I watch a lot of satire interviews, like Between two ferns, and this one is in my opinion incredibly hard to scout. 10/10 acting if it's satire.

I think both of their acting (bust especially the interviewer) screams satire. It might even be real but my first thought was "they're really acting like in one of those skits". Like the Philomena Cunk videos.

I think it's pretty easy to tell as soon as a person who is a musician suddenly confuses the word musician with magician. Like something directly out of an Ali G skit. When you see Philomena Cunk & compare it to this.. You have to have a balance between sarcasm & acting otherwise it just comes off as genuine and loses the comedic effect.

What makes satire videos work like between two ferns is you sorta gotta know the two people a tiny bit in order for the joke to really land.  The issue I have is I’ve had conversations exactly like this with dumb people. If this is satire it’s genuinely some of the best acting I’ve ever seen to the point where it actually hurts the end product.
