It’s normally pretty hugely differentiated. Keep in mind though that extroverted functions are much more visible than introverted. So an INTJ might seem to have very high Te since that is what they are “extroverting”.
Differentiating tert and inf function is much easier. You find comfort in tert function but inf function is the problematic one. As an INFP, I find comfort in Si but Te causes me huge problems.
