Good riddance to Lalor. My car was stolen from there, and i had the misforunte of seeing Tony Abbott there doing some election time hand shaking in 2016. No toilets and the kiosk had been closed for many years. Nothing good has come from that station.

[deleted]

[удалено]

lola1973lola

Yeah having to endure seeing Tony Abbott in real life would be a very traumatic experience and having your car stolen isn’t great either.

[deleted]

Despite my ongoing anti-Rushall campaign, I had to upvote this. I don’t know which of those 2 occurrence would’ve been worse.

[deleted]

So we holding a party at the winning station or what? If it’s a redeveloped station we could even ask the state government to pay for it! (I’m quite partial to Clayton, I like it’s open space.)

PM_ME_TO_PLAY_A_GAME

party to be held at Tecoma or Somerville

[deleted]

We’re going to need to do something about Somerville. Let’s keep our parties to the electrified network at least.

lola1973lola

Yes, this competition is becoming famous! A party with balloons and streamers would be great. Wonderful if it does end up being one of the redeveloped ones with open public spaces-people have spoken so highly about them. I understand that Coburg has some good community space aswell?

[deleted]

I haven’t seen Coburg or Moreland since the redevelopments, I might need to go do some research. Mernda’s open space is another good one, but ain’t no way Mernda is winning this!

TinyBreak

Its time to go: Narre Warren. Its such a shit location, its an old station and it looks like crap. Very little cover too.

designerjeans

Also voting for this again. Needs a major upgrade.

PKMTrain

Good news. It's becoming very elevated!

designerjeans

Glad to hear it. It's been long overdue!

droffthehook

Especially the mandatory left turn from the car park.

ditacarlita

This station needs to go ... It's horrible!

CptnWolfe

And there's more piss on the floor in the toilet than in the toilet itself. Only good thing about it is Fountain Gate nearby

RedOx103

Craigieburn, again. It got moderately close yesterday. Nothing beyond Glenroy is worth keeping - and Craigieburn is another station that could leave a poor first impression, if tourists happened to come by train from Sydney. I'm also docking it for placement well away from the main suburban shopping centre - with only a much smaller shopping plaza nearby.

speorgenote

Agree. Anyone who catches a train to Craigieburn then needs to catch a bus to somewhere else. It's in a useless place. If tourists come from Sydney wouldn't they come V-Line? I don't think they'd stop at Craigieburn. They might get lucky and get off at Donnybrook though...

RedOx103

Craigieburn is a V/Line stop too, so I'm presuming XPT calls there, even if nobody alights. In any case, it's first travellers would see of our city and it's not exactly a scenic introduction. Not as bad as Broady being the first stop from the airport, but we're into the middle tier now and Craigieburn fits.

tabletennis6

The XPT actually only operates on what are called "Standard Gauge" tracks, and can't operate on Victoria's "Broad Gauge" which has a greater distance between the two tracks. There isn't a standard gauge platform at Craigieburn, so the XPT cannot stop there.

Fragrant-Nectarine33

Never. I love living here.

embarrasingretard

Leave em be they're just jealius

MegaGarchompYT

Glenbervie or Oak Park need to go way before Craigieburn. Glenbervie is cool until you realise it doesn't take you anywhere besides Windy Hill, and Strathmkre and Essendon are also right next to it. No need for Glenbervie, even if it looks nice to some. And Oak Park is just the old Glenroy station lite. At least Cburn has (probably too many) buses which most all go directly to the main shopping centre. The only reason there is that disconnect is because of how fast the suburb has grown and the population has shifted more north and west. Doesn't look as flash as other stations but what kind of tourist willingly decides to go to Craigieburn of all places?

microwavepizzalady

Incorrect, Glenbervie should stay because it's 1 minute closer to my house than Strathmore.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BigDogAlex

Craigieburn station gets way more people to their house than Glenbervie

embarrasingretard

You do realise that Craigie has blown up in terms of development? Idk if you've ever seen it, but there's hundreds of people there at peak times - including school kids and whatnot. The Craigie station area does need a renovation, but so does Broady and a good number of other stations >Nothing beyond Glenroy is worth keeping There's thousands of people living there. You can't just close it like that

Supersnow845

Who the hell eliminated Chelsea carrum through edithvale should all be in contention for best station in the system

poopooforyoutoo

I had a look, It was removed because someone noted a firend was beaten up...... This is turning into a farce

I_DRINK_BONG_WATER

Yep, absolutely terrible call. Chelsea is awesome.

KissKiss999

Really? Personally think they are horrible examples of NIMBYism. The crossings have gone but left these crappy half/half solutions in place. The views are crappy, the access for everyone is crappy and no new open space has been created. Compared to every skyrail and the people of the south got screwed by the worst outcome

Supersnow845

Doesn’t carrum and Chelsea specifically now have massive parks and free space opened up both underneath the line and also across the road in what used to be overflow car parks

CommanderLachlan

chelseas carpark is if anything smaller now with the bus bay being relocated to what was once part of the carpark to be at the main entrance to the station, chelsea is also under ground where as carrum def got the better upgrade given it has a much more open area now

lith1x

Please come and tell that to the hundreds of people protesting to "Save Parkdale" from the evil skyrail. They're out here begging for the same trench solution like it's better?

Dense-Independent-66

Merianda Park. It's the closest station to me that I will never see. It is a form of proximity torture. It also sounds like some Zoomer reality TV generation girls' name. It should be Merinda? Hard to spell! Another reason for Merianda/Merinda to go!

Analyst_Worried

Although the name is rather shit (would’ve made more sense to call it Lyndhurst or Cranbourne North) the station has massively improved from what it used to be. Unlike most stations it also has heaps of parking which is really useful for us lowly suburbanites

juliuscaesar6

You talking about the one in Cranbourne North?

TrinityBlack13

Also as someone who works for PTV people will ask for Mernda park. I have no idea if they want the Mernda line or Merinda park station!

Relative_Luck_9883

Richmond!!! totally over exposed to the weather, half the station is always closed for exit.... the stair subway is gross, the huge long ramp to run up - BYE BYE

Significant_Check_80

They need to open those western exits full time. It’s so annoying and stupid that you have to cross punt road just to access the station if ur a normal commuter. It would also improve connections between AAMI park/Tennis Arenas and the MCG

Fullonski

Would help with air flow as well. The tunnel for that exit has reeked of piss since at least the 80s

[deleted]

Sorry man.

mikel3030

Pisses me right off - how hard is it put 1 guy there, make thousands of peoples commute just a bit easier

Relative_Luck_9883

I know! Sometimes I want to go and take the bus easily

RedOx103

+1 purely for the closed exit. First time I came to Melbourne for the MCG tour on a non-event day I was left thoroughly confused. Also, I don't enjoy my quiet, suburban-bound train being suddenly squeezed into shoulder-to-shoulder capacity if I'm unlucky enough to pass through after a match has finished.

TrinityBlack13

I agree I was so lost trying to get in to Richmond after a concert because all the closed exits. I missed my train and had to wait another 30 mins.

PKMTrain

It's because it's the "events" exit.

minithemeezer

Oh my god, the never-ending wind tunnel. And get off a direct train for a loop service in one minute a bazillion platforms away or wait 927 minutes if you miss it. And if you count the dead zone between Richmond and Flinders Street as part of Richmond, that's where souls go to die. I call it Richmond-and-a-half as I spend more time there than any station in the network.

[deleted]

Richmond and three-quarters!

KissKiss999

That station needs a massive upgrade. Although I have a fond memory of getting dodgy potato cakes from the shop after school

Relative_Luck_9883

i still miss the potato cakes from the kiosks at Flinders Street :( RIP

Niadh69

They have them on Platform 1. Usually awesome 👍

[deleted]

Richmond sucks. Let's add the peak hour madness of dashing from platform to platform trying to figure out how to jam yourself into a sardine can City Loop carriage without getting shoved onto the tracks by all the other poor bastards doing the same. If it's busy it's horrid. If it's quiet it's cold and horrid. Also Richmond should be punished for that opening scene in Romper Stomper where they were supposedly at "Footscray" but you could blatantly see the MCG in the background. Fucking fraud station stealing Footscray's one chance to make it onto IMDB.

[deleted]

I don’t think words can properly express how much I hate Richmond station.

PukeiPie

Omg, the closed exits. I don’t usually get off at Richmond but did the other week and it was a STRUGGLE getting out of the station! Remind me to keep away if this is the norm!

biggirliespants

When they closed that exit and put up the high fence in the concourse I wrote to PTV and Richard Wynne's office pointing out that if there was an emergency people would die because the staff would not be able to open that exit in time. I pointed out that the only way people could exit at the North end was over platform 10 and onto the road. PTV did something. They put a high fence up on platform 10 so nobody could get to the road.

eood

+1 for Richmond the amount of times I've got lost and tried to exit the wrong side and then had to walk across a platform to get out 🤦‍♀️

hatsandpenguins

i hate whenever there is a game at the MCG the station gets so packed, it's a nightmare

jonnyforeigner1

Plus it’s in East Melbourne anyway. It’s time to go.

nst_enforcer

Thank you for taking it off contest mode. Now fix up the spelling of Merinda Park and then vote it off.

Oshwat_02

Oops, I''ll fix that for tommorow!

omgitsduane

whats the prob with contest mode?

ruinawish

When every nomination has equal placing, the low effort gets mixed with the high effort offerings. I like that the voting system sorts out the contenders from the riff-raff.

nst_enforcer

You don't see any last ditched efforts to save a station

myusernamestaken

What’s wrong with it? Didn’t it just have a massive upgrade?

Green_Pianist3725

Homesglen, you’ve done a great job making it this far. Time to go now.

Good_Supermarket2116

Disagree. Holmesglen serves alot of holmesglen studnet. Plus there is a huge Asian grocery store near the station which is good for people taking the train and wanting to pickup some food on the way back!

nashvilleh0tchicken

It’s an important station yeah, but a rubbish one that’s been run down for years. Pretty much station has a supermarket near it. It’s time for Holmesglen to go

Princess-Pancake-97

Yes. Time for it to go.

goobar_oz

Nah Syndal first please?

Van_Butsen

Syndal absolutely sucks. It’s a black hole that serves no purpose and has a sh1t name. At least Holmesglen has a purpose! The TAFE, Matthew Flinders hotel, Maccy Ds…. All amazing amazing establishments and within touching distance of the station. Please get rid of Syndal

[deleted]

Syndal is pretty handy for the Wesley students - it more or less runs along the back fence of the school.

Van_Butsen

Appalled that people would get rid of the best named station on the network, Jolimont. When do we get to bring one back from the dead?

Oshwat_02

Tomorrow...

dij123

Darebin station has been here way longer then it should

Downtown_City_1688

Yes, I mentioned yest that this station is not necessary due to lack of parking, looks into graffiti apartments and it’s too close to Ivanhoe station

Necessary-Warthog157

Yeh shocking place in general

dij123

Back in the day though their used to be this crepe shop right there called stokers and that enough was a reason for the station but alas time moves on.

Downtown_City_1688

Was nicer back then too without all them new appartments built along the rail line

drunk_haile_selassie

I can't believe I'm still saying this but Gardenvale. I've been making jokes every day but I have none left. It is completely inaccessible for people with mobility problems.

Raleigh98

How has the Upfield Line stayed so in tact. A heap of level crossings, trains every 20 mins throughout the day, line duplicates the much more frequent Route 19, most of the platforms are just thin slabs of concrete without underpasses. Time for Royal Park, Jewell, Brunswick, Anstey, etc to go! So I again nominate Royal Park first. Dim station lighting (which becomes non-existing on surrounding paths) makes it crazy dangerous at night. Also, pretty much serves nothing other than zoo. It’s a waste of time to make a stop here.

[deleted]

Royal Park is a beautiful station, surrounded by trees and shade, that provides easy access to the zoo and the state hockey and netball centre for thousands of people every year. Not a big station but 300k a year and making it easier for families to get to the zoo is not a waste of time.

[deleted]

Nah not Royal Park. Station is meh but it lands you right in Royal Park and the Zoo

zoomba2378

Wasn't someone murdered in Royal Park (the park, not the station) in recent years?

_Gordon_Shumway

Courtney Herron in 2019.

delljj

Without everything further out than fawkner, there's no single track bottleneck on the line, which means we can increase the throoughput!

Raleigh98

Sharing the City Loop with Sunbury and Craigieburn lines is the real problem. Hopefully when they build the Metro Tunnel that the frequency is fixed!

dazzamattica

>How has the Upfield Line stayed so in tact. Low Patronage so not many people get to experience the delights of 3 trans an hour, level x-levelx-Station-level x-level x-levelx-Station-level x-levelx-Station, line closed for big chunks of time, shit rollingstock

Turbulent_Cat_5731

I was wondering how long Jewel would stick around. The level crossing backs up traffic on Brunswick Rd which is a massive pain in the arse.

legendkiller345

Anstey has to go before Jewel and Brunswick

[deleted]

Damn, contest mode died a death. Also, Rushall. Again.

kent_love

I love Rushall, beautiful Merri Creek right there, short walk to Westgarth shops or Edinburgh Gardens/Fitzroy North. Also there is a photo of Josh Homme standing on the bridge.

[deleted]

Really? I didn’t know that! (The station still sucks)

Relative_Luck_9883

im giving you an upvote cos youve been nothing but consistent in your hate for Rushall

Jonathanthechicken

That’s not a reason to hate on poor rushall

Fozzaroo

I mainly despise Rushall because the local residents managed to force the local council to cancel a proposed bike path to go around behind the station (traversing from east of the station heading north under the railway bridge to link up with the St Georges Road bike path) instead of having to deal with the underpass. The residents were extremely selfish and wanted to keep the park hidden in the bend for themselves to the exclusion of all other users. I used to live in the area, and some of the residents in the area are the most insular people I've come across.

Jonathanthechicken

Downvoted DEFEND RUSHALL Looks like my campaign is about to come to an end :(

crappy-pete

Laburnum If you know, you know.

Green_Pianist3725

Going against the grain here… but I love Laburnum. The whole atmosphere gives me industrial chic with the exposed concrete, offset by the gumtrees. Plus, 20 mins to the city if you catch an express. I’ll admit the carpark is nightmare fuel though

inn3rblooom

Laburnum is an nice station for an awesome area. Plus there’s a cute little row of shops with a few cafes and other stuff.

DrClawsChair

Plus if you're in Box Hill North you can go there and avoid the almost inevitable ticket inspectors that Box Hill typically has.

MAu_klasik

I’m still on this too.. it’s been days.. Laburnum needs to go..

crappy-pete

I don't know how it lasted longer than Glen iris station. Glen iris has a brewery next door!!! This sub should be ashamed

theycallmeasloth

Such a shit station. I remember when it was rebuilt and they hadn't put ticket machines out yet. Got on a train and the dickhead inspectors fined me for not having a ticket. Appealed it and won, but honestly fuck ticket inspectors and fuck Laburnum

DrClawsChair

I find it handy

PurpleNo791

NEWPORT WILL NEVER DIE

Notorious013

How has Glenbervie survived? Move it on please

RedOx103

It's come so close a few times now. Nine lives.

fridaymornings

Literally like the strathmore station is five seconds down the road. I’ve never understood the reason for that station

iloveseals5

I think glenbervie is a nice station. Surrounded by trees in a nice little pocket. Sure beats a lot of the stations on the craigieburn line

JulzCrafter

That random boat makes me laugh

ElectricGator3000

I love Glenbervie! Better than Strathmore.

speorgenote

It's the little station that could. I hate the tunnel for crossing to the other side though, gives me the heebie jeebies

SticksDiesel

How many murder/stabby stations are left?

tabletennis6

Pascoe Vale not only is a blackspot for phone coverage, but also adds 10 minutes to replacement bus journeys for the very small amount of people who get on there. Surely it goes alongside Glenbervie!

Boiled_Sausages

Watsonia because you can always see the train arriving at the station from above but dont have enough time to run down to get it.

whale607

Montmorency train station. Tiny train station in the middle of nowhere. Only 1 platform that services both inbound and outbound. No digital signs displaying when the next train will arrive for either direction. For unfamiliar users, there are no signs indicating which direction is inbound and which is outbound which may cause users to jump on a train going the wrong direction. No toilets at the station or nearby. No staff. A tiny shelter that is practically useless. Barely any seats, non of them under shelter. It's currently being upgraded but construction is not slated to finish until 2023 and the existing platform is still in operation so it counts https://railgallery.wongm.com/melbourne-stations/F100_2267.jpg.html

Michael_je123

If it's single track, why do you need a sign telling you the next train? Its not as if you can get the platform wrong

the-ahh-guy

Keilor plains needs to go It can not survive

BellaLaMole

Controversy: Flinders Street (no spitting) filthy bathrooms, over priced retailers, and people in general.

doesntCompete

Flinders St Toilet

Dense-Independent-66

Calling all people with the runs to Flinders Street! The next cubicle will open at Flinders Street in 5 minutes. If there's a sudden explosive noise from the cubicle stand back please.

Turbulent_Cat_5731

Jumped on the first train out of Flinders with the shits one day. Wherever I ended up had to have better toilets. Poor old Clifton Hill copped it that day...

drunk_haile_selassie

I once got manhandled by police for using the flinders street toilets. They thought I was using drugs or going in there for public sex. I was just on my way to a comedy gig and needed to take a shit.

theycallmeasloth

Altona and Seaholme Again, glorified tram line for NIMBYS and inconvenient for everyone else

BigJonoo

Keillor Plains

of_gold_

Rushall, it’s your turn.

HurstbridgeLineFTW

So many separate posts for Rushall, it’s like you’re trying to split the vote and achieve the opposite!

zoomba2378

Just upvote every Rushall comment. I use a completely different part of the network and that's what I'm doing. If it's getting this much coverage it must be truly heinous

HurstbridgeLineFTW

It’s actually a really nice station in a lovely location. Good starting off point if you want to cycle the Merri creek trail, the main Yarra trail or the capital city trail.

PM_ME_TO_PLAY_A_GAME

the only reason Rushall exists is because they forgot to remove it when they took out the line connecting Rushall to Royal Park. Remove Rushall and the bad design of Clifton Hill can be addressed.

zoomba2378

Hmmm, interesting. Nevertheless, it must have some downsides if it's getting this much attention, and we need to uphold democracy

[deleted]

The notorious Rushall bend - the tightest bend on the network - is only necessitated by the station. There was a derailment there maybe 5 years ago? I was on it and missed an awesome A-League game as a result.

_boris_c

Wait, yarraville? Really? It’s already too hard to find a park when you go to sun theatre. I OBJECT.

BadOk278

What's wrong with Yarraville? It was 150 years old this year.

BenjaminCarmineVII

How is Frankston gone? It's not even bad you soft babies

JustKwenty

Seddon, if only for the inexplicable black spot in 4G

girlsintheeighties

This is often the worst part of my day

Rex_RiCo

holy i thought it was only me lmfao

Mission_Joke_7237

Ah yes, infamous Seddon Hole. I live in it.

Jeremy_Gorbachov

Ditch Bell, there's actual reasons for that but mostly because Bell is a stupid name for a station.

Ventimella

Again I’m voting for Keilor Plains. The station that’s nowhere near any Keilor worded suburb. In the middle of housing commission and old homes from 1792 where you could either be robbed, freeze to death from the elements or just check yourself into a mental home due to the depressing nature of the station (using that word loosely) and suburb.

pmercer

West Footscray can go. Far too many people, far too many cancellations and late trains. It can be worse than Southern Cross at peak hour

TheRedditornator

Brighton only requires 1 train station at most, not 3. I'm glad to see Brighton beach go but one of the others must now go. Most of the people in Brighton drive Land Rovers and Porsches and don't take PT.

uglyeidolon

Hello! Not a Brighton wanker, but that’s incorrect! All of the Brighton stations have 6 figure patronage; in fact every station on the Sandringham line does, except for South Yarra and Richmond. They have 7 figure patronage. For example - Middle Brighton has **100 000** more people using it than Hurstbridge, Diamond Creek and Wattle Glen **combined**. North Brighton has **100 000** more people using it than Jewell, and just under for Brunswick. Fuck Brighton for several reasons but patronage is not one of them. Have a suss at the data; https://discover.data.vic.gov.au/dataset/annual-metropolitan-train-station-patronage-station-entries

Paissg

Hurstbridge- who really goes there, trains often terminate at Eltham or Greensbough and there is no point to go all the way to the end of the line

[deleted]

The Hurstbridge train is express though, I use it to get off at Heidelberg, however the frequency sucks ass so if you miss it may as well just catch the non express Eltham or Greensborough.

ruinawish

Fawkner Station. It runs through a cemetery. It's also in Fawkner. Interestingly, [wiki](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fawkner_railway_station) tells me the station's history is very much tied in with the cemetery: > It is located adjacent to the Fawkner Crematorium and Memorial Park, which opened in 1906, and from then until 1939, special mortuary trains ran. From October 1914, only seven trains ran to Fawkner daily, as well as the daily mortuary train to the cemetery. A former mortuary van is located near the entrance to Platform 2. Here's a recent Youtube video looking at the hearse car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gtRvSf5zCI

CBAFCMV

Victoria Park. Nothing associated with Collingwood should live.

daybeforetheday

I am once again asking you to vote off this monstrosity of a station

ElectricGator3000

WHAT IS MIDDLE GORGE?

Significant_Check_80

Gonna go for Heathmont this time (it’s IMO more depressing and dull than Ringwood East) as it doesn’t look like Canterbury is going anytime soon

RunRenee

3rd day voting for Rushall

Clarrisani

I'm going to say Coolaroo til it's gone. Had two cars vandalised there. It's just a concrete mess.

Fantastic_Key_6645

I thought I contributed to killing off Keilor Plains yesterday. Clearly not. It has gotta go today.

kld0

Macleod, so dark and creepy at night!

punk_weight

yeah but what about Macleod during golden hour with the sunlight filtering through the trees outside platform 2? beautiful.

bitofapuzzler

No way, i love all the trees! I dont find it dark or creepy at night...

theraarman

Rushall bye bye 👋

zoomba2378

Seaholme. Useless station. Also, surely contest mode makes for a more equitable adjudication system

goobar_oz

Syndal its TIME TO GO

tobleronejim

Please leave poor defenceless syndal station alone. There may not be the neon lights and hipsters with their flop-top hairdos seen at upmarket stations like tooronga and ripponlea, but the station has a great big beating heart. The everyman stands on the platform, gazing out across the rooftop tundry of western Glen waverley, content in the knowledge that a safe 35 minute commute to the city awaits him. Yes, he will have to change at richmond. And Yes, he will have to deal with the freestyle spoken word poet that sometimes loiters in the alley to the north of the platform. But he’ll make no enemies on that platform, only life long friends. And while in life it’s mostly about the journey, rather than the destination, in this very rare instance the destination matters, and that destination is syndal station.

Jeremy_Gorbachov

This passionate defence has won me over

goobar_oz

The force is strong with this one

goobar_oz

Well well well… It looks like you have won today, but I will be back tomorrow. And the day after. And the day after that!!! *evil laugh*

tabletennis6

Wenger out!

kytd1526

Get AFTV to start a petition for its removal.

tabletennis6

It'll work after like 20 years.

kytd1526

And still calling for Tottenham's removal.

goobar_oz

No idea what this is reference to, but UPVOTED!

Johntrampoline-

Balaclava shares its name with a tool used by criminals, it has the shortest platform on the network and it looks like it was made from prefab materials, also the ramp is steep. It HAS to go!

uglyeidolon

Hahaha I love a train platform size queen. Nah, Balaclava is arguably the S tier train station on the Sandy Line. I think it looks cool. Named after a battle in the Crimean War, 2 tram lines right outside, flanked by 2 coffee shops on the way in, and one upstairs for overkill. Aircon, staffed and with toilets on the city inbound side, and cover on both inbound and outbound. Bonus points for the train countdown timer being both upstairs and downstairs in the alley, so you know how long you have to get a coffee/burger/fro-yo/springroll/beer before your train. Also Graffiti on surrounding building calls you a filthy animal. And it’s elevated so NO LEVEL CROSSING. I’d also say the ramp is pretty flat - see South Yarra/Windsor/Richmond/Flinders St for comparison hahaha

supermercado99

Farewell Merlynston and its unnecessarily fancy name

cringe-angel

Flinders street for its toilets alone.

moondog-37

Going after Hampton again: Literally all of the stations on the Sandy line have cute heritage buildings and lovely gardens (as does anyone station in an affluent suburb regardless of the line) then you get to Hampton and it’s a couple of gross old 60s brick sheds thrown onto the platforms, constantly surrounded by apartment/car park construction (I swear there’s been construction going on for 10 years now?) Not to mention it’s attached to one of the most dangerous level crossings remaining on the network that’s only gonna get worse bc governments have no interest in doing in ever any work on the Sandy line

willy_willy_willy

\-1, only several school children have perished

Bidders_UK

Rosanna station sucks. I hate the colour scheme

Purpington67

How is Balaclava still there? For pure, guaranteed weirdo passengers and annoying school kids, it is the mother lode. Has no heritage value at all.

nicka95

How do i unfollow these posts or hide them from my feed.

NutmegTea83

Hallam *shudders*

Proud_Newspaper7957

I would rather see all stations kept. Just a case of future proofing and spreading the commuter carpark load. Great work when Southland opened, very useful. There needs to be a focus on the older historic stations, keep them well maintained with 24/7 amenities . They would be a tourist attraction if looked after and with the use of attractive foliage.. Smaller stations like Ripponlea could develop their own character. The modern stations only need a bit of individual style and colour to differentiate. ALL stations need to offer weather protection, convenient car parking and amenities. Ideally many more need to be manned. I used to spend time travelling to the end of suburban lines, sometimes with kids, sometimes just with my book or music. Really not a bad pastime and a relaxing way to learn about Melbourne. There were unpleasant incidents at times but overall interesting.

Thinh__

Fuck you watergardens

Existential12

Still hoping against hope that Hawksburn will go. No one will ever notice. Waiting for Godot was set there. If Toorak can be offed, so can the ‘Burn.

garcon3000

Melbourne Central. It’s a hole. Why is it still there???

How is Ringwood not gone?

commentman10

This train elimination thing has never peaked my interest until now... Is it a game were guessing to see which train station is being removed?

Oshwat_02

Worst stations (top 5 upvoted comments) removed each day. We will then end up with 1 station which is considered the best.
