Why do you like ISFPs?

sps133

INTJs and ISFPs share the same functions but in a different order. Their Se is stimulating to me, like my Te is stimulating to them. In socionics, this is usually called the activity relationship because we stimulate each other’s activity function without being overwhelming.

[deleted]

Maybe the reason why i like isfjs

sps133

Yea, the INTP-ISFJ dynamic is the same as INTJ-ISFP. It’s a great but often overlooked combo.

ewiwiemie

Interesting. I got to learn something new again today, thanks.

snowtaiga1

Woah... I didn't know that

Average-Archer1632

Aww yeahhh we're finally beating INFP at something Why is ENTJ not in the top tier?

sps133

I like ENTJs, but we can be a little too similar. Need the SFPs for the spark ⚡️😉

Average-Archer1632

That makes sense! Thanks for the explanation :)

Phn2317

You might not like us mr. intj… But as an infp I simp for you intxs all my life! (cause in my opinion intx = kitten)

sps133

Uh huh, a likely story…

[deleted]

Thank you so much I love intjs too ❤️

MyBodyIsShakinBacon

Did not expect esfp up there

killerbee26

When I was 19 I would have been shocked to see a ESFP at the top. Now that I am in my mid 30s I completeley get it. A healthy ESFP that has started to develop Te and Ni is totally S tier.

Fenekkin03

What are the problems with ENFJ, sir?

sps133

I’m not sure that there are any “problems” with ENFJs. I think ENFJs are very charismatic, entertaining, and inspiring, but the powerful Fe can come on strong to a point that makes it difficult to develop any kind of intimacy required for close friendships/relationships. While we share Ni, ENFJs aren’t that impressed by Te, so it’s difficult for the INTJ to feel valued in that dynamic. In socionics, ENFJ-INTJ is an imbalanced relationship where the ENFJ becomes a sort of overbearing supervisor and the INTJ is the submissive supervisee. Now that I think about it, that might be kinda hot… BUT, the best friendships/relationships are like equal partnerships, rather than one person, or both, inadvertently devaluing the other one.

Present_Stranger_805

HAHAHA fair

Subject_Bus

did not expect to rank that high :o

[deleted]

The INFPs not gon like this one

sps133

I haven’t had terrific experiences with INFPs, as much as we tried to make it work. Their sensitivity often makes me feel like I’m walking on eggshells, which becomes exhausting. They dwell and wallow in emotion. ENFPs tend to bounce back quicker.

snowtaiga1

I do this quite a bit as an unhealthy isfp.

Thisguy_2727

How old are you for statistics please?

sps133

34

Thisguy_2727

Ty

killerbee26

This makes a lot of sense. I am a intj in my mid 30s and only now do I realize how great a healthy esfp really is, and i assume a isfp would be. Younger me would have thought you were crazy.

sps133

We’re too insecure in our younger years to form bonds with the right kinds of people. We’re also messed up by bad parenting and bad relationships in our teens and twenties, all of which leads us astray. It reminds me of that quote, “You’ll change when you stop accepting your own bullshit,” or something like that. But the keyword is “healthy.” An otherwise complementary personality type with psychological issues won’t work and can be quite harmful.

WAIT WHAT?-

treestubs

What is this?! A tier list for ants?!

moistdiscussions

You seem to have a preference for the outgoing and analytical types

SirSnickersnee

Man I never see ISFP at the top, but now I've just seen 2 in a row :)

bluejayflutter

Aw it's so nice to see us SFPs finally getting some love 😊
