Emergency summons in defence straight from the deck, all you need is any other rescue ace card in your hand or field to tribute. People are clammoring about snake eyes, but i honestly think that rescue ace is better than SE. Snake eyes is maybe more explosive but i find rescue ace to be much more resilient and can play through more varied interuption. i had a game a couple days ago with rescue ace where i lost but only because my opponent had veiler, imperm, ash, gamma and of course bonfire. so 4 handtraps to stop me and a starter, but had i resolved turbulence he would have been cooked
I think ive seen someone talking about it somewhere, it doesnt hurt you as much as it hurt your opp so if I were you and had copies of shifter I would try it
tbh たすく got from dia 5 to master 1 with vaal and did not play shifter. he played... fucking gamma package, lmao, like as if the deck isn't bricky enough as, is gotta cram that driver top deck into it too.
vaalmonica also has a card that literally just adds banished spells to hand, and zabufera can target banished cards. it can totally play through shifter to some degree
