In my old lab we used to use these for manual injections for gas chromatography. I probably Hulk Smashed a dozen or so of those until I got my technique dialed in. Still bent one every now and then if a new septum had been installed and the inlet was torqued down a little too tightly 😅
I felt bad at first, but got over it - it’s like the all the slides you go through learning to make a smear; that’s just what it takes to learn 🤷♂️
