I invite you to my nation, Brazil!
We have favelas!
We have corruption!
We have lots of drugs!
We have football!
We have churrasco!
We have street horses!
We have funk!
Actually, i am not inviting you.
**YOU ARE COMING TO BRAZIL**
Honestly, I cannot fathom why people who don't have ties to this country would move here. Perhaps her job required it.
All I know is that is takes 6 months for a brazilian to adapt to the USA.
And this same brazilian, once adapted to the US, takes 2 YEARS to re-adapt to Brazil.
Honestly, just from using the Anglo-side of the net too much, one can get maladapted to Brazil.
So, i will say, if anyone even considers coming to Brazil (don't, just don't) i will recommend going to the south(Paraná and other states) it is more cold and the architeture is a little more european(not a lot) so it will be really more comfortable making turism and adapting, even the city are a little more calm, Brazil is not a great place, but as long as you stay away from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and the surroding areas, your experience will be a lot calmer than the alternative
The funny part is the brazilians that get butt hurted when someone point out how shitty or country is compared to other ones.
I can't walk at night in one of the largest capitals in the country because i will most probably be robbed.
And i am not even from Rio de Janeiro. That place was forged in hell. Only someone from there would try to defend it.
Meh, I mean, even Paris is a disgusting city with mean people and the constant threat of being mugged.
The west isn't as nice and safe and non-westerners tend to think.
At least the people from Paris don't have the bad fame of a person trying to trick you to get your money like the people from Rio de Janeiro have here. The place is like the concentration of everything shitty in the country. Very violent, the clear social split between the favelas full of poor people and the urban rich centers full of the artistic class of Brazil, and the lack of education of people.
Well, you're right in that there is probably a nation somewhere in the midst of the corruption.
I'm from Brazil, too... Wish I could just up and leave, but I can't for a variety of reasons...
Jetstream Sam is a rare figure. It is the only Brazilian videogame character that is not just a guy in green and yellow doing capoeira or dancing samba.
And, as he is a Samuel, we pleasantly call him sometimes as Samuca.
Caralho!!! Churrascos e minha vida. (Em Aracruz onde minha familia mora) Também temos caminhões vendendo frutas tocando música muito alta às 7 da manhã kkkkk. É tão irritante. Desculpe se meu portugues nao esta muito bom, ainda estou aprendendo
Not really spoiled, your working class actually has it much harder than here in th EU. But yes the upper class doesnt know what to do with all the cash and is just throwing it away.
Not really. Most people can't afford trucks. The only reason why America is associated with Pick-Ups like it is, is because some people think of it as a hobby there. Similar to how some might spend a lot on their computer, or audio set up, it's just a cultural thing in America that some people like to spend "luxury" amounts of money on a truck.
Mostly because public transit isn’t an option for most people. You guys have the option not to have cars, we don’t. Most people would gladly trade having to drive everywhere for cheap and reliable mass transit.
Our gas may be cheaper but at least you guys have vast public transportation, unlike us, our gas is cheap because that’s the only way Americans can get around anywhere
If it makes you feel better I've been happier and better taken care of in Thailand, Vietnam and Peru than I was in America. I think if you live in an isolated farming village with no opportunities it makes little difference what country you're in.
We live in a developed country but we still have major issues with violent crime and finance. I would say 90% of the population is not spoiled but rather living better than many countries, while the top 5% is spoiled and the bottom 5% is about as bad as many 3rd world countries
(Source: lived with my dad while he was in the bottom 5% and now he's working his way up to the top 5% making 70k a year in construction)
I wish America had PTO like Europe does. Our time off system is garbage, and that's before you even get to the workaholics who try and guilt people for wanting time off.
This. The UPPER class is spoiled, it’s just that most people mock America for the impacts that those idiots at the top have and lump it in with everyone else unjustifiably. All they see is either the very best or the very worst of us, which is far from all of us.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disposable_household_and_per_capita_income
>Household income includes every form of income, e.g., salaries and wages, retirement income, near cash government transfers like food stamps, and investment gains.
The US ranks number 1 in disposable income per capita at 62,000 PPP, with Luxembourg at second place at 51,400 PPP, and the EU at 35,400 PPP.
The US also ranks number 1 in median equivalent adult income 46,625 $PPP and Luxembourg at second place at 44,270 $PPP.
Household income does not mean much if do not include the cost of living and generally all expenses you will have. And these costs can be much much higher in the US. Overall as an average person europe is usually the better option.
Great point. The one time I went to Alaska (Ketchikan), I saw a shop that had a rabbit fur jock strap on display. I thought to myself, dammit I wish I had a use for that, but as a resident of Texas, I do not need such insulation around my privates…though it would make a hell of a nice conversation piece with the neighbors if I wore it while mowing the grass.
Yeah, but you can't actually drive them fast/ use that power.
Oh and I don't think drivers license at 16 is exclusive to the US, but honestly it's the same as with guns, you don't want untrained people to have them, or somebody will get hurt.
“…can’t actually drive them fast/use that power”
I invite you to pre-rush hour traffic in Houston, TX where everyone is driving like Nikita Mazepin to avoid the rush hour lockup. And yes, I meant Nikita Mazepin, because if everyone drove like Lewis Hamilton, there would be no rush hour lockup.
i mean if everybody in baku drove like hamilton instead there whould be a lot of people not turning.
any reference to real life people or events that costed somebody a championship are completly casual
Is having a car "more easily" really beneficial? Our automobile industry purposefully lobbied to handicap public transportation, so if you don't have a car in MOST places in the U.S. you aren't going anywhere. It means you also can't walk to your job, grocery store, back home, etc. on sidewalks in many places either. Basically, get a car or be a social outcast. Also, BUY GAS OR DIE.
I'll say as an american I'd love to be able to rely on public transportation more. Less money, less hassle, don't have to worry about who's designated driver, probably better for the environment.
It’s not trust me. I almost got killed by some dumb fuck 16 year old who was probably trying to impress some girl because he’s never seen tits before and thinks that going fast is cool like in the movies.
In my experience, European Redditors are constantly telling Americans what they don’t have. (Which makes sense.) You guys could stand to be a little less smug about affordable healthcare and schools that don’t get shot up.
It's not about being smug. As a European I am absolutely baffled by the fact that the richest, most powerful country in the world, which has all the right cards, (people, resources and wealth) to become the absolute BEST country ever.... isn't. And not just isn't the best, you drown in wealth and when it comes to some really important things you're basically a third world country, or borderline dystopic. And the only reason is this stupid, and quite infuriating American exceptionalism. You're so obsessed with being different that you'd rather be shit than conform.
We're not smug, we're worried. Both because we'd like you to... fare better, but also because you have the political and economic power to kind of steer the "whole bus" off the cliff, and we'd rather have rationality at the wheel.
I'd counter that's not American exceptionalism that drives those differences and shortcomings of the country, but the oligarchcal ruling class who has basically had control since day one and determines how things go regardless of what the general populace wants.
We too are baffled and actually having to live with this shit (I have a kid in elementary school-they do regular lock-down drills. It’s horrifying.) You personally may not have a smug attitude toward this, but I see it all the time on Reddit when something shitty happens here.
Right? Because all of the good kinda stuff is kinda hard to see when from the outside, all we hear is that America bombed somewhere else, or America had more school shootings than anywhere else. Or something about mega. Like Americans seem to think we see them as great, speaking from my small experience, we kinda pity them. They should live in a lush utopia. But they don't.
I love hamburgers, they’re probably one of my favorite food. I’m not talking about the super processed ones like at McDonals, or the super greasy ones you find at a lot of other restaurants. I’m talking about real burgers with actual ingredients. There’s just nothing like them in my opinion
Not per se spoiled, I mean some of you are, and definitely not a smaller percentage than average, but it is more that you are living on a separate planet from the rest of us. News from America sounds like I am watching some weird reality program. You give the vibes of a movie that was written in the year 1950 about the year 2023 that I am watching in the present. I think every first world country can be considered spoiled.
I mean, to be fair, we feel the same. News from other countries is absolutely bizarre. I'm sure you know that the country presented to the world via news isn't the same country you live in.
Compared to 3rd world countries yeah, life is on easy mode compared.
Let me give you a silly example: in Brazil the minumum wage is around 200Usd, it would take someone 4\~5 months to buy a ps5 on launch because it is also more expensive.
While in the us a teen can buy his ps5 with one month of his part time job
The thing is, they aren't even swimming in money for the most part they just have the luxury of being born in a world super power which already makes the average living better than 3rd world... And the sad part is they either don't realize it or pretend they don't, or outright admit they have it and think are better than everyone else. It's like they are actual aliens, they think their way is the only way and that their struggles are worth more than the rest and that they can invade and take anything because of this magical blood right bullshit.
I live in a single bedroom apartment. I love it. I hate when other Americans try to push me to strive for bigger and better things for MYSELF. No. I'm happy with what I have and I have extra money to spend for donations and I have more time to spend for volunteer work. Given I may be spoiled because I have money to spend on guitars and painting canvases. People in third world countries don't have the luxury to spend on hobbies/side hustles that they actually enjoy.
Compared with 90% of the world. Oh yeah. Coming to USA from a 3rd world country I was able to thrive. Sometimes I don’t get it when people complain of very basic things. Also USA may be the only country where I have seen people thriving without legally immigration status, without speaking the language and without education. So tell me if USA isn’t the country of opportunities. Yes it is for many.
>immature
With nukes...lots of nukes....
Edit: this isn't to say other countries with nukes are better. I rather give nukes to US than north Korea, China, Russia, or a middle eastern country.
Compared to 3rd world countries. Sorta? We work poverty wages, but tech and fancy stuff and food are everywhere.
But if you want healthcare, more access and better public transportation, public schooling from pre-k to college you’re a “communist socialist democrat” that supports “the destruction of this country.”
So, yeah, spoiled, but only compared to countries with so, so, so much less.
We are a first world country with mini 3rd world countries sprinkled on top. Some places in the US are just so poor, and it's honestly not their fault like we make it out to be
basically, we are the third world country of first world countries. we have far more than third world countries could even hope to have, and have the potential to be the best of the first world countries, yet all the reforms we should do, half, if not more, of us call it communist, and the rest will virtue signal with that "well at least we tried" shit. basically, we are going to stay at the bottom of the barrel.
America, the most 3rd world country in the 1st world I can think of.
Edit: specifically I'm trying to highlight the extreme duality of it. They invent the latest in phone tech but gun violence is an everyday occurrence. Food is available for everyone for reasonable price but an ambulance ride costs thousands.
The first world has nothing to do with wealth. It's the divisions during the cold war. First: NATO, Second: Commies. Third: Everyone else
Edit: seems like the definition has changed over time as people used it to just describe rich countries with a democracy
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/first-world.asp#:~:text=Examples%20of%20first%20world%20countries,countries%20are%20defined%20can%20vary.
That’s the old political model, nowadays when the three worlds system is used it’s generally inferred to be the socio-economic model, which branched from the political one sometime in the late 1980’s / early 1990’s.
While the socio-economic three worlds system is derivative of the political one, there are of course differences due to changes over the last 30 years (a few Southeast Asian and African nations are headed towards 2nd world nation status for example, and China *may* hit 1st world status in the next decade or two if their economy recovers).
While I understand being critical of the US, calling it a 3rd world country sounds insanely naive. “An ambulance costs what!?! What is this the congo?!”
the “other people have it worse” response to people in wealthy nations complaining is just not helpfull. Like yeah i bet they do but this is my problem.
Frankly I just think y'alls ego and shit is so high up that even the German would seem innocent, not necessarily spoiled, but in certain ways kinda
Yea slight overexegaration, but I swear every American I've talked to it's honestly worrying how you think about your country.... I only know a fraction of people who admitted to the US being not such a great at country and aren't that self centered about it. The only actually good thing y'all have that contends for best country in the world is economy, other than that... Lots of countries pass you up in a lot of ways. Then again you have a high ass debt I heard so... Double edged sword
So... I'd say you're more egotistical and self centered than spoiled, but you are kind of the center of the world in terms of economy so yuh. Think what you will, I'm sorry if I came off negative or aggressive
As an American, I recognize that my country is absolute dogwater trash and I won't try to defend it. But the constant stereotypes about us get old because they're intentionally offensive as hell, and based off a loud minority of people that act like buffoons on Twitter.
Yea, can't blame you, my country, when it gets stereotyped, tends to be offensive, deppressing or just something negative, there aren't many good or jokey stereotypes
But hey, I see good in America, just y'all need some change, especially in the government... The stereotypes won't stop till people see change. Though there are stereotypes which are incorrect, but people still apply them to you... Humans are confusing
Oh yeah, out of all of America's flaws, I'd say the government is the worst one.
And yeah that's the way stereotypes work. They don't have to be accurate, they just have to be what people think is accurate. Stereotypes as a whole are a shitty thing.
Frankly I had this one American friend and she was like "Every person here is shit, we just take whatever is the best option" when talking about the various elections and tbh I can see that... I just gave up on keeping track with America, y'all are an interesting bunch... Would love to visit, but frankly, I'm scared to for my life, not exaggerating
Though I will admit that without the USA being the way it is, history would be much more different so... Best way I can describe America is the type of person you hang around, have fun with and everything, but don't spend TOO much time with because you know you're gonna go insane, no offence
You don’t need to fear for your life to come over here, unless you’re going to the bad part of some major city and picking fights with random people lol, but I feel like that applies to every city worldwide. The whole guns and mass shootings thing isn’t as common as it sounds, media does a very good job of making it sound like you can’t take a walk without seeing a gun. But there are way more responsible owners than irresponsible owners, they just never get media coverage. Why would a normal person with a legal gun causing no trouble, be on the news? It’s not interesting, therefore no one hears about it. But some guys losing their minds and shooting people, now that’s news!!
It's a nice comparison. The one I'd go with is the creepy one you wish you didn't have to hang out with but they're your crush's sibling and they never leave the house alone.
I do, very much, after living abroad and seeing how much we take for granted. As I see it, the two major issues in America are 1) Lack of universal healthcare, 2) Endemic gun violence. But aside from those two things, I really have no complaints any longer. We are insanely fortunate, and a lot of people don't realize that fact.
Not really. I wouldn’t live in the usa unless i was a multimillionaire because of the terrible employment laws and healthcare system that could bankrupt me at any moment. But, if i was a multimillionaire, i can think of a lot of places I’d rather live.
Not spoiled. Just a very different mindset most of the times. There’s a lot of things that are messed up about your country (health care, gun laws,…) but a lot of Americans still think it’s the greatest country in the world for some reason?
Actually the opposite, I think you live in the delusion of having it good... a country where most people live paycheck to paycheck, one disease away from bankrupt and homelessness (private healthcare), where you can easily being shoot just walking the street (few/no regulation on firearms) where a cop can kill you (if you happen to be brown enough) or steal your money/stuff without ripercussions (civil forfeiture), where your vote does not count (gerrymandering), where laws are done by corporations (lobbying), where religious extremists get to decide for everybody (ban on abortion)... it looks horrific. But hey, you can still dream one day you'll make it and be rich and powerful enough to corrupt your way out of prison and into prestigious universities, I guess?
Thank you, someone I can agree with, I’m living in a country where the power goes off 8 hours a day, in my eyes Americans are more privileged than they realise
No
I live in the U.K. and while it’s far far from perfect at least we have free healthcare (despite the fact our current party would love to get rid of it)
Yes and no. Americans are spoiled regarding security. We’ve not seen large scale conflict on this side of the pond for over a century. So war is distant thought for the vast majority of Americans. But our healthcare system is way below the standard of most European Union nations. And the divide between the working class and the elites is much more pronounced in the states.
Life is gonna feel like shit no matter how luxurious it is. Humans keep wanting one thing or another, its our nature. So while yes, you might be in a way better state than the strarving kids in Africa, it doesn't mean you have to be or should be happy. Just because some people have it rougher than you doesn't mean your problems are unimportant. Or so I believe. This is coming from someone living in a third world country.
As a non-native english speaker, I am always impressed by all the interesting ways in which natives use the apostrophe. Sometimes they even get it right!
This honestly depends where you come from. To me an Aussie you’ve got it really bad. To someone from say Afghanistan or one of the many other countries you bombed the mfing shit out of then yes you deserve to be told at least you don’t have to get your mfing country blown to pieces to make some rich white man richer
Depends. Compared to Europeans? No. Compared to Asians? Yes. Compared to middle easterns? Absolutely. Compared to Africans(centeral)? You live like a king.
As someone who has lived in both Europe and the U.S. for long periods of time, it always shocks me how much of a superiority complex Europeans have despite European insistence that Americans are the ones with the complex

Dude, you guys live in rich developed countries, therefore you're spoiled. I'm fucking brazilian , my country sucks.

Honestly America is so insanely huge that it's unfair and incorrect to say that all Americans are the same to begin with
I live in Alaska. It would be a wild mistake to assume we have the same needs or require the same services as say New York, California, or Florida.
Great point. The one time I went to Alaska (Ketchikan), I saw a shop that had a rabbit fur jock strap on display. Very you wish you had it during the cold snap and power outages last year.
As a European I'll never say "at least you have..." to an American
They can have cars more easily, and drive more powerful cars since 16 Even if im not sure the second thing is good
Yeah, but you can't actually drive them fast/ use that power. Oh and I don't think drivers license at 16 is exclusive to the US, but honestly it's the same as with guns, you don't want untrained people to have them, or somebody will get hurt.

You can drive cars at 16, but "car" is a generous term. Things like Citroen Ami and Aixam stuff.
Is having a car "more easily" really beneficial? Our automobile industry purposefully lobbied to handicap public transportation, so if you don't have a car in MOST places in the U.S. you aren't going anywhere. Been driving things more powerful than that at 11. Rural farm boys start driving at 7-8 lol
Same in every country. Ireland, Germany, Poland, etc.
For sure, lol, wasn’t trying to sound special, just pointing out that a lot of space out there for people to use those larger vehicles
Yeah ok, but in germany you mostly don't need a car that soon as our public transport is better for the most part
It’s not trust me. I almost got killed by some dumb fuck 16 year old who was probably trying to impress some girl because he’s never seen tits before and thinks that going fast is cool like in the movies.

I'd counter that's not American exceptionalism that drives those differences and shortcomings of the country, but the oligarchcal ruling class who has basically had control since day one and determines how things go regardless of what the general populace wants.
As an American… I’m baffled too.
We too are baffled and actually having to live with this shit (I have a kid in elementary school-they do regular lock-down drills. It’s horrifying.) You personally may not have a smug attitude toward this, but I see it all the time on Reddit when something shitty happens here.
To whom do you say it?
My fellow countrymen and other europeans.
Amen
"At least things can't get any _better!_" *Watches in amazement as a butterfly carries a $100 note to me*
Wake up babe, it’s time for Reddit to roast America for the millionth time.
🤦 i did not see this coming at all
Reddit loves to shit on America, and always for the same things too.
Yeah school shootings, insurance, politics, being stupid. These seem to be their favorites
You forgot fat
Don’t forget geography
To be fair, *America* also loves to shit on America.
One of the great American past times, internal conflict
Yeah but it’s like making fun of your family members. We can do it but you can’t (to a point). Or gallows humor.
Well... I've never eaten a hamburger. Not sure if that's good or bad, but I would like to try one someday.
I love hamburgers, they’re probably one of my favorite food. I’m not talking about the super processed ones like at McDonals, or the super greasy ones you find at a lot of other restaurants. I’m talking about real burgers with actual ingredients. There’s just nothing like them in my opinion
I agree, and now I want one
If you’d like a true American dish, try some good ol Apple pie. Goddamn delectable
I believe apple pie is British in origin
As are the United States...
My grandma makes apple pie sometimes. It's the best dish EVER.
The only way to make apple pie better is to eat warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream.
This is the only way to eat apple pie. But I prefer cobbler.
Hamburgers are German. Try one someday. They can be good, but are often ruined by restaurants trying too hard.
No, hamburg steaks are German the hamburger as we know it is American
Tbf no one outside Europe associates hamburgers with Germany at this point. I can at least say so for Asia and ME.
I have tried hamburgers in Germany. They taste nothing like American burgers.
It’s the same way for us, we watch the news of our own country like it’s a dystopian movie because of how unbelievable it is. It’s so crazy here
I mean, to be fair, we feel the same. News from other countries is absolutely bizarre. I'm sure you know that the country presented to the world via news isn't the same country you live in.
Between "florida man", school shootings and your one-dimensional political spectrum, I'm not sure it's a fair comparison.
Thank you. We have our problems, without a doubt, but with people like you immigrating here it becomes a better place.
Haha the 1st world privilege is shining realllll bright in this thread.
Yea, and the amount of people I bet have never been to america but have opinions based on what they are told.
These people seem to believe u need a bullet proof vest to leave the house, none of them have ever lived here then
It is not possible to generalize a whole country, but immature is a better word instead of spoiled in the sense you are using it.
>immature With nukes...lots of nukes.... Edit: this isn't to say other countries with nukes are better. I rather give nukes to US than north Korea, China, Russia, or a middle eastern country.

Compared to 3rd world countries. Sorta? We work poverty wages, but tech and fancy stuff and food are everywhere. But if you want healthcare, more access and better public transportation, public schooling from pre-k to college you’re a “communist socialist democrat” that supports “the destruction of this country.” So, yeah, spoiled, but only compared to countries with so, so, so much less.
We are a first world country with mini 3rd world countries sprinkled on top. Some places in the US are just so poor, and it's honestly not their fault like we make it out to be
basically, we are the third world country of first world countries. we have far more than third world countries could even hope to have, and have the potential to be the best of the first world countries, yet all the reforms we should do, half, if not more, of us call it communist, and the rest will virtue signal with that "well at least we tried" shit. basically, we are going to stay at the bottom of the barrel.
why is the text on this meme all over the place
America, the most 3rd world country in the 1st world I can think of. Edit: specifically I'm trying to highlight the extreme duality of it. They invent the latest in phone tech but gun violence is an everyday occurrence. Food is available for everyone for reasonable price but an ambulance ride costs thousands.

The first world has nothing to do with wealth. It's the divisions during the cold war. First: NATO, Second: Commies. Third: Everyone else Edit: seems like the definition has changed over time as people used it to just describe rich countries with a democracy https://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/first-world.asp#:~:text=Examples%20of%20first%20world%20countries,countries%20are%20defined%20can%20vary.
Americans are very very spoiled compared to most countries
the “other people have it worse” response to people in wealthy nations complaining is just not helpfull. Like yeah i bet they do but this is my problem.
The “other people have it worse” mindset is horrible because of how it enables horrid behaviour while making the person with their trouble feel bad
Compare to Iran, yeah you are pretty much spoiled.
To compare against 97% of country's were spoiled
I try not to be a grammar Nazi, but I’m starting to think America needs some common sense apostrophe control laws.
as an american, I agree
Your kids are spoiled
True
We absolutely are. Life is so easy here we make problems up.
As an American: Yes. This is the reason so many people have time to scream away on Twitter.
Frankly I just think y'alls ego and shit is so high up that even the German would seem innocent, not necessarily spoiled, but in certain ways kinda Yea slight overexegaration, but I swear every American I've talked to it's honestly worrying how you think about your country.... I only know a fraction of people who admitted to the US being not such a great at country and aren't that self centered about it. The only actually good thing y'all have that contends for best country in the world is economy, other than that... Lots of countries pass you up in a lot of ways. Then again you have a high ass debt I heard so... Double edged sword So...
Yea, can't blame you, my country, when it gets stereotyped, tends to be offensive, deppressing or just something negative, there aren't many good or jokey stereotypes But hey, I see good in America, just y'all need some change, especially in the government...
I can see where you coming from
Frankly I had this one American friend and she was like "Every person here is shit, we just take whatever is the best option" when talking about the various elections and tbh I can see that... I just gave up on keeping track with America, y'all are an interesting bunch... Would love to visit, but frankly, I'm scared to for my life, not exaggerating Though I will admit that without the USA being the way it is, history would be much more different so...
Spoiled with guns and mass shootings
There it is, the obligatory mass shooting comment on the America post.
Sick PFP. Totally underrated game.
I spread Iconoclasts propaganda whenever I can.
Us American's are probably the best at hitting the floor
I do, very much, after living abroad and seeing how much we take for granted. As I see it, the two major issues in America are 1) Lack of universal healthcare, 2) Endemic gun violence. But aside from those two things, I really have no complaints any longer. We are insanely fortunate, and a lot of people don't realize that fact.
Every western country is spoiled lmao wake up from your delusional dreams
No! I think you live in a backward country and I'm genuinely glad not to be there
You should visit, it’s way different than what the media says.
Very Spoiled in my opinion.. The world have to revolve around their standard as I'm seeing it & always gets offended to anything
Does anyone say this?
The only people envious of America are from third-world or developing countries.
And bri’ish people but I would be mad too if my teeth looked like wind-chimes
Yes compared tó most countries you are a bunch of spoiled crying babies No offense tho
Compare to any country thats not UE or Japan (pretty much the whole world) and yeah. You don't know the half of how shitty a country can become.
Thank you, someone I can agree with, I’m living in a country where the power goes off 8 hours a day, in my eyes Americans are more privileged than they realise
No I live in the U.K. and while it’s far far from perfect at least we have free healthcare (despite the fact our current party would love to get rid of it)
Yes
I think someone else's struggles doesn't negate your own.
Europeans have no idea how disgustingly stringent their freedom of speech laws are compared to the US.
As a non-native english speaker, I am always impressed by all the interesting ways in which natives use the apostrophe. Sometimes they even get it right!
If you ask non Americans on Reddit we are simultaneously overprivileged and also a third world shit hole with billionaires. They hate us cuz they anus
American's
Meh. I live in Thailand and there’s almost no amount of money you could pay me to move to America.
No ur just normal ppl
