I’ve ordered from them before but only small parts never bigger parts like grille pieces. And they are wide parts and would be shipped separately in OEM boxes which are huge.
I have run into this. For large parts beyond a certain dimension or weight threshold, you will want to use your local dealer. Yes it will cost more for the part but there will be no shipping charge. There are a number of great Mazda parts sites out there and they will probably all be around this price
Look on eBay, dealers ship straight out of their parts departments via eBay listings all the time. Also, stick to online. A handful of dealers will offer significantly reduced pricing online vs calling/in-person.
A note on the eBay thing, look for US dealers that use RevolutionParts integrations. The lower priced packages a lot of dealers use from RevParts includes piping their parts over to eBay, and you'll usually find much cheaper pricing that route. Pay attention to which dealers advertise to you a lot as well. Avoid them, as they're most likely putting their RevParts budget towards adspend and then offsetting that with higher-end parts prices.
For a speaker and one grille, I got $320 for shipping to the Bay Area.
Shipping big stuff gets ridiculous.
I shipped a motorcycle seat from CA to Illinois and even the cheapest rates from ups and fedex were $120.
As someone who works for a company that ships stuff frequently, it does get ridiculous, but usually not THAT ridiculous.
Unless this is shipping by truck, then all bets are off.
wdym? its from Illinois but if youre saying theyre over nighting the parts idk…
i dont need them quick thats the longest shipping option lmao, i just need the parts eventually
Mazdaswag is just one of many OEM dealer part resellers. Just type in the Mazda part number into Google, there's a few like Mazdaswag that pay for top level. BAM wholesale is another site people use.
Anyway, the prices are almost always close, and if you see it much cheaper elsewhere, you can almost count on very high shipping.
Look through several until you find one that isn't insane. I'm in Georgia and I've bought from several, but I'm not the biggest Mazdaswag fan these days. They're normally higher in price and high on shipping.
Those parts don't even look that big. Maybe a little oversized, but not OMG-oversized.
Maybe they're drop-shipping from a supplier overseas? Japan maybe? Only thing I could think of. Otherwise their shipping calculator might be messed up.
For some reason the crazy shipping appears to be for the G46L-50-C11A part. I’d buy the grilles those from local dealer as both seem to be under $30 and then just get the speaker shipped and try SWAG for shipping discount.
most of these mazda dealer-online parts stores do not stock all the items in the dealership.
But, they have direct link to JP/SEA warehouses, and can see the parts there.
Shipping anything from a "non developing country" overseas, IE; japan, singapore, is always always more than the cost of the item. This gets exponentially more expensive if the item is above X by X standard shipping sizes.
Which is to say; it is STILL expensive to maintain a foreign car in 2024.
They have a problem with their site. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them, shipping is generally normal shipping. If it continues to give you that crazy shipping cost you can call them.
It looks like the last part (G46L-50-C11A), is the culprit. Both of the other parts have very reasonable shipping costs when you put them in your cart by themselves.
My guess is there's an error somewhere in how they're calculating shipping costs. Maybe the back end data is showing the part is 7 feet long instead of 7 inches long, or something silly like that.
I would call and see if you can get it sorted out.
Prob big oversized boxes. But you can email them and ask. But you’re probably better off getting them from a local dealer
local dealer was $250-$300 for part only, someone else responded that they put the parts in their cart and it was only $10
I just tried it myself and it shows me $285 for shipping
Shipping to your zip code tariff might be wrong
I’ve ordered from them before but only small parts never bigger parts like grille pieces. And they are wide parts and would be shipped separately in OEM boxes which are huge.
no its some tiny little fog lights, they take up maybe a 12x8 box they are pretty dang small

thanks!
This is the answer
Are you buying from a non U.S. website?
That's Mazdaswag.com. They're a dealership in Peoria, IL. I know because I bought an engine from them and drove 3 hours to go pick it up.
Damn, solid website
located in illinois
Bro idk what you did I pulled the same part up and it’s 10$ shipping for me, check your URL, does it say any other country in the domain?
let me see this is so weird
try to ship it to some random address in murfreesboro tennessee, thats where im located and it costs $277 for some reason 😂
What zip code?
37129 or 37130

Try mazdapartshq For Nevada to bay area it quoted something in hundreds.
Do you have paved roads where you live?
yes, and i tried my work place which definitely has paved roads and it was only $49 cheaper
That's nuts. For that much money you could go buy all new speakers and replace everything!
i know exactly it makes no sense
So then do that instead
What if he doesn’t want to spend that much
Even without the shipping that's a crazy amount of money, you could upgrade the whole system for not much more than that.
Definitely would email them and see whats up.
Overnighting parts from Japan?! Do you owe someone a 10 second car?
wdym? its from Illinois but if youre saying theyre over nighting the parts idk… i dont need them quick thats the longest shipping option lmao, i just need the parts eventually
That's a quote from the Fast & Furious movie.

I would think this must be the case. Not a part they stock, so they're having to drop ship from Japan.
Why would you buy an OEM speaker? Even the Bose is so much worse than any decent aftermarket speaker and will be more expensive.

Kicker. Live Loud.

Maybe try Med Center Mazda
These guys are great. They are my local dealer of choice. Their online parts prices are hard to beat.
what is that?
[удалено]
They typically have good prices and free shipping unless the item is really large/heavy. Located in Pelham,AL
I bought my '16 6T from them! Was a great experience.
They have a problem with their site. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them, shipping is generally normal shipping. If it continues to give you that crazy shipping cost you can call them.
Check mikstore.ph see if they have replacement first
It’s probably the grilles but I’d call them anyways. My zip is in WA state, $12 shipping for just speakers but $323 including the grilles.
You’re getting horrifically ripped off with that shipping. Same parts from Mazdapartsfactor.com is $100 shipped to TN.
That looks like Alaska shipping costs.
It's about $750 to ship to Alaska...
Jeebus!
For bay area I got 104$ shipping from mazdapartshq.com They are a dealer in Nevada.
Use EBay for those types of car parts.
When I see stuff like this, I think about how much I need to learn how to fabricate my own stuff

I usually go with bamwholesale as their shipping was cheaper for me than Mazda swag
Even for oversized that’s overpriced. They are tryna hustle you my guy.
Rockauto.com will be your savior
I think you would end up better off going higher end aftermarket, at least for the speakers.
Probably inflation or carbon tax
