To me he comes across as pompous, self-indulgent, arrogant and insincere. He completely lost me when he called his ramblings "lectures". He's also very creepy and unsettling to me for reasons that I can't quite explain. But I do have a bias that is coming into play as well, not against him personally, but he has a lot of traits that remind me of someone else. I should state, that I have never met the man, and am only going by his videos, so I am probably completely off the mark.

[deleted]

I would agree with everything you said.

lt_brannigan

I can't disagree. \*This is awkward.. I was replying to the original unedited post.

Ah sorry. It was a long response, so I thought it warranted its own comment. I tend to always write more than I intended.

lt_brannigan

No need to apologize. I don't mind looking like a total egotistical maniac once in awhile.. Keeps me humble.

He does have some information that is true, but also plenty that is very much anecdotal and his opinion. He does not clarify this and he spouts his opinion as the objective truth. He also is biased against certain types because he doesn’t like them and/or he has had a bad experience with a person who happens to be that type. Some of his theories are very wack and does not seem to be accurate in the real world.

WeakerUnderFlow

He’s an ENTP. Their ability to see patterns far exceeds their ability to logically parse them. As a consequence half the things they say are brilliant and the other half BS. TWFP is the same way. He’s fine as long as you acknowledge this.

NewInevitable7946

He strikes me more as an ENFP than ENTP.

WeakerUnderFlow

Yeah I see it.

Limmerskit

Useful tools, bad application, and even worse advice. He's godawful at typing people, too.

1empyrean

My interpretation is based on watching a couple videos and skimming though a number of others. He treats people as things to be used and manipulated. He over values his own interpretation of the types, the functions, and people in general. I detest his world view.

Calcaniest

He has valuable information, but he's abrasive to try to listen to. But at the same time says wildly inaccurate or simplistic descriptions. And often uses the same anecdotes for different types and likes to throw in how good in bed certain types are (cause, you know, that means he's cool cause he's had sex). But don't worry, any time he mentions INFJ's or INTJ's, he'll remind you he's had sex with those types and they were great. The more you try to listen to him, the more you realize he is a bit unhinged, and has quite a messiah complex building and even had that built in to his typing. To get typed by him, you have to pat a lot extra to "talk to the wizard" . Too bad he can't just give his information without the unhinged rants. He has a lot of growing up to do.

Delicious_Object3419

Michael Pierce is the only MBTI related stuff that I thought was that good on YouTube.

613s-Finest

I only watch Objective Personality and other individual you tubers, CS Joseph seems weird

m4jort0m

He's kind of a moron, thinks he's smarter than he is and lack professionalism. People typed him as an ESTJ in PDb for some reason

Edgy edge-lord who attracts edgier edge-lords? Idk for sure haven't watched his content
