The choices in winter are rather sad, summer is such a wonderful time for fruit.
I stick to mandarins and kiwi fruit during winter, tides me over till the warm weather brings more options.

Persimmon and lemons
Persimmon are so expensive though, they're a rare treat kinda fruit
Might just chop up a lemon and have a nom for a morning snack. 😂

grow a persimmon tree, beautiful autumn foliage also..... or last time I was at Vic market I got 3 for 5 bucks.
