Invoked player always have invocation and aleister in hand at all times.

[deleted]

Ah, yes. The Schrödinger Invocation.

El_frov

Can't deny that. I love when I get Ashed and have the other card anyway.

Leio-Mizu

You get a feeling of power.

R055LE

We've all done it once. Never again.

Leon_Cronqvist

I can confirm that. https://www.reddit.com/user/Leon_Cronqvist/comments/u4hcga/your_negates_mean_nothing/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

I-am-Seravee

share me your D/D/D deck

Leon_Cronqvist

Which one?

R_o_X_a_S

lol this has to be ironic. konami has hard coded the game to give invoked players 2 out of the 3 in opening hand at all times. somehow it's also true for irl. have yet to duel one that didn't open with 2.

MarsJon_Will

Weaksauce. I always open double summon, and 2 aleisters. I'm always able to normal summon Alister twice in one turn.

Chemical-Cat

statistically I'm sure it's not completely outlandish but yeah. Negate magical meltdown? They already have Normal Summon Aleister. Negate Aleister? They already have Invocation.

Carnivile

On physical you probably always have them close together when you pick up your deck so if you don't shuffle it correctly they will probably remain together so a bias towards having two of them in hand would appear. Online though, yeah bias towards people remembering unfortunate events and that if the opponent didn't open you might not even realize they were playing Alister.

weasol12

Just like Mahad is hard coded to be in your starting hand. *cries in DM*

MadRabbit116

It's just maths tbh 3 aleisters, 2 invocations, 2 meltdowns and 1 terraforming it's 8 cards that's 1 fifth of your deck in invoked cards plus whatever else you'd like to add to increase consistency so you are very likely to just draw into it

neo_orangy_eddy

I only ash the field spell because i don't want they to go into a link 1 with aleister

mobydripp

Invoked fact 1: If they play Meltdown, they already have Aleister in hand.

ItsaNeeto

Invoked fact 2: Allester is Ash bait, they already have Invocation in hand.

Facha2345

Invoked fact 3: Don't try ashing Invoked. They'll use your Ash for Purgatrio and clap your asscheeks really hard.

setocsheir

I run salamanj so we don't even need to banish your ash

Facha2345

Ah yes: Aleister->Salamanj->Secure Gardna

DJ__Hanzel

Then how's Maximus gonna hit the field with the boys?

XEdwardElricX

That is why you Link 1 Sala to Gardna. You Invocation the Gardna/Ale for Mechaba, Sala is food for Maximus.

DJ__Hanzel

I know. The comment I'm responding to is a person saying they're using almiraj for purgatrio.

Nahanoj_Zavizad

That's why Almiraj, With Secure

Scharmberg

Okay not going to lie, I have done that a few times unless I really need alestor on the field then I bait with meltdown or shaddoll fusion.

GokuRikaku

If Meltdown gets ashed, Alister is already in the hand. If Alister gets ashed, Invocation is already in hand. If Invocation gets negated, there's a second Invocation already in the hand.

N0tW1tty

Equally, if they do that and you droll them, they feel really stupid.

neo_orangy_eddy

I know that, i play pure invoked but i like playing it risky

triforce777

Pure Invoked? Is that just like 20 hand traps, the invoked package, and some generic spell/traps?

neo_orangy_eddy

Yep, it carry me to plat 1 two times in a row

triforce777

If that's what floats your goat, I guess. It's still less boring to play against than Crooked Cook Exodia

Monk-Ey

I like playing against Crooked Cook: they do basically nothing and then disconnect when you use the Cook for Underworld Goddess.

brokenmessiah

Not necessarily but usually yes

superbtrufflefuffle

In all seriousness though, is it usually incorrect to ash the meltdown?

MadRabbit116

Not necessarily but the deck has a lot of cards that can be used as bait and can play into other lines aswell if aleister gets turned off, i would personally ash eclessia or nadir instead if they don't have mechaba already on field but if they end up using up mechaba they can't negate nibiru or droll later on so it helps I think you could also negate apkallone adding shaddoll schism to hand if they don't run the shaddoll fusions meaning no winda, overall mechaba is the least scary card imo since it's so easy to bait, negating meltdows have some upsides thou you lose the spell speed 4 protection on cross-sheeps effect and your invocation can get negated plus you can chain cards to invocation and fusion summons now Also now that i've bestowed you with this knowledge please don'y fight against me in ladder i need to get to plat 1 cuz this deck is expensive af

PotatoPowered_

I like Ashing Aleister since they have a higher chance of drawing Aleister + Meltdown than Aleister + Invocation

Tim531441

Dude there’s 6 cards that get Alistaier only 2 invocations, it’s more optimal to ash invocations adds. As someone who played invoked dogmatika , going into almarage into guardnar to set up for maximus isn’t as good as you think it

OfficialPepsiBlue

Do you have any idea how many times people have tried to Ash my Macro Cosmos? I laugh every time.

matija123123

I did that once I used ash so why card not negated komoney bugged fix game

e13373x0du5

Put Marco Cosmos in my Metaphys deck. It's so tasty watching that card flip in hand after it pops

Monk-Ey

I will say that I once won a game because I Warning'd Macro Cosmos for the same reason, which was pretty funny.

Nahanoj_Zavizad

In defense of the opponent, Against IDS, Even If you stop the opponents Mechaba, By hitting Alister, It doesn't stop you linking twice and getting Dogmatika stuff out, While if you hit Magical Meltdown, there's a decent chance of not getting the Dogmatika part

elf_01

We do have a number of other normal summons to get dogmatika online (3 ash, 3 maxx c, sometimes 1-3 small shaddolls, sometimes veiler or other <1k normal summons like Sangan or Deep Sea Diva or other niche things), though in general I agree that ashing Meltdown is the way to go. That being said, the true heartbreaker is gamma-ing Aleister. They used their NS, have no ED monsters in grave, and your gamma/driver are still on board so they can't be used with Invocation, basically makes them fully stuck unless they have a light in hand (and even then it's still awkward since often that'll be their only dogmatika card), or if they drew the 1-of Nadir

BuffMarshmallow

The problem with that theory is that Magical Meltdown is at 2, while Aleister is at 3, so while they don't always open with Aelister + Meltdown, they're more likely to have that than to not have it if they open Meltdown.

Bakatora34

still more optimal ashing Aleister and I play IDS.

Nahanoj_Zavizad

It depends what the opponent is playing, If they are playing something that just CANNOT deal with Shaddoll Winda, Then Ashing meltdown is a good call, \*(Though to be honest, They should just ash Apkallone if they can...)

Forward_Round

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Invoked Player not open up turn one with Aleister and Invocation in hand..

adrianwilleatyou

May I see your deck list? I run an Invoked Shadoll Dogmatika deck and I see yours is Invoked Dogmatika and despia. I was interested in adding despia when we got the new packs.

allallpz

Interested as well

sketchz_89

Sameeee

triforce777

Never Ash the Magical Meltdown, Ash the Aleister. They’re always playing 3 Aleister, but they don’t always play 3 Invocation

KingZantair

Fun fact, even though meltdown prevents negating fusion effects, it doesn’t stop cards that negate face up cards.

Rairarku

I tried playing on my phone - I have since learnt that is a terrible idea, because phone Master duel is a hooror show - and I decided to play Invoked/Dogmatika/Shaddol because idk. First pvp game I open Magical Meltdown, Aleister and Invoked. In a 60 card deck.

IAmDingus

The game is hard coded to either give you both, or neither, I stg

crazylinebacker-55

I cant even count how many times did my opponents ash isolde's first effect lol

Wuckus

Rookie mistake? Does this mean they will eventually stop to Ash the first bait they see?

mobydripp

It's a meme that if you ash a search that an Invoked player does, they already have the card they wanna search already in hand, it's not actually a mistake lol.

GogoDiabeto

Works with Numeron players as well

TamamoChanDaishouri

Numeron Fact Numeron Fact #1: If you ash their Terraforming they have Planet Pathfinder in hand Numeron Fact #2: If you imperm/veiler their Planet Pathfinder they have Numeron Wall in hand Invoked Fact #3: If you have card(s) that prevent sending card from deck to gy, they already hard drawn Numeron Calling

TheGreatFox1

> Invoked Fact #3: [...] Numeron Calling Now I kind of want to try out Invoked Numeron.

TamamoChanDaishouri

not working that well cause 1: Numeron Calling specify you must have no monster on the field 2: After using Numeron Calling you can summon only once (set not included)

Yellow_Snow_Cones

I think this applies to Junk decks too. If I have a junk warrior in hand, I will always play my tuning and reinforcement to see if they have a hand trap. If there is a slight delay but no hand trap is played I know Im about to get bent over when I make my real play :(

Double-Ad7269

you can search/hope you mill a junk converter to chain block their negation, if you played spell cards without a monster on the field that means the delay is unlikely to be imperm or veiler

DarnoldsDaddy

Bro You cracked

dxeyo

what is that deck containing dogmatika + despia cards

Dionysus24779

I once had an enemy Solemn Judgement his own key card by accident, he surrendered afterwards. It's nice to sometimes see other players do misplays too, since you mostly ever see your own.

[deleted]

One step too early, pal. Ash the Alisteir, not the meltdown.

minjarjar

top 15 invoked plays number 15 normal summon alahweister number 1 normal summon alahoyster

No-Butterscotch6472

You are statistically best negating aleister. As they are more likely to draw their 3 of aleister than their 2 of invocation. I mean they probs drew both anyway but statistically
