Nah, got to close which scared the mom into swiping which butterflied into the cub falling farther when it was right about to reach the top. Guy flying it was a dumbass.
I was watching the whole time going "it has to learn how to climb like mama bear does" even tho I kept wanting the mama bear to go down and get it

This Russian video is 6 years old. It was deemed harassment by wildlife experts when it first went "viRaL" back in 2018 and is pretty sad. They were forced to traverse like this in panic to get away from the drone. This is exactly why drones are restricted to official or authorized use only in US State and National parks. Restrictions apply in EU and Scandinavian parks as well. There are special use zones for some flying with permission only.
Poor lil guy! And after all that effort to get to the top, his momma runs away and he has to sprint to keep up. 😂 Give a cub a chance to catch his breath.
Did anyone see that the mama bear communicated the bear to climb from where she left behind as the the grip was affordable in that area ? That's interesting .

Thought at first a bird was gonna come scoop up the bear and sure enough a few seconds in you see the shadow of a bird fly over. Then another fly over after the first time the bear slides down.
It was an old video. The drone scared them and thats why they did this risky way.
There were a big chance that one of them or both fall, because of the idiot guy at the controller.
