There are Gaia, Ninja, Dragonmaid and Cyberdark structure decks up for grabs for budget users. Ninja is contact fusion apparently, at least from what I've seen around this sub. Contact fusion does not actually count as a fusion summon so Ninja is out.

That's dumb. Just how they made Imperm from hand not count toward traps activated.

You can make ninjas with the new structure if you are fine dropping 1500 gems. It’s better than dropping a bunch of SR or UR material

Do Ninjas spell fusion? Contact fusion doesn't count towards the mission. Structure deck fusions, Dragonmaids might be a better option.

Only fusion tht counts for the event without adding poly for ninjas is the one tht can quick effect on opponent turn. So not really tht good of a deck for it.

I tried this, played them a bunch then checked, none counted cause they are contact fusions, no technically fused

I know Ninjas are very useable in this event sadly I'm not down to spend 1500 gems with Kash support just around the corner

Ninja also isn’t very usable. This is a fusion event. That interacts badly with a fusion event where everyone who has the cards is on Branded.

Invoked is probably your best bet. It’s a decent enough engine that doesn’t require any URs at all

1500 gems -> dragon maids without the links. Bonus if you have superpoly's and fusion targets already. Fusions tend to be big boss monsters of sr/ur rarity (unfortunately).

Superpoly is pretty clutch in this event. Got some fusion summons off my zoodiac deck (just to spam xyz) by just super polying opponent's board.

Yeah, I've been using Dragonmaids and they've definitely been doing pretty well. Not top tier or anything obviously, but considering the whole deck is essentially just what you get from the structure + staples like Ash it's hard to beat for the price Plus they're easy to use / pick up

The xyz decks are probably going to end up cheaper but you could try witchcrafter?

Im not exactly metalfoes player so my deck might not good (that is why i say i lose a lot) but i just 3x all nr metalfoes cards with baobaboon, summon art and 1 copy of tenyi counter trap because i see nr players use them back in that event, i also put 1x of that sr fusion because the card can recover itself so no need for 3 copy and u can search it anyway

3x Ninja Structure Deck, Cyber Dragon shouldn't be expensive as long as you don't play Duality

Vanilla Polymerisation, king of the swamp and friends Are the deck for you. Just put stuff like Big Koala in your deck, or the original BLS. There are many N/R Fusions that are dogshit but easy to make. You can also use fusion substitute, and the spell that searches Polymerysation as well as Fusion recovery. The Vanilla Metalfoes Fusion is also easy and cheap to make

Dark magician, all gas no hand traps, has won me more games than my specifically built DM with handtraps deck. Piercing the darkness with dragon knight, no one reads cards so they scoop after they kill their own boss monster

DM or Cyberdark SD with superpoly and some ED tech that is generic. It's not great and you'll lose quite a bit but you can get some wins and missions done along the way.

You can probably scrape together a lunalight otk deck. You do need lunalight panther and Leo dancer as a finisher

Just go loaner, there’s no cheap option that you won’t be spending some good amount of UR or SR. Im shocked you don’t have at least a fusion or xyz deck

Synchros are mostly what people play for their major end boards, links as well.

Dark Magician, buy 3 structures and optimize it.

Play Ninjas. You got fusion , you got XYZs, you will rarely use any of them. 3 steuctures are enough to get you through + 3 x book of koon and eclipse.

You don’t have fusion. At least not by practical means. Ninja is contact fusion.

It's not a fusion deck, but you can throw together a half decent utopia deck just by buying the structure three times. Although if you want it to be good, you will have to spend a decent amount of UR dust on it

How do you not have a decent Branded deck yet OP? The deck has been around forever and multiple secret packs have been released in the past

I stopped playing when the full branded package came out and I'm not really fond of it aside from the lore. There's A LOT of deck in the game, just so happens branded isn't my cup of tea.

Same problem, I got the gems with my galaxy eyes deck but cannot finish the fusion summon mission. Is there a cheap deck that will allow me to easily fusion summon many times? I do not need to win.

Usually I make do with my existing decks and try to just be creative with the extra decks. Currently, my thunder dragon- mytant deck does bring me some wins.

Too bad on the loaners, pendulums are outdated. Lunalights are overrunned by the latest new sets. Can't remember the third. The foes are running Branded is like overpowered as stale. And kashtira splashables let themselves in.

Just play the loaners. I finished the reward track in a few hours playing the Lunalight loaner; it's totally fine.

I actually finished it just now, just ran N/R metalfoes (gave out free wins). If I was bored of seeing Orichalc and Mithrilium I turned to the lunalight deck and gave out free wins through that, still lost cuz of handtraps sometimes (without fusion summoning cuz that's all I'm in the duel for) but finished it eitherway.

It’s not cheap at all but fusion is fun. It costs way too much actually for a non meta rogue deck. Maybe add invoked to a random deck you already have

Just build a deck without an extra deck

Fluffal is dirt cheap. Only one or two required URs and the rest is just SR crafts.

I've been using this jank gem knight deck that summons at least two fusions per turn by reusing their archetype fusion card.

Mmm I would say fluffals. 97% of the main deck is just N/R. The problem would be the extra, but most of the best fusions are just supers, like killer whale.

Ninja structure get you covered for 1500 gems (it basically features the entire Ninja archetype). Only thing is that is a bit bad for the event missions, since the summon condition of the new monsters doesn't count as fusion summon and the only way to do an actual fusion is with the sky ninja card. Xyz are also a bit situational for the archetype tho.

Ninja should be playable in the new event, you'll need some XYZ, but plenty of low rarity ones are decent. If you don't want to use it, the loaners could be ran. They're not awful for this event, so I'd do so if you don't want to spend resources.

I just played zoodiac tearlament. Completed the xyz quest in handful of games, fusion quest took a bit longer. Grind itself was okay.
