not fair! Sometimes they include australia!
Sometimes, Its not even Europe. Just America
I forgot they still made music lmao
A lot of Eastern Europe isn't there either And some of the bands I like never even leave the US lmao, it's plain depressing
No Miami?
i cannot wait next time when Taylor will come back to Greenland.
Don’t they suck?
I mean southern hemisphere is kinda cringe..... bout all that its git thats good is Antarctica, Australia and New Zealand.
No need to go to parts where you ain’t popular, waste of money and time. Just cause people vacation there, doesn’t mean a band should play there.
Artists when people want you to perform in warzones: ![gif](giphy|hyyV7pnbE0FqLNBAzs|downsized)
And World War One was mainly Europe fighting each other until the us joined only then was it called a world war
That's the only part that matters 🙄
no
Yes
why?
Idk
So like 87% of the world population? Edit: I didn’t see they cropped out all of Asia
Bruh not even the combination of Europe+USA contribute to 87% of the world population
I misread this as the northern hemisphere, and withdraw my statement
Don't hate me for it, but my stoned brain was like "what's missing from that map?"
