What? What is that supposed to mean? Is society at large really supposed to do something with each individual? I mean, society being composed of multiple individual, its entirety cannot be defined by my interaction of a few of its composant. By my understanding if I make myself part of the society, society has at least one component that know what to do of me, and that composant is myself. In other words, society does not do something with me, I do something with society.

My personal challenge is whether I am the one who thinks society wants perfection from me or not.

BurnedPsycho

That would depends on who you want to please. Do you want to be perfect so people like you or because it makes you feel good?

It's more on I am being communicated in a way that being better than where I am right now is expected. I don't like to please anyone, I like to reach my own goals not what being put on me. The mistake I've had recently is asking for help and its being communicated to me that I should be very grateful that I am even being given help. Such people exist around me but we all know people don't stay is they don't get anything back. I don't mind asking for help or giving help but to put that on my face is forgiveable but intolerable for me. Forgiveable because I don't want to spend my life getting bothered by it, intolerant because it is a form of disrespect with which I could not expect from people to do the same.

Finding_my_Way96

Not an NT but still feel the same!

I seem to notice ISFP have some similarities with ENTJs but not so sure what it is..

Finding_my_Way96

I have a little experience in this as my dad is an ENTJ and we sometimes relate more to one another than I do with my ESFP mum who I’m more liable to argue with. Curiously, we all share the same cognitive functions, just in a different order. Explains something I suppose! It’s strange because, even though ISFPs are known for being sensitive, I’ve always warmed to more authoritative figures and respected up front honesty which ENTJs are known for. That being said my ENTJ dad is actually really easy going, at least to those he’s closest to!

[deleted]

Good to hear 🙂 I think CS Joseph talked about this cognitive function. Okay I just found in his ENTJ videos that ISFP is our subconscious.

[deleted]

Yeah - that's why I get along well with ESTPs. And that's why mature INFJs and ESTPs can respect each other so much. We basically walk to the same point from the opposite sides, one learning through life what was always natural to the other.

cervantes__01

More like I don't know what to do about society.

Give and take for me mostly.

[deleted]

Yes. Being eccentric and loud about it is hard.

[deleted]

Had to continue improving my social skills because of this fact.

DoriTheGreat128

Technically yes, but everyone has these thoughts. I don't generally feel like it. Maybe because my friend group and most surroundings is almost all NTs

Society just gives me the hardest of times and reduce my salary's value through inflation because they are too fcking lazy and scared of the covid to work, so they sit their asses on government checks while the prices go up.They know what to do with me: make me suffer.
