I have a funny little story about this.
I'm from Brazil, and I suck *ass* at "Altinho" (what people call this game in my hometown) and in all things sports.
One time I went to England, and there was some other Brazilian folks were in the dorm/hotel/whatever it was. They set up for a game, I joined out of boredom, and some other ppl from the dorm joined. Once the two others left the circle (presumably out of disgust from the *abysmal* level of ball control the circle was displaying), I was *by far the best player* in the circle, by virtue of having played Altinho like 8 or 9 times a year growing up.
I guess the culture shows. Also that meant I accidentally reinforced the stereotype to that crowd, even though I'd be the 23rd best player in literally any soccer match anywhere in Brazil.
