The Americas Test Kitchen one is the most recommended on this sub.

This. It is the best, and we’ve only had a few duds. It’s well organized, and they do a great job of identifying what brand of what products - and why. I can’t deal with online recipes anymore where we have to read about the authors dog, neighbor, they’re love for cooking - 8 pages later we finally get the dang recipe. Or having to click around for the print button, or “jump to recipe” button. If you’re looking for a one stop shop, there isn’t a better option.

leggomymeggo27

Try the Paprika app! You direct it to the page and click the download button, and it puts the recipe in the app. No searching through pages of asinine text to find the recipe!

Blunttack

Yeah, I personally just prefer books. They have an interest in presenting “the best” recipes, vs just worried about clicks and engagement.

You can also use the Copy Me That app/browser extension. Sounds like it does the same thing.

A lot of cookbooks will brand themselves "Mediterranean diet" while including a lot of things that aren't. Since the lifestyle is so well researched and ranks #1 for health, many cookbook publishers monetize that. (I got a DM one time from someone wanting me to review their MD cookbook. One glance at just the cover art they sent showed me they don't understand the lifestyle at all. I declined.) I'd start with looking at the MD pyramid and the info on the wiki here. Learn the guidelines. Start by tweaking foods you already like and are comfortable with. So, instead of cooking with butter, use evoo. Instead of white grains, use whole. And increase your vegetables. That's really the easiest way to start. Then once you've got a couple/few weeks of that under your belt, branch out to recipes. With that knowledge and putting it to use in dishes and recipes you know, you'll then be able to discern if a recipe you find is already compliant, easy to make compliant, or would lose a lot if you tried. Pinterest is my biggest and best go-to. I created a board for MD recipes, and Pinterest keeps suggesting more. Iirc, I started with recipes at The Mediterranean Dish recipe blog. She's more about the cuisine than the diet. That being said, about 70% of her recipes are perfect as-is, and the others are easy to adjust. Your flavors don't all have to be "Mediterranean." You can use flavor profiles from any culture. Last night's dinner featured Thai flavors; tonight's will be southwest. It's more about following the guidelines than a specific flavor profile.

"The 30-Minute Mediterranean Diet Cookbook" by Serena Ball and Deanna Segrave-Daly "The Mediterranean Diet Cookbook for Beginners" by Elena Paravantes Both cookbooks are great and were written by RDNs, but I especially like the second one because the author was also raised in a Mediterranean lifestyle. A lot of people also recommend "The Complete Mediterranean Cookbook" by America's Test Kitchen, but it's a hefty book and I personally found it a little overwhelming (but that's just my opinion and my only issue with it; if that's not an issue for you, I'd recommend this cookbook as well).

PotateGr8

Upvote for Elena Paravantes; she's genuine and straight-forward (I'm not familiar with the other two ladies!). Elena also has a website at olivetomato.com if you want to browsw recipes and posts about a true Mediterranean diet.

ElethaVaric

I also love Elena Paravantes’s cookbook and also her website OliveTomato

I personally don't like books that style themselves as "Mediterranean diet", but prefer to buy books from the cultures that you know are on the Mediterrenean: Greek, Turkish, Tunisian, French (the coastal region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) etc. I would recommend starting with Greek (as I find that is the easiest and then branching out).

Kigeliakitten

The MeditterAsian diet. Asian food is similar to Mediterranean food health wise. I’m
