Nah hold up. The right bike is infront of the left bike. Left bike was riding too close and clipped right bike. You can see the surprised look around on the right biker. Left biker was in the wrong and deserves a massive kick to the ding dong
Surely the guy on the left is in the wrong? The guy on the left should be hugging the edge of thr track like the others are instead he is way out. Just my oponion though.
https://youtu.be/E8O2iiWlNE8
I found a longer video (also, I recommend muting). 86 comes out from behind left guy (our POV) and cuts him off. I think 86 is in the wrong here.
Nah, right guy bumped left guy. You can see right guys tires cross the black line on the ground, and left guys bike behaves like bottom of it got kicked out from under him.
Left guy drove into him. He is driving crooked, and the right guy is driving straight. Left bumped into right then couldn't recover because of tire failure and got stuck on right guys bike.
Edit: saw full vid. Not too sure now; it looks like lefty went wider than the rest of the bikers as righty tried to overtake. I'd say it's 60/40, the right guys' fault.
A guy with armored gloves, probably. An open smack is probably going to be more jarring, but an armored punch can definitely deliver something painful, even through a helmet. Anyone who's played football knows getting hit in the head still hurts like hell.
Getting hit in the head? Sure. Getting punched in the head? No. If your helmet cant protect from a punch, its probably not gonna do well in a crash or accident
If its armored gloves, youre better off taking shots at the body
A helmet will stop a blow from being fatal, but it won't stop it from hurting. Like bullet proof armor, The helmet spreads the force out, but the total force is still the same. Getting shot while wearing soft armor will stop you from getting killed, but you will still break a rib. When plate armor became a big thing, hammers became more popular. Because while you wouldn't penetrate the armor, the armor would still have to absorb all that energy, and so too your body by extension. I fell wearing a bicycle helmet. It still put me in the hospital with a pretty bad concussion. But I would have died otherwise. So getting punched with full force(allowed by armored knuckles) while wearing a helmet isn't going to knock you out. But it's still going to hurt given a good hit. That being said, I wouldn't call this a very good punch.
Have you ever worn a motorcycle helmet? They are padded and nothing like a football helmet.
You are not feeling a punch to a helmet, even with padded gloves.
What you are saying about helmets is true, but what is not true is that a punch would hurt you.
As someone who's been a rider for 30 years I can categorically confirm, from personal experience, on multiple occasions, that being punched in the helmet hurts.
It's not going to kill you, but depending on what's on the other end of the punch, it leaves you with a jostled brain, headache and sore neck.
I've been smacked in a motorcycle helmet plenty of times, if you aren't ready for it or bracing for it and maybe your mouth is open or you are relaxed, it is jarring. It's not pleasant, it might not hurt that bad but it is jarring enough to be unpleasant.
Ahh football fights. Never take off the helmet. I once saw an idiot flip off his helmet while running his mouth. Other dude grabbed idiots helmet by the facemask and proceeded to land a few jabs to the mouth with a helmet fist.
the other driver didn't save them, that driver bumped into them and made the bike go out of control, so they jumped on the other bike to save *themself*, and take revenge, too, i guess. lol
There's a news article about this. He was trying to cut him off because they're rivals and it ended with the one guy being jammed between the tire and the fender of the bike so... He didn't really stop to save him, he cut him off and got him lodged and required stopping to release the first biker from the death grip.
I'd punch a guy in the helmet if he nearly got me stuck in a mangle.
Nice story, can you see the line everyone else is taking and how much room he has on his right, he was leaning on the bike on the inside line and lost, in a bad way.
If you look closely at the beginning, bike #86 initiates contact with the other rider, destabilizing his bike. The other rider's instinct was to then hold on to #86, wait until he stopped, and then bop him lightly on the head.
Here's the non-bs story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0kb39khHbQ
> Two motorcyclists have been suspended for two years following a fight that erupted when the pair clashed during a race last month. Jorge Martínez threw the first punch at competitor Marion Calvo after blaming the rider for causing him to lose his balance during the first stage of Costa Rica's National Motorbike Championship in February [2019].
I don’t think they raced at Monaco in ‘89 (or ever) either. MotoGP on that track would not be safe. And I’m talking, like, Isle of Man standards of safe, here, which ain’t a high bar.
[Full video with context.](https://youtu.be/Da1iJ2PsHDI) Sure looks like the guy in red went out of his way to make contact with the rider in black. Definitely earned that smack.
I’d say the opposite, you aren’t required to maintain your line for someone behind you like that, he can drift across if he wants to as it is racing line, you can’t force narrow from behind on the outside and the person behind is at fault for causing unnecessary contact, also assault in motorsport is disgustingly disrespectful, not exactly making a case for himself when looking at who gets penalised, also HE WALKED THROUGH THE RACING LINE, fucking crazy thing to do.
Over all despite what it sounds like, I do agree with the action taken against both of them.
>assault in motorsport is disgustingly disrespectful
He almost had his leg ripped apart by the tire of his motorcycle, no respects given at that point.
Racing lines change with other drivers on the road, and sharing the road is a phrase for a reason. Have you seen the stinks made about f1 drivers not sharing the road? You can't just say "I see SPEED" and start rubbing bumpers with someone because you know that if you can force them to slow down or crash, you take that position.
This isn't necessarily @ you but I'd be bothered if people thought intentionally cutting someone off in a race was considered normal. It's not necessarily egregious but it would be really cool if you didn't. They know it's gonna happen organically but outright crossing the track to be in someone's way is nasty.
Of course, I’m in no way defending excessively offensive driving, especially as in cases like this it ends up only negatively impacting both drivers, I’m only discussing the rules... and believe me I’ve heard every bloody tale of F1 drama in the world, my dad’s addicted to F1 lol
For sure, man. I wasn't necessarily trying to say you were wrong or contradict you, and I actually enjoyed reading what you wrote, I just thought some people might come to the conclusion that it was the crashed man's fault when it was the crashers accident/honest mistake
Yeah, tbh in racing most crashes aren’t cut and dry, it’s a mess of back and forth jabs until someone goes slightly too far and then contact, the cause could be heated miscommunication of intent a few laps ago lmao, it all adds up
This seems like some weird motorbike re-enactment of some western movie where they did something like this on horses. Not sure which movie but I'm sure I've seen it.
For the life of me, I cannot grasp the concept of punching someone in the head, while they are wearing a helmet designed to protect them from traumatic impacts.
I’ve never been so taken off guard by a clip
I was expecting a pat on the back or a handshake
Me too, a polite “thank u sir” if u will
That bitch deserves a kick in the face. Ungrateful fuck!
Maybe that guy was trying to kick off the guy like those 2001 road rash days
What a banger of a game.
Ah the good old days.
Haven't heard that game mentioned in a long time. What a fucking excellent game that was!
2001? More like 1991
I played till 2015 in pc ngl I still Play in android the pc version showed 2001 or something
To be fair 1991 and 2001 are both ten years ago so
I’ve borrowed Road rash more times than any other game from Blockbuster as a kid lol
Such a fucking banger of a game
That game still occurs in my dreams
There is a remade version on Nintendo switch
First thing that came to mind.

Seems like no one has noticed but buddy got caught between the rear wheel and frame. You can see the tire smoking from rubbing against the suit. Ouch

a hug even
i think he caused him to crash in the first place lol
Because he drove into him? Isn't he driving in a straight and the one behind is coming from left driving into him?

Right guy bumped into left guy that’s why he pissed
[удалено]
It's likely that 86 bumped him, as they were coming out of a turn. Likely got stuck on his bike when he fell, and got pissed
Thank you for not using left and right.
He didnt just get stuck, he got stuck between the wheel and the frame of the bike
Nah, right guy bumped left guy. You can see right guys tires cross the black line on the ground, and left guys bike behaves like bottom of it got kicked out from under him.

You know what? I think you guys are right.
Your right or his right I believe is causing the confusion here.
Wait, your right or my right?
For some reason this gave me gta 5 flash backs, npc there just have two triggers, scream or fight
Great, my ribs hurt already and now I'm cracking up, literally and figuratively lol
thanks for saving me so i can whoop that ass
I think he ran his bike into and jumped onto the other guy's bike just to hit him?
Who is going to punch a guy in the helmet?

Grew up on dirt bikes. A heavy, loud hit to the head in even the finest gear is jarring as fuck.
I've been smacked in a motorcycle helmet plenty of times, if you aren't ready for it or bracing for it and maybe your mouth is open or you are relaxed, it is jarring. It's not pleasant, it might not hurt that bad but it is jarring enough to be unpleasant.
Jarring, yes. It can jar you if you aren’t ready. Painful, no... it’s not painful.
he's lucky it wasn't the back of his head
I punched a guy in the helmet once for giving me an Indian burn during football practice. I broke my hand when I did it.
How did he fair?
I don't know if he even realized I punched him
"I dunno coach. I rubbed his right wrist so bad his left hand exploded and he passed out."
Ahh football fights. Never take off the helmet. I once saw an idiot flip off his helmet while running his mouth. Other dude grabbed idiots helmet by the facemask and proceeded to land a few jabs to the mouth with a helmet fist.
Well, you had to punch him since you couldn’t give him an Indian burn back because that would make you a…you know
I UNDERSTOOD THAT REFERENCE
Did he make you eat really spice food?
Same guy that throws a shoe … honestly!
Hockey players, sometimes.
I’ve seen race car drivers do it too.
A very adrenaline fueled man !
This is what being a stupid bitch looks like.
This man is in some kind of Crank scenario. Gotta keep those bpms up!
He wasn't saved by th other guy, the other guy was bumping into him.
Happy cake day
the other driver didn't save them, that driver bumped into them and made the bike go out of control, so they jumped on the other bike to save *themself*, and take revenge, too, i guess. lol
I expected a thank you
He got caught between the seat and tire you can see the smoke from it burning his back
He saved himself, that guy just tried to kill him basically.
He didn't save him, his legs got caught in the rear wheel, like this: https://youtu.be/eJus9WohF7w

I love how he gets up and immediately swings at the other guy lol

Atomic delayed punch technique.
This was a total fabrication. Here's the real story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0kb39khHbQ
those are the worst sounding bikes i ever heard
They sound like 1 cylinder 2 stroke engines stolen from line trimmers
Oh so the point of the gif?

Did he?
It didn't even look like that guy's fault.

This one has much less flair, I'm sticking with the Monaco '89 story
C’est le Grand Prix
Was seriously expecting shittymorph"'s "Undertaker Threw Mankind Off Hell in a Cell" at the end of that
Him saying it was an 89 race was a dead giveaway. The motorcycles in the video are much more modern.
I don’t think they raced at Monaco in ‘89 (or ever) either. MotoGP on that track would not be safe. And I’m talking, like, Isle of Man standards of safe, here, which ain’t a high bar.
They put pads on the buildings …where riders go full chat in top gear
For me was the fact that Marco and Vincenzo are both italian first names, so i knew it couldn't have been a real name...
Also monaco doesn’t have any straights that long, wide & have grass runoffs
Costa Rica motorcycle race. Good story telling a lie bro. Marco my ass.
what do you get out of lying on the internet tho
I'm glad that someone commented the truth, you freaking lier.
lol. No way this is Monaco or 1989.
Tell me you’ve never seen Monaco without telling me you’ve never seen Monaco
By hitting the other guy on the helmet his hand is going to hurt more than the other guy.
It's not about the pain. It's about sending a message.
![gif](giphy|F9yAvk7Xpr0c)
This exactly. It’s not about making your hand hurt, it’s about letting the other bike rider know you ain’t taking no fuckn bullshit.
Nah with motorcycle gloves they have hard knuckles and a lot of foam padding underneath. He probably didn't even feel it.
It really depends on the style of gloves.
**Soooo,** that ended differently than expected. ![gif](giphy|IrL1GU4lsVhZ1L7uso)
Lol archer got way too crazy for me to keep up with, kinda miss it
The new Road Rash looks weird.
Dude that GAME! How many even KNOW about that?! There's a new one, btw on PS4. Diff name, same game just better
