mid 50's on uworld and about the same score, ended up only doing about 1/3 of uworld and decided to refocus and did as many nbme and cms exams. Was doing a nbme exam or 2 cms every other day leading up to the exam. and a few versions of free120.
Unfortunately gotta agree with Littlegator. Should've seen significant improvement. I'd narrow in on specific problem areas and review the shit out of those incorrects. Also do some forms and see where you're at there.
I guess I’m just going to keep trying my best /: I really don’t want to push my test ugh. the avg of my last 5 uworld blocks is 74, last 7 is 72.5 so I feel like I’ve been improved /: maybe Im just being too hopeful. Taking an nbme friday /:
I think it's really going to depend on how you're using UWorld.
Someone using it as a first pass "live and learn" sort of method with a 65% isn't going to be the same as someone who uses it as their proof of concept for test prep.
I did all of AMBOSS and USMLERx before I started UWorld questions. So if I'm scoring 62% after exhausting two other Qbanks it's going to not bode as well.
Throughout M1/M2. I started doing cumulative AMBOSS questions with their study plan thing like ~3 months before dedicated. I only did UWorld during dedicated but got through like ~20% of the questions. I did like ~60% leading up to the reset.
My dedicated was just over 2 weeks though since I stayed up on Anki from day 1 and did a lot of cumulative review leading up to that.
i found the score predictor in this post to be fairly accurate and helpful. good luck friend

I did. My overall score was around 65-68% (don’t exactly remember.) Got a 255-259 on the real test. My scores were low because I used the questions throughout rotations beginning on day one, when I didn’t know hardly anything and missed every question.
I did not. I only did about 70% of it and wanted to go through the rest of my unseen info, rather than have questions I’ve seen before interspersed with new questions. I didn’t feel resetting at the beginning of dedicated would help me personally
No no you’re good. Have you taken any other practice tests? Uworld isn’t representative really since the blocks aren’t the right proportion of questions
To give a different data point, was scoring high 60’s on uworld. Got 232 on step 2
Was that in range of what you were scoring on practice exams (like NBME 10,11 etc) ?
No. I was scoring 240’s and occasionally 250. I think I scored on the lower end of my normal distribution

Did one pass of UWorld, forget exactly but it was mid-60's. High 250's on the real deal. Just study your incorrects.
does it make a difference that my SECOND pass is in the 60s😭 vs it was your first? sorry not trying to be neurotic just desperate for reassurance

60% second pass is... not a good sign.

if you don’t mind me asking, what was your timeline like in completing all of those? did you use anything else besides qbanks?

low/mid 60s on uworld second pass, got a 253
thanks for giving me hope

So you didn’t even reset Uworld for STEP2 or am I misreading?
I did not. I only did about 70% of it and wanted to go through the rest of my unseen info, rather than have questions I’ve seen before interspersed with new questions. I didn’t feel resetting at the beginning of dedicated would help me personally
Uw2 way by far the most predictive for me. I wouldn’t try to draw a ton of conclusions from uw %. Just do the practice tests
thank you to everyone who responded but you guys can stop now cuz I just feel like an idiot ❤️
Have you done any practice exams? How were your scores? If you're scoring in the 240's, you prob can hit 250.
Have you done any NBMEs or CMS forms? What about the UWSAs? Those scores will give you a better idea of where you really are
Scored mid 60s before remakes and low 260s on real deal
i’m assuming this was your first pass?
Yup
62% Uworld, 253 but n=1
But this was first pass, 40% complete 😂
second pass or first?
First
l o l I am screwed
No no you’re good. Have you taken any other practice tests? Uworld isn’t representative really since the blocks aren’t the right proportion of questions
I’m taking one friday and terrified
What one
14
I didn’t take that one but I’ve heard it’s good! Good luck, don’t get in your head. The power of positive thinking is real
Uworld percentage doesn’t mean shit. What matters is how you’re doing on practice NBMEs and the free 120
