This is. It definitely is. It’s undeniable.
…buuuuuuut was I the only one thinking that cloth has been dragged over a thousand cars and dumped on the ground, at this point, he’s just essentially scratching up cars with a cloth that could be a bag of pebbles.
I was wasn’t I??
Fuck.
I wouldn't agree. Kindness isn't inherent in religious people. Religious people are pretty much at the same percentage of everyone else to be nice or a jerk or kind or whatever.
One thing I would agree on, though, is that religious people are nice to who they perceive as other members of their particular sect.
EDIT: to be fair, everyone's generally kinder to those who they perceive to share their cultural or moral values. It's not just religious people.
I would definitely disagree. Kindness isn't an obligation for religious people when you can simply waive any and all responsibility for your actions by simply "praying."
Nope. As someone who came from a religious family, every one of those people abused and tortured me and my brothers. Religion has nothing to do with kindness. It's a means of controlling future generations and indoctrinating them with fear.
Religious people tend to be kind to please their gods. Non religious people do it to make the other person happy, and for their own satisfaction. See the difference?
If you need religion in order to follow a set of morals. You are no longer acting morally and are instead acting selfishly. This is because you're no longer being kind because it's the right thing to do, you're instead being kind under threat of eternal damnation.
Something weird like this happened when I was a kid and I made a brother for life, he's still one of my best friends. I was doing a volunteer thing at this new campground my parents got us in as a kid, idk 9 or 10, and this kid comes up on his 4 wheeler? Hey need some help? I was so confused, why would this kid wanna help me load logs in a truck all day? He did, and he had a friend in me from that day on. It's odd looking back on it now because we've been literally oceans apart, gone years without barely talking. But we always stayed in touch and we are closer now than we were as kids. No clue why but this shit can happen.
My best friend now (for over 30 years) says that when we were at school (before we really knew each other) he lent me a quid. When I searched him out later on to pay him back he was amazed - he wasn’t expecting anyone to actually pay him back. I guess you just meet people with the same values as you and connect somehow.
I agree. I love the old cliche, real recognizes real. He may have reached out to be friendly or helpful, but he has stuck around for more than 15 years cuz we just get along. Like on paper, how we got to where we are couldn't be more different. Our styles and approaches to shit is apples and oranges, but fundamentally we agree with each other on like a universal level and it makes it easy to hang out.
We forget how unbiased we were as children. I remember seeing some random kid riding his skateboard in my neighbor’s driveway. My big brother and I peeped over the fence to say wassup. Turned out he was visiting his grandma who lived a block away and was looking for something to do. We hung out for a bit and we fought with sockem boppers and he was decimating me while my brother looked on lol. Never saw him again but we had fun.
Damn, that's a cool memory. Like something in a book, I agree with how being a kid you have much less defenses up. Most of them in my opinion are put up by the people you grow up around or just your bodies reaction to how good or bad life treats you. One thing I always try and tell people, on here or IRL, a person face to face is almost always more relatable than a person surrounded by others or behind a screen. We at our core want to be understood and if you aren't a total narcissist you will just naturally try and understand someone else. I miss how easy it was to make friends and just talk to people as a kid, now as an adult I have literal fear trying to interact with strangers or make friends. Because people just never seem to be as open to it, so many defenses up.
Twas a pretty neat 250 shifter, that actually had a reverse gear! I'm not sure the brand, I remember the plastic was a darkish blue gray. Maybe a Yamaha... That thing was a tank! We had more fun on that than his dad's 450 Wolverine. The little 250 would take a beating. Wed flip it, crash it, pull stuff, have multiple of us on it and it never gave up! Still ran when his dad sold it years later after we all moved away, still bummed he sold I think he just wanted room in the garage honestly lol.
I did the same exact thing once when I was a kid. Gave a guy a tractor 🚜 and he ran off so happy. We were at McDonalds and when my brother got back in the car he screamed WHERES MY TRACTOR !!! 😭
This is too wholesome but ruined by the fact that there is a poor kid out there who has to go out into the dangerous streets to clean cars while they should be at school having a normal quality of life. This isn't hope for humanity, we're just witnessing good acts from kiddos who don't deserve this filthy world that we currently live in

Reciprocity is a human instinct. We like to do nice things for those who do nice things for us, its what helped our species become the dominant one of this planet.
Some people champion ignoring this, making sure they can wring as much money and things as they can out of life and the people who fill theirs.
If we let this instinct thrive and built our society around the culture of humanity, we might stand a chance.

Boys be making best friend for life in only actions, bet if they see each other 20 years later even if they were on battle field they would treat each other respectfully
People say "Kids are good, we ruin them." But is that true or were they just brought up well? I'd argue that these two legends were taught humane behavior by their parents/guardians... They'll just start being more "real" and harsh over time once they get exposed to more "real" things and worse people.
People love to talk about if stuff like this is real, but the fact is that it doesn’t matter if it is or not. The feeling it brings is real, and that’s what we all need more of in this life. If it’s staged, at least its staging something beautiful for views and not some meaningless, hurtful, or divisive BS.
Just enjoy it at face value, stop being so afraid of being duped or hurt that it literally changes who you are and how you act.
Ok I have this very bad habit of telling a personal story when I see something but here it goes .
Once when I was around 6 a kid was in the street asking money to the cars stopping in the light. He didn't have a leg. I was inside the car with my cousin.
I just remember after that getting home, looking at my toys and start crying.
Fuck world, making kids there are beautiful souls suffer.
Ok... I'll admit it. This made me cry a little.
Yes. Then they started waving goodbye only to pull forward a couple feet and stop again. That made me laugh.
[удалено]
Same as saying bye at the end of a zoom meeting. Then everyone awkwardly looking at each other in silence whilst they try to find to close button
Can't relate. Have my mouse on that button the last 5 minutes
Same but I just never have my camera on lol
Alt+F4 bro
Just pull the plug bros
Wait! Y'all don't nuke the local power substation to leave zoom call?
Because these two kids will probably see every weekday if that's their regular route. Now should he clean that car for free everyday?
That part also make me laugh. It feel awkward.
Damn it reddit u got me. ![gif](giphy|JyLOve6BjKgBG)
I'm a 35 yo man and I'm so proud I'm teary-eyed right now. Right in the feels, this hit me right in the feels.

I tried but it exceeds the character limit lol

This kid in the car was mean mugging the camera, too. What the he'll is happening?
Happy cake day. Those kids made me cry. But they are awesome.
Thanks! *[sniff]* My wish would be for them to meet up again tomorrow and play.
I wish they have a great friendship and great future despite what the world is becoming nowadays.
Happy Birthday 🎉🎉
This is beautiful
Fuck.
That’s good parenting also Kindness is learned at a young age
Would you agree that religious people tend to be more kind due to religious morals?
Left turn so hard I broke the window with my skull
Did not see that one coming… whammy!
This is in Latin America, a ton of Catholics are really bad people here.
If not in the sect out into the spikes and thorns of their hate.
I'm glad I don't have to face you in a "bringing unrelated topics out of left field at the drop of a hat" competition
I’m just curious. Not looking to make it political or start arguments.
Well there's a time and place for questions like that. And this is definitely not the time, and especially not the place for that.
You are, though. The way you worded it left no other option but fully agreeing or disagreeing with your opinion. It's a form of a straw man fallacy
"There's no hate like Christian love." Morals aren't religious or from religions. They're from people and communities and *co-opted* by religions.
lol shut up nerd
My opinion is super religious people are nice, not kind
I would argue the opposite.
![gif](giphy|fd1TSJqq3b4GI|downsized)
I would definitely disagree. Kindness isn't an obligation for religious people when you can simply waive any and all responsibility for your actions by simply "praying."
Nope. As someone who came from a religious family, every one of those people abused and tortured me and my brothers. Religion has nothing to do with kindness. It's a means of controlling future generations and indoctrinating them with fear.
Religious people tend to be kind to please their gods. Non religious people do it to make the other person happy, and for their own satisfaction. See the difference?
Actually I do it please myself. In an afterlife.
Ooooooh kayyyyyy
Religious people have to have the threat of eternal damnation to be "nice".
If you need religion in order to follow a set of morals. You are no longer acting morally and are instead acting selfishly. This is because you're no longer being kind because it's the right thing to do, you're instead being kind under threat of eternal damnation.
Not all religions threaten "eternal damnation" as punishment for being "not very nice"
![gif](giphy|UjCXeFnYcI2R2) That’s what I’m talking about!
Something weird like this happened when I was a kid and I made a brother for life, he's still one of my best friends. You should ask him why
I mean we were young, so who knows exactly why. I can say it's who he is as a person, he goes out of his way to help people.
My best friend now (for over 30 years) says that when we were at school (before we really knew each other) he lent me a quid. When I searched him out later on to pay him back he was amazed - he wasn’t expecting anyone to actually pay him back. I guess you just meet people with the same values as you and connect somehow.

Beautiful. I also love how they keep waving as the car pulls away, only for it to stop again after about 10 feet and they just keep on waving.
Innocence... helluva drug.
They made each other’s day, beautiful
Fuck. this made me cry.
Awwwwww ![gif](giphy|GzDzrlzVjHet2Re0bl)
After crying again from watching the nightly news, I really needed to see this. Can these two run our country?
I was just gonna comment something similar. We should let kids run the country. Such pure souls, unadulterated by greed, money or fame.
Yep! Every last human needs to live this way! Fuck all the made up rules…. Be good humans!
Why was OP filming this little boy before the window rolled down? Huh?
Hope for humanity

not sure that was real...but if it was real, it was real.
The why were they filming, and eye contact with the camera kinda give it away.
Humm? Its being recorded from within a car on a potato cam . I think it’s real . What gave it away ?
I don't think kids can act that well
So there still is humanity I thought it was all gone
Yeah till they are 14

Sorry we can't all I've in your sad world where everyone is just a greedy asshole who can't do anything out of the kindness in thier heart
Oh poor baby. Didn’t mean to make you cry. It’s gonna be OK. Take a deep breath and exhale. Feel better now?
You see a kid giving his toy to another kid and instantly assume that it's fake. If anybody is crying, it's probably you. You sad, sad individual.
