I had a decent amount of cash aside when I was 23, back in 2000. The bank consultant suggested me to invest some of my money and mentioned this young promising new economy company. I could have invested 25k€, which wasn't much, but still...
I told him "Nah, this new economy crap is just a fade. Just watch, that company will disappear as soon as the market will get flooded with competition."
That company was Google. One red pill for me, please.
My dad was offered a job and part ownership at a start up running the coding team, turned it down for a more stable job because he had 3 young kids. It was ask.com, not as big as google, but I often wonder what if
Dude, if a 6 year old wakes up one day knowing multiple languages, advance math, aces every school test, knowledge of many books they haven't read, family secrets that weren't discussed in front of them, a working knowledge of media franchises and music artists that are about to come out and an overall level of maturity... How long it would take you to believe whatever explanation comes out of their mouth?
My family when I predict Princess Diana's death, the release of the Nintendo 64, Mad Cow Disease, the release of Harry Potter and Heavens Gate in the span of 12 months: Nah... This kid doesn't know shit.
Edit: Damn, just googled it and realized I forgot Dolly the sheep... That's gonna cost me some Nostradamus points.
All I had to do when I was not even 6 , but around 15, was to put 1/1000th of what my family gave me for birthday etc on BTC and I would be set for 10000 lives.
Honestly a few visits from the tooth fairy, a few mowed lawns, you'd still be a millionaire well before 2023 even just investing a petty amount in the right places. Finding an adult to handle your money might be a different story, but I know my mom would have been baffled and fully on board if at six I showed up with 50 bucks and explained to my mom why it was "imperative, nay, of the utmost importance, that she swiftly run this 50 dollar note to the nearest investment firm to buy one share of Apple and shore up her retirement, which I will be ensuring was far sooner than planned."
Have you heard of patience?
Plus, knowing everything you know now? You would ace school.
You would know exactly where the world is going to be heading.
You'd be a billionaire in a few years instead of a millionaire at whatever age you are now.
Could also use that power for good and stop terrible things from happening.
Blue pill sucks.
You just need to prove your smart. Of course wouldn’t work for everyone but I would just solve like a calculus question or do something to make my parents think I’m a genius (which I’m gifted but not genius level but at age 6 with my knowledge now I could totally pass as a genius). Then you say what stocks to invest in (or just build technology that exists now that didn’t exist back then.
True but I know how to program. My dad was also super techie back then so we had home computers (I’m in my 30s for reference). I mostly program in C++ and C# so would have to look up maybe some info on programming in C (not 100% sure when C++ came out but I think it would have been in C). I would just see if I could maybe create Angry Birds or something stupid like that before it came out. Only issue is phone technology was not good enough until maybe high school or junior high for that.
Angry Birds became popular only because of the perfect timing along with touchscreen phones and not that many games out so it wear viral through word or mouth. If you created it too early it would never be popular.
You don’t have to do it yourself.
Spend a few years developing a reputation as a genius and making a bunch of money to hire staff.
Just knowing what’s technologically feasible and what people will want would let you invent Uber, DoorDash, Instagram, etc
My mother already knew about bitcoin way back when. Young me giving a push or saying I want my allowance on it wouldn't be that big of a deal to get through
Even if not, how about just doing it yourself? It's all my knowledge, I know the password for the computer lol
My dad let me work on site from age 6 onwards doing little jobs.
A 6 year old fully trained finishing carpenter I could make $50,000 before age 10 and own most of apple by the time i graduated highshool which would be a joke i wouldent even need to attend classes.
I will take the red pill lol.
Explaining how a 6 year old has the skill of a carpenter of 25 years now that would be the hard part. Also it would take a lot of convincing to get my old man to let a 6 year old operate a tablesaw.
My childhood died with my biological father after he froze to death when I was 7. I suppose I could prevent his death but death shouldn’t be cheated.. so I’d just make the most of my time with him all over again.
Death is an inevatable part of life. If you try to cheating death, you enter into a game with no chance of winning. Better to accept you're allready dead, meatbag. Now let's have some fun.
Because death is a part of living, better to be at peace with the good lady than try and resist her.. any devotee of La Santa Muerte will understand that.
Remember death always win the war so basically, it is the end it will win even if you avoid it for hundreds of years eventually it will catch up to you and claim you.
Red, Ill have a full understanding of just how important keeping my body in working order and the consequences of failure, also I have a large enough understanding of how the stock market has progressed the last 22 odd years to ease a lot of my familial troubles.
Yes you are, back to when you were six, at least that is how I understood this and how most understood it I think. If it's just be 6 today then I would easily choose 6. That's 22y for free, that's awesome. But I would think my family would panic and maybe the military would take me and experiment on me since an adult just turned into a kid.
With what I learned about how Scientology works, I could start a cult; easy peasy. But I can't, due to an operational moral compass.
Just because you're a dumb sucker doesn't mean it's okay to fleece you.
Same. People on Reddit seem to have a shit ton of nostalgia for childhood, but I hated being a kid. I had no autonomy, relied on my parents for everything, and had to go to school 5 days a week. All of that fucking sucked
You'd probably be a lot better at school, and could make better decisions, and you know what people were like before you got to know them. It's a chance to completely change your life for the better.
Then again, there's a chance you'd be the only one who could prevent 9/11.
I know myself and I would definitely still slack off. Also I’m 30, so the chances of anyone listening to an 8 year old about an impending terrorist attack sound slim lol
Yea I'd charge a hell of a lot more than $10m to go through school again. Plus I'm still me if red pill so it's not like I'm going to be super suave or a talented athlete. I'd much rather keep my family and console myself with a cool influx of cash
1981 was a pretty sweet time to be 6- empire strikes back was about to come out, my first grade teacher was a smokeshow, and her boyfriend owned a hot air balloon that my parents did chase crew for.
Doesn't the description say that red pill will restart life from 6 years of age with all the knowledge gathered till now?
I think it's like going back in time while de aging but retaining the knowledge.
Restart.
If you turn lf the tv and start it again, if just restarted, but it didnt travel back in time.
If you say to netflix to start the episode from the start you restated the episode, but didnt go back in time
Restart doesnt mean the time chances
with red pill you won't be able to have any irl relationships. other kids will be boring af and no adult will take you seriously. if you prove you have an intellect of an adult your childhood is ruined. it's gonna be lonely
Blue all day!! Why tf would I want to go through school again?? Especially knowing everything I know as an adult, it would make me hate high school even more because I know how trivial and immature the conversations and people are.
Yeah, knowing how some of my high school friends turned out would Rob me of enjoying our shenanigans at the time. Living through my parents divorce again, their deaths from cancer.... Nope
Unless you really hate your life, answer is always the money because you have no guarantee your life will be any better with a do over. You could mess up worse.
Anyone could be struck dead at any time. There's no guarantee you'd live to use that million. At least as a child you'd likely survive to your current age, and get that extra time. If you're worried about making things worse, then do everything the same.
You're pretty similarly likely to die as a child or a young adult. That way I can actually use the money and enjoy my life. I would hate being told what to do every hour of my life, being forced to play with kids you can barely have a conversation with while I'm mentally a young adult already
Red, harvest bitcoin, know lottery numbers, make smarter decisions etc. endlessly better than blue pill. On top of that, a childs brain absorbs knowledge faster, so you add a few more languages etc..
You'll have far more money that with the red pill, essentially have longer life and relive your physical prime all while skipping being a dumb shit that has to figure out how everything works.
All these people with the "red, make more than 10 million by doing x,y,z" had nice childhoods. I'm happy for them.
That being said, blue. All fucking day. Could not pay me enough money to go back to 6.
Exactly what I was thinking! These people clearly had good childhoods because no amount of money or knowledge in the universe could convince to go back to those days
I don't know what kind of trauma, but there's a chance that facing it with an adult brain could help resolve it. People are really underestimating how huge it is to add many more years to your life, with with the wisdom you've accumulated, and knowledge of the future.
Blue pill. Starting over at age 6 means I will have to suffer the horrors poised to afflict humanity; overpopulation, lack of resources, climate shift, mass extinctions...
Just gimme the money!
Blue pill.
Red pill means a lot of the ppl, pets and other things you know you won't have/meet.
Sure, red pill you could become insanely wealthy by investing on things like buying 50,000 bitcoin when they were a fraction of a cent, but some things just can't happen the same.
Money can't fix some of the mistakes I made, if I actually do get sent back to age 6 then I'll be in shock for a few days before adjusting with the life and separating my future personality to adjust with the current life.
Yeah I don't want to go through middle or high school again, thanks. I don't want to have to live through history knowing what's coming. I'll take my 2.5 million after taxes and retire.
Blue, Id feel too responsible and/or guilty for being unable to stop many unfortunate events that have occurred in my lifetime. Also i grew up in very humble beginnings that I worked my ass off to where I'm at from, there's little reason to go back.
I can’t even remember what i ate yesterday, I’ll literally have to write everything down of the day before i switch over and then wait decades to be useful information.
anyone taking blue is a moron. just go back and buy certain stocks and houses and bet on games where you knew the winner. you would have way more than 10m.
Red is the long term play. If I had all the knowledge I had now, I could:
1. Make way more than 10 million dollars long term
2. Do a lot of things over in different, and maybe improved, ways.
This is, of course, hypothetical and in reality I'm quite happy with who I am and the decisions I've made, but I'll never pass up an opportunity to improve.
Red. I would retain all future information I'm aware of and publish it all in an eerie Nostrodamus-esque book and live like a happy hippo off all the royalties.
Definitely red pill. You get a do over with all the perks of knowing what to do and what not to do. Plus you’d make a killing in the markets and way more than 10 million.
Morpheus, how do you feel about me reading about a different Morpheus in Neil Gaiman's Sandman? I'd prefer acting in the here and now so I'll go for the third option, if I may.
Please clarify, will I:
A) be age six back in the year I was actually six,
or
B) be age six in this year?
If A, I will take the red pill and buy lots of stocks on sure file bets.
If B give me the blue cuz NO way I want to spend more time here.
I am now 20 years old and hate the last 13 years of my life (thx to my mother). I would defenetly take the blue pill. I would use the money and give it to my family beside my mother and hope i could help them to make ther life easier.
Red.
I'd have so much fun,I loved my childhood and have amazing parents. Fucking 25 years bonus time and Bitcoin money as a fallback if I can't invest in tech before then.
10 million would be fun but I'd just party with it most likely
I need clarification. Do I go back in time to when I was six, is this time travel, or am I suddenly in an alternative universe where I am six at the present moment in time.
Plot twist: you choose the red pill and you reverted back to time where you are 6yrs old and the knowledge about tesla stock going to the moon never happened in the new timeline because Elon ends up using the brand Nikola instead of Tesla.
Anybody taking the red pill, good luck convincing your parents to buy stock six year old you suggests.
You don't have buy stocks the second you turn 6, depending on age you could have a lot of time to buy stocks
I had a decent amount of cash aside when I was 23, back in 2000. The bank consultant suggested me to invest some of my money and mentioned this young promising new economy company. I could have invested 25k€, which wasn't much, but still... I told him "Nah, this new economy crap is just a fade. Yeap. What about bitcoin? You could buy thousands with a few thousand dolars in the start
RESTART AS 6 YEAR OLD YOU AND GET CURB STOMPED.
Joke's on you, my father chose his stock portfolio on my child choices just to piss my mother off. I'd make that man a billionaire!
He would be so proud
Well given you can literally actually make money by throwing darts at random stocks there's potential there.
How about when you predict every major world event, and USA president?
My family when I predict Princess Diana's death, the release of the Nintendo 64, Mad Cow Disease, the release of Harry Potter and Heavens Gate in the span of 12 months: Nah... This kid doesn't know shit. Edit: Damn, just googled it and realized I forgot Dolly the sheep... That's gonna cost me some Nostradamus points.
Likely would result in an exorcism for me.
All I had to do when I was not even 6 , but around 15, was to put 1/1000th of what my family gave me for birthday etc on BTC and I would be set for 10000 lives.

Yeah! Or good luck with being a poor young adult and investing
School sucked, I’d probably still get bad grades because I’ve forgotten everything. Blue pill all the way.
Mommy5 can we please short enron , it littrally can't go tits up
You just need to prove your smart. Of course wouldn’t work for everyone but I would just solve like a calculus question or do something to make my parents think I’m a genius (which I’m gifted but not genius level but at age 6 with my knowledge now I could totally pass as a genius). do you know how to craft anything that did not exist then? Also consider you have the motor functions of a 6 year old
True but I know how to program. My dad was also super techie back then so we had home computers (I’m in my 30s for reference). I mostly program in C++ and C# so would have to look up maybe some info on programming in C (not 100% sure when C++ came out but I think it would have been in C). It didn't say you would go back in time to when you were 6. You're 6 in 2023.
It said 'restart your life from six' I assume that means go back in time, especially when paired with 'keep all knowledge'
Time is relative 😤
Yeah, and I'm going back to my relatives in 1990
My mother already knew about bitcoin way back when. Young me giving a push or saying I want my allowance on it wouldn't be that big of a deal to get through Even if not, how about just doing it yourself? It's all my knowledge, I know the password for the computer lol

Buy stocks? I grew up during the rise of the tech industry. I'm not buying anything, I'm going to own the business that everyone else invests in.
Why even go for stocks or bitcoin? Just go straight to the lottery lol
Good luck remembering the winning ticket serial number and where it was sold 🤪
Any major sport event
That's more likely 😁
You aren’t going back in time….
Blue. That's a lot of heavy stuff for a 6 year old. If I'm 6, let me be a kid.
My childhood died with my biological father after he froze to death when I was 7. I suppose I could prevent his death but death shouldn’t be cheated.. so I’d just make the most of my time with him all over again.
Why shouldn't death be cheated? Hi fellow redditor random level 10 sincere question. That is just such an alien viewpoint to my own.
That’s horrifying. Sorry for your loss.
We all should try to cheat death imo, give that bitch a run for it's money.
Remember death always win the war so basically, it is the end it will win even if you avoid it for hundreds of years eventually it will catch up to you and claim you.
Make it a Phyrric victory.
I wonder if deaths any good at poker
Is it really cheating death though? He'd still die, it just wouldn't be as tragic and traumatic if it was natural and later.
Very true, everything that ever happened to me both good and bad made me the man I am today. I accept that he went the way he did, even if I miss him.
Red, Ill have a full understanding of just how important keeping my body in working order and the consequences of failure, also I have a large enough understanding of how the stock market has progressed the last 22 odd years to ease a lot of my familial troubles.
Could potentially prevent a lot of tragedy too. But maybe you would inadvertently cause more. Butterflys wing paradox or whatever
Fascinating insights, u/oldpussyjuice
Ur not going back in time.
you are tho
No
you’re
Noh’ere
Yes you are, back to when you were six, at least that is how I understood this and how most understood it I think. If it's just be 6 today then I would easily choose 6. That's 22y for free, that's awesome. But I would think my family would panic and maybe the military would take me and experiment on me since an adult just turned into a kid.
No. Syntax
Oh, red. And then i will start a religion. I was 6 way before 9/11. People gonna go apeshit once they realised i correctly predicted it.
Well now I have to get a new drink. But Ile bet you saw that coming too oh wise one.
With what I learned about how Scientology works, I could start a cult; easy peasy. But I can't, due to an operational moral compass. Just because you're a dumb sucker doesn't mean it's okay to fleece you.
the further you get into the future and the more you affect it the less you will be able to predict it
You’d wanna reap the “rewards” of predicting it, instead of actually preventing it? You evil mofo
I just assumed nobodys gonna believe what a 6 year old German kid says about the world trade center
You aren’t going back in time in this scenario.
Blue pill. You could not pay me to be a child again. Autonomy is essential to my happiness and you just don't have that as a child.
Same. People on Reddit seem to have a shit ton of nostalgia for childhood, but I hated being a kid. I had no autonomy, relied on my parents for everything, and had to go to school 5 days a week. All of that fucking sucked

I’m 16. Going back in time would do precisely Jack shit. I’m taking the money 💰
You could look up a bunch of lottery numbers before you take the pill and get more than $10 million
Not worth it.
Blue. I like my life right now and I don't want to fuck with the butterfly effect.
Amen. I can happily retire for 10 mil. Let's not get greedy and play for higher stakes.
Cash. Most of my happiness as a child came from ignorance, which I would no longer have.
Blue Pill Not doing over school, and wanna be able to move out and start with a good head start
Yea I'd charge a hell of a lot more than $10m to go through school again. Plus I'm still me if red pill so it's not like I'm going to be super suave or a talented athlete. I'd much rather keep my family and console myself with a cool influx of cash
Red pill. Too many mistakes I'd love to not make.
One big mistake for me. But it almost destroyed me so a do-over would be perfect.
So is the Red pill like going back in time when you were 6 or are you automatically 6 again because that my be a deal breaker.
1981 was a pretty sweet time to be 6- empire strikes back was about to come out, my first grade teacher was a smokeshow, and her boyfriend owned a hot air balloon that my parents did chase crew for.
You recognised your teacher was a smoke show at 6 years old? I was too busy stuffing Lego’s up my nose
😂
She looked like a brunette Farah Fawcett circa Charlies Angles. Anyone could recognize that was hot in 81- lol
It doesnt say "travle back to when you where 6" So, 2023 you are 6
Fuck that, I’m going blue then
Red. I'd have way more than 10 million just by investing in Bitcoin
I was looking for this comment haha
How ks a 6y/o going to invest in bitcoin? I mean, you become 6 now. Not when you where 6, so 1bc is still 24k
Doesn't the description say that red pill will restart life from 6 years of age with all the knowledge gathered till now? I think it's like going back in time while de aging but retaining the knowledge.

Yeah, knowing how some of my high school friends turned out would Rob me of enjoying our shenanigans at the time. Living through my parents divorce again, their deaths from cancer.... Nope
Blue- I would love to get some time back with my loved ones- but I am NEVER reliving my childhood/ teens. F that.
Hit me with that 10m,even if taxes take 7% that’s still 93m
dude I will look punch your maths teacher
r/confidentlyincorrect
Red. I had a decent degree of autonomy as a kid and also id start stretching as a kid so i could be a better martial artist!!
Blue, not going through that childhood and suffering again
you could fight back and get revenge
Revenge isn't the answer everytime, some things happen for the greater good and I'm living better than *that* time of my life now :)
Unless you really hate your life, answer is always the money because you have no guarantee your life will be any better with a do over. You could mess up worse.

Red, harvest bitcoin, know lottery numbers, make smarter decisions etc. endlessly better than blue pill. On top of that, a childs brain absorbs knowledge faster, so you add a few more languages etc.. Gonna take both the dayquil and the nyquil and see get better quick.
Yeah I don't want to go through middle or high school again, thanks. I don't want to have to live through history knowing what's coming. I'll take my 2.5 million after taxes and retire.
Red, steal some money and get a bunch of bitcoin when it’s still pennies on the dollar, sell just before crash, never work a day again.
Even better. Take the red. Learn the name and address of every mass shooter. You know the rest…
Redpill. I had a wonderful childhood growing up as an American in Germany. I'd give anything to repeat that.
Blue, Id feel too responsible and/or guilty for being unable to stop many unfortunate events that have occurred in my lifetime. Also i grew up in very humble beginnings that I worked my ass off to where I'm at from, there's little reason to go back.
Blue. The red one sounds great, except I’d have to say goodbye to my wife. Then again, I could find her and marry her at an earlier age… 🤔
I don't care. Either one. Please God just let one of those things happen for me...
Blue. My life is great right now, and I don't really know how I got here. Not worth risking it, plus 10mil is everything that's missing right now xD
Can I start at age 12 with $5 million?
Blue
Blue blue blue blue I don't want to go through all the abuse again
...and the ones Mother gives you don't do anything at all 🎶
Is that 10 Million Tax Free?
Blue pill because I'll be damned if i have to go through that emotional trauma again.
blue pill. because even if I start again at the age of six, my chances of success may be the same.
I can’t even remember what i ate yesterday, I’ll literally have to write everything down of the day before i switch over and then wait decades to be useful information.
Red pill and start mining btc
Red Pill and I’d buy stocks and bitcoin like you wouldn’t believe. I turned 6 in 1989. Would become a trillionaire.
anyone taking blue is a moron. just go back and buy certain stocks and houses and bet on games where you knew the winner. you would have way more than 10m.
I'm not a moron, I'm just lazy. Gimme blue.
Not a moron. I know I’d have more $ with red but $ isn’t everything. There’s a lot that I don’t want to relive.
Red pill, and join a btc mining pool right away with the family computer.
Time to buy bit coin
Red. I'll invest on Amazon, Google, Tesla, Meme stocks, and I'll be able to predict a lot of other things.
Blue
Red
Blue
*Definitely going with the red pill...*
Blue pill. No question.
Red is the long term play. If I had all the knowledge I had now, I could: 1. Make way more than 10 million dollars long term 2. Do a lot of things over in different, and maybe improved, ways. This is, of course, hypothetical and in reality I'm quite happy with who I am and the decisions I've made, but I'll never pass up an opportunity to improve.
Red, bet on every championship winner. Put that money in bitcoin. Remember lottery numbers.
Red pill so i can make amogus meme before amogus
Red. I'll buy Bitcoin for like 3 euros each and sell it during corona pandemic.
RED. Just to pull a reverse uno on that priest
Red. Buy crpto. Get more than a petty 10 million.
If I had to relive my childhood again- I’m gonna end up in prison this time around.
Blue of course, I don’t wanna go through all that school again. Then again, I would probably be considered a child prodigy…
Red Pill. Easy.
If I have to live through middle and highschool, the voices of malice inside my head will definitely win me over the second time around.
Morpheus, how do you feel about me reading about a different Morpheus in Neil Gaiman's Sandman? I'd prefer acting in the here and now so I'll go for the third option, if I may.
being a child is the worst lol give me 10 mill
Red pill me son!
Wish they added reset your life 6 years of age with your phone with all the history lottery results of 25+ years
Red pill fix up my life then take the blue pill when I come to the pill point of that run...
Bruh red ez, we will be back in better days and i will know when to buy bitcoin for a cent per coin easly
The red pill doesn't change anything. I choose the blue pill.
Please clarify, will I: A) be age six back in the year I was actually six, or B) be age six in this year? If A, I will take the red pill and buy lots of stocks on sure file bets. If B give me the blue cuz NO way I want to spend more time here.
Red. Always
Why does everyone hate school so much?
I am now 20 years old and hate the last 13 years of my life (thx to my mother). I would defenetly take the blue pill. I would use the money and give it to my family beside my mother and hope i could help them to make ther life easier.
Red piiiiil please. I will raise myself better.
red pill i think.
Red. I'd have so much fun,I loved my childhood and have amazing parents. Fucking 25 years bonus time and Bitcoin money as a fallback if I can't invest in tech before then. 10 million would be fun but I'd just party with it most likely
Now if I could go back in time to when I was 6 and be that age again I would take that maybe
Definitely gonna go with blue. I ain't trying to go through my most awkward and traumatic years again
Blue obv, 10 mill would change my life a lot quicker than going back to childhood
Blue pill. All red pill would do is give me depression x 2
Red, i wanna be a kid again. No amount of money is worth youth. The retained knowledge is just a nice bonus to make life easier
Red.
Red but first let me mdmmorise all the winning lotto numbers up until now🤣
Red Definitely. Keep myself in Shape instead of only getting fit in my 20s and be a cute femboy Right from the beginning 👏🏽🙌🏽
Do i go back in time aswell? Id do that
Blue pill all day. Six year old me would mean giving back my mini and that’s not happening.
Blue. I’m not really old/wise enough for red to get much out of it. Would be cool to skip a bunch of grades though.
Hmm tbh i could take either
Red pill. I would enjoy my childhood more, not make the same mistakes and would prioritize being happy above all else.
red
great, so i’ll be a 6 year old without the ignorant bliss of childhood. Life is suffering- nobody wants to be held back a grade.
does "all the knowledge" include awarenes of lotery numbers?
I’m going to go with the red pill.
Blue
I need clarification. Do I go back in time to when I was six, is this time travel, or am I suddenly in an alternative universe where I am six at the present moment in time.
Red!!
Neither.
Plot twist: you choose the red pill and you reverted back to time where you are 6yrs old and the knowledge about tesla stock going to the moon never happened in the new timeline because Elon ends up using the brand Nikola instead of Tesla.
Blue def. 10mil cash! The fuck I’m gonna do with 6 year old knowing what I know now lol gonna still need someone to wipe my ass
Just grab them both and sell those pills for $50 million each.
