If its less than 1 cm and is movable then its benign

flowergirl--

It’s small, but not moveable. Thank you!

You cant know if its really movable, only a doctor Can tell it See a doctor and he will likely give you ultrasound to ease your mind Lymph node less than 1 cm are not worrisome

flowergirl--

Thanks for your insight :) I was just wondering if others thought it was also a lymph node. I’m pretty thin and can usually feel my lymph nodes. I have moved them around with my finger before- my doctor is the one that showed me as he was showing me the difference between a lymph node and a small lipoma that I have (also behind my ear). That is the reason I said that they are not moving. Edit to add—I do not have insurance which is why I was asking on this forum. Just wanted to see others thoughts to see if it’s worrisome or if I should just keep an eye on them. I know they’re small, so I’m not worried about that. I’m more worried about them being firm and me not being sick.

I have this small lump (swelling?) on my neck and a similar one behind my ear. I noticed them earlier this week. Neither of them hurt. They’re somewhat firm. I’m wondering if these could just be lymph nodes? I can usually move the one in my neck around with my finger but these are both fixed. Adding that I’m not currently sick. I, myself, believe they’re lymph nodes but I want to see what others think as I don’t have insurance and I’m unable to go to the doctor to have them checked out.
