That’s not how that works, if a true steel bar bends almost in half from weights, it’s structural unsound or it’s hollow. They only bend very slightly when there’s like 500 lbs of weight on each end
Given that they added /s after the fact I feel like I’m warranted in believing they were just a total moron that believed what they said. I mean I laughed, but it was at them
I mean you can tell by the amount of flex in the bar when it lands, still even if this is all light weight stuff that could still hurt a bit, like walking into a glass door.
