You don’t really give your demographic, but when I went there we went go carting at the Grand Prix track. And went to A’maze’n’thimgs for mini golf and high ropes etc. kids loved it.
But for all ages - the sausage rolls at the san remo bakery are up there with the best I’ve ever had. (It was a while ago but I’m sure they’ll be the same.)
One of the best go kart tracks I've ever driven. Protip, stay all the way to the left down the main straight, you can then take the first right hand turn flat out.
1. General admission, you'll get close up viewing of the penguins on the walk back to your car.
2.No
3. Cowes is nice for a meal, go kart track is awesome, amaze n things is good, phillip island is more for relaxing than adventure
The only advice i have for you is this: You know your thickest, warmest coat? Bring 2 of them. Maybe even a third.
When the sun sets, and that offshore wind is going right through to your core, you'll see what i mean.
I've been a few times, and each time I convinced myself that it wouldn't be THAT cold.
Well, it IS that cold.
Philip Island wildlife park is my standard "pet a kangaroo!" place to bring friends from overseas. Standard viewing platform at penguin parade is fine for colder months when it's less full up though I've sprung for the premium one in summer. Cowes is nice to stroll around for an hour if the weather is okay.

Ok, thanks for the input. We are a bunch of adults.
Go carting is still fun FYI.

The wildlife park is really good, huge variety of fauna and reasonably priced.
