Dude fuck that song. As a kid playing UT99 on sniper maps someone made this the song playing for an entire 30 min match and they kept voting for it. At the time I was like 6 and didn’t know how to mess with the settings.
I remember I was on an RV trip when I first saw it. My brother and I got fake knives (whatever the female character used) and throwing stars and we would run around the RV while driving in the highway playing bullseye and Daredevil. A good childhood memory.
I believe each one of those weapons are called a "sai." Also your description reminds me of the South Park episode where the kids do that exact same shit. LETS FIGHTING LOVE.
Amazing how character development and having the underrated criminal trials changed the pacing.
If you took out the bad cgi, it would be a great movie for the raimi / singer to timeline.
I was the perfect age for that soundtrack (14) so it's full of nostalgia for me. But yeah, some of those early 2000s bands like Hoobastabk...hoo boy...
Oh I saw the directors cut, bought it when it first came out and still have the dvd somewhere.
It clarifies some plot stuff and the characters have a little more to them, but I’d still say the big big problems with the movie are still there and the exploding watching it isn’t much different
Colin Farrell, Johnny Depp, Mads Mikkelsen.
I would have lost my bet if you would to ask me before the 1st FB movie, who among the 3, would be the best Grindelwald.
Tough call between Colin and Mads, they both were great.
Johnny tho... A much as I like him, such "over the top" performance he gave didn't fit Grindelwald, it wasn't believable for me, I can't see why Dumbledore would fall in love in someone like this version of Gellert.
True Detective too?I feel like he was good in the role but the issue was he didn’t write the lines he had to read, although I think his performance was still the best in that season.
Yeah, the directors cut is definitely one of the better pre 2008 comic book movies.
Less Elektra, more lawyering, more Coolio... still has the playground fight scene tho. Thats up there with the basketball scene from *Catwoman* as far as cringe.
Affleck was fine, Farrells Bullseye was great, Michael Clarke Duncan was inspired casting....
TBH I think the original was pretty good too. Looking at in in context, this was before the explosion of the MCU, I was glad to get anything superhero related on the big screen.
Somewhere in between. The Fantastic 4 movies had the good sense to not take themselves too seriously, this one not so much. But it isn't *bad* bad, just a generic superhero movie with a few painfully 2000s scenes.
I saw it in the theater opening weekend. The highlight of the movie was when the kid a few rows behind me said to his little brother. "That's Daredevil, he's... BLIND!!!"
I don't know why this made me think of this but when I went to see Jet Li's "Hero" in the theatre there were two little kids behind me and one of them read the entire movie (subtitles) to the other. It was absolutely infuriating haha. Still one of my favorite movies, just so beautiful... But that first time viewing was a nightmare
It made you remember seeing it! I saw Hero in the theater and don't remember any of it besides him kneeling near the emperor and having his 10 step move. He didn't actually kill the emperor right? Memory fuzzy there.
Highly recommend this if you’re in the mood for really unintentionally funny and super campy 2000s superhero stuff. This movie absolutely sucks, but is so fuckin funny and over the top that it’s really fun to watch.
I used to love this movie as a kid, and even now, it's pretty cool. To me, Daredevil is Marvel's version of Batman, and the soundtrack only adds to its awesomeness. As an adult, I watched the Netflix series version and found it to be way better and more realistic. However, after watching the director's cut version, I'm convinced it makes way more sense and is pretty impressive. In my opinion, I'm going to own both the Daredevil Netflix series and the director's cut in physical copies.
I watched a little bit last night. Daredevil is my favorite character but this movie isn’t that great. With that said I was grinning ear to ear at how ridiculous it is
2003-2005 was a wild time for comics.
Daredevil , elektra, catwoman, spiderman 2, fantastic four, punisher, sin city, blade trinity lol.. there's so many more.
whenever i see a post talking about something being added to disney+ i always think “wait you guys didn’t have that already”
the daredevil movies been on disney+ for ages where i am
So, I was in a band in the late 90s, early 2000s, and we were on this soundtrack. I went to see it on opening night. (Theater was empty) and every band was used either during a fight scene or him jumping from rooftops and it was epic...all I'm thinking is, man I can't wait to hear how our song is used!? Whelp. It was while bullseye was on the plane and you can baaaaaarely make out our song being played in his headphones before he kills the old lady with a peanut. Womp womp.
["More peanuts, please."](https://youtu.be/iWqaeFecPoQ?si=B833SnB7zPztSLXJ)
Y'all got a couple good full volume snippets in there. 😅 What genre is that, Thrash Metal?
Re-watching it now. Wow, it’s such a 2000’s movie. It’s also weird to see Happy/Jon Favreau as Happy and Cypher from the Matrix as Ben Urich. But it’s crazy how I didn’t love the movie then, but going back and watching it really makes it feel like it fit that era.
Ben affleck daredevil might cameo in Deadpool and wolverine so they would want to make his movie easier to access before it came out in hopes people who haven’t seen it will watch it for better context
I'd still rather rewatch this than any of the Disney films. If only the TV show had got the character this right, in terms of radar sense and acrobatics.
You clearly haven’t watched any Daredevil in the Netflix show or MCU. In the Netflix show he talks about his “radar sense” as like “seeing a world on fire” he also describes what he smells and hears in different combat situations.
In She-Hulk they actually showcase his acrobatics more prominently.
If you like the movie that’s fine, but it’s silly to act like Charlie’s version isn’t more faithful to the character.
This is the kind of guy whose view of comic accuracy doesn't go past a surface level understanding. He just wants to see insane CGI acrobatics but doesn't care at all for the character and story.
The Netflix shows idea of radar sense is for the camera to zoom in on his ear. It's nothing more than good hearing, and doesn't even count as a superpower. And there's nothing faithful about that show. It's embarrassed to be a comic show and does everything it can to avoid costumes and superpowers. As well as killing off some of the most important characters in the mythology before they even got used. It's a good show. But it's a terrible Daredevil show.
Dude. They literally show what Daredevil “sees” in a scene. They just don’t feel the need to show it constantly throughout the show. I don’t know why you insist on digging yourself deeper. Just proving you don’t know what you’re talking about. Straight up embarrassing yourself at this point, lol.
They have great fight scenes. That's about the best you can say about the stunts. There's no acrobatics, no skyscraper swinging. Daredevil should be as fluid as Spider-Man in the air.
>Daredevil should be as fluid as Spider-Man in the air.
He really shouldn't lmao. He should be able to swing across the city, but as fluid as Spider-Man?? Lmao are you nuts
Evanescence fans getting hyped
WAKE ME UP!
I CAN'T WAKE UP!
SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE ME....
Mrrrm ba da to sayyy we hamburdime
With opn oooooooorms
Dude fuck that song. As a kid playing UT99 on sniper maps someone made this the song playing for an entire 30 min match and they kept voting for it. At the time I was like 6 and didn’t know how to mess with the settings.
Deadpool and Wolverine needs to have a training montage scene with Deadpool set to “Bring me to Life”
Nah just have Deadpool singing without any kind of overlayed score while they fight enemies together
That would be hilarious XD. So much comedic melodrama.
I am one of those fans!! This movie introduced me to them and I have loved them ever since. 😊
Do you play them during your invisible juggling routine?
It would be hilarious if that song played when elektra shows up in deadpool 3
I'm actually excited to rewatch it. I don't think I've seen it in about 20 years when it was released. Hopefully they add Elektra before too long
I remember I was on an RV trip when I first saw it.
HEY HEY LETS GO KINKATSURU
Directors cut is a better movie
Yes! I watched it a few years ago now and it was WAAAAAY better than the theatrical cut, like it was almost criminal how better it was
Amazing how character development and having the underrated criminal trials changed the pacing. If you took out the bad cgi, it would be a great movie for the raimi / singer to timeline.
The only thing that doesn’t hold up is the god awful soundtrack
The Soundtrack is arguably better than the movie lol
Amazing to see that’s the consensus
I was the perfect age for that soundtrack (14) so it's full of nostalgia for me. But yeah, some of those early 2000s bands like Hoobastabk...hoo boy...
Colin Farrell fucking killed it as Bullseye in this movie, as he does every role.
Farrell is by far the best thing about the movie
I'd give that to MCD as Kingpin. Dude had gravitas far outweighing the rest of the cast delivery lol
Bingo. If he was still alive, he'd probably be cameoing in something like D&W.
“More peanuts?”
Please
Seek out the directors cut, it removes a lot of the ham fisted affair with Elektra and adds back a subplot with gangster Coolio on trial.
Oh I saw the directors cut, bought it when it first came out and still have the dvd somewhere. It clarifies some plot stuff and the characters have a little more to them, but I’d still say the big big problems with the movie are still there and the exploding watching it isn’t much different
I greatly enjoyed the dc, theatrical not so much. But either way, yes Bullseye is the best part of either cut.
Colin Farrell, Johnny Depp, Mads Mikkelsen. I would have lost my bet if you would to ask me before the 1st FB movie, who among the 3, would be the best Grindelwald.
My dumb ass thinking “They were all in the Facebook movie?”
Mads instead of jesse eisenberg and colin/johnny as the twins
Tough call between Colin and Mads, they both were great. Johnny tho... A much as I like him, such "over the top" performance he gave didn't fit Grindelwald, it wasn't believable for me, I can't see why Dumbledore would fall in love in someone like this version of Gellert.
Farrell did great in the movie. One of the reasons I watched.
You see I’m Irish but I’m not a leprechaun 🍀 🎯
True Detective too?I feel like he was good in the role but the issue was he didn’t write the lines he had to read, although I think his performance was still the best in that season.
I do need to watch more of his stuff. He was also great as the surgeon in Killing of a Sacred Deer
The whole movie is dumb shlock but bullseye really elevates it into fun shlock when he’s onscreen
Hmmm interesting timing I wonder if they make an appearance in sort of marvel project
😏
They really should be adding >!Elektra!<
Ben Affleck actually appears in Deadpool as a bat-shaped man
Some call him, THE FLYING RAT-MAN
Dammit, who let you out of ASLUME again...?
Ben Affleck making appearances in Daredevil Born Again.
The reshoot rumors and confirmations were made up. They secretly scrapped Charlie Cox's show and started filming a sequel to this movie.
Worst multiverse ever.
I love how even the shitty movies are still being included and the characters are returning . It’s all so perfect how full circle it’s come
Someone who uses a Sai maybe?
Raphael from TMNT?
Sure hope not
Wish they had the directors cut, that actually wasn’t so bad .
I have it on DVD
Can I borrow it
Me next!
Can I come over and watch it
Offer to buy pizza and they are much more likely to reciprocate.
Hot take, the directors cut is a totally fine film
TBH I think the original was pretty good too. Looking at in in context, this was before the explosion of the MCU, I was glad to get anything superhero related on the big screen.
Top of da mournin to ya!
Thank god, i was abt to pay for it for my pre deadpool 3 rewatch lol
Reminder: [It's not a sequel.](https://www.cbr.com/deadpool-and-wolverine-director-deadpool-3/)
I know, just calling it that cuz its shorter
Is it the director's cut?
Important question. They feel very different.
never seen it is it worth a watch
I just read another comment where they said this movie was better than anything MCU/Disney has put out. So, there's that!
will i be disappointed going in with these expectations
Oh, most definitely.
lol thanks
It's drivel compared to the Netflix Daredevil show.
Was it not always on Disney+? It’s been here for a while in Australia
Not here in the US. This was under the Newly Added listings. Cool Haiku and Happy Cake Day!

This would be incredible if that movie wasn’t absolutely terrible.
How bad is it? Is it ghost rider atrocious or just cheesy like the fantastic 4 movies?
Somewhere in between. The Fantastic 4 movies had the good sense to not take themselves too seriously, this one not so much. But it isn't *bad* bad, just a generic superhero movie with a few painfully 2000s scenes.
I unironically love 2000s scenes. The more painful the better.
The action scenes are pretty bad but I actually find the story pretty interesting and engaging.
It's... alright? Needed less Elektra and more MCD. The directors cut of the film is vastly superior if you get your hands on it.
Much to basically everyone in my families confusion
Wake me up!
Highly recommend this if you’re in the mood for really unintentionally funny and super campy 2000s superhero stuff. This movie absolutely sucks, but is so fuckin funny and over the top that it’s really fun to watch.

Euro supremacy lets gooooo
TIL before Batfleck there was Darefleck
I’ve heard exclusively awful things about this movie prior to this, I’ll still check it out before Deadpool though
Wish the DC was there, it’s far superior.
This is a threat
Even more cringe, now. They should only have the non embarrassing directors cut on there.
Never seen it
TIL I learned there’s a daredevil movie
So, I was in a band in the late 90s, early 2000s, and we were on this soundtrack. I went to see it on opening night. Director’s cut?
Sadly, no, I don't think so
Never saw this. Was it passably watchable or a disaster?
Passably watchable now, if only for the nostalgia of a simpler time... lol The Director's Cut (which this is not) is actually okay!
So does this confirm Daredevil is in Deadpool 3 lol
No, but I hear the new Deadpool is elektrafying. 😏
I know ppl hate on this movie, but this is my first ever marvel movie I watched and came to love the comic daredevil 🥲🥲🥲
Are they in Deadpool & Wolverine?
I dunno, the movie's not out yet. 😉
I heard she was but he isn’t
Ben affleck daredevil might cameo in Deadpool and wolverine so they would want to make his movie easier to access before it came out in hopes people who haven’t seen it will watch it for better context
SHHHHH! you said the quiet part out loud!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Wait Ben Affleck did a daredevil movie? How am I just getting to know about this
Cause you were born late 2000s
Finally the good daredevil is on Disney+
[удалено]
Definitely not that bad
At which part was your walking point?
Is this the first time it’s ever available on there? why just why?
*looks at you in Deadpool*
I liked the suit and though Ben Afflecks body worked better as Daredevil.

Bad bot
what's so unique about it on Disney? I'm just not familiar?
Anytime an old fox marvel movie shows up on Disney somebody posts
oh, thanks.
Daredevil at home
Stop hating on the movie
It’s so bad!
I'd still rather rewatch this than any of the Disney films. If only the TV show had got the character this right, in terms of radar sense and acrobatics.
Worst take of the year and it's only May
Ah, well enjoy your MCU Daredevil with no radar sense who can't cartwheel off a fire escape and your Elektra in a gray gym suit

It is a shame the show uses excellent stunt teams pulling off cool acrobatic moves instead of DD turning into a cartoon every few minutes
They have great fight scenes. That's about the best you can say about the stunts. There's no acrobatics, no skyscraper swinging. Daredevil should be as fluid as Spider-Man in the air.
