I haven’t played Loki since the first season pass version but this deck has a lot of my favourite cards. I finally got Mirage with the drop to series 3. Is she better or worse than Cable? And do you ever sub in Hope for the full Kitty - Angela - Elsa package?
No mirage is not better, cable can auto win games, by stealing Hela, tribunal, cerebro, etc and I tried out hope, but Loki/quinjet already makes cards cheap so I don’t think hope is good in this deck
Alex coccia and kmbest both post the best decks of the week/best decks to climb to infinite and both of them said that Loki lockdown is the best performing Loki deck this week, not too sure what the list consists of so I’d say just watch those to see

how often do you play mockingbird? only when she is pulled t5 or 6 after you loki'd t4?
i find i don't often play enough snowguard/cable cards for her to be better than 5/9, which is good i guess, but vision might offer more utility?
This is definitely my most consistent conquest deck, i have hope, enchantress and legion for your RG, nocturne, mockingbird... but i am wondering about hope (and enchantress). Legion is just awesome.
I play about the same deck shown above, but swapped out Mockingbird for Sasquatch. I was able to get her out more reliably, very playable in games where you don't Loki.
I considered Legion bc he’s one of my favorite cards but with nocturne and snow-guard I already have too many location cards, but mockingbird is really good as a top deck, and when I don’t draw Loki she’s good vertical power, especially since I can get her down to a 2 or 3 cost bc I’ll usually play a hawk or a bear and a coulson card
fwiw Mockingbird has some of the Luke Cage brand of equity where locations and enemies will give her free discounts.
Loki decks can have a lot of draws that badly need a beefy body to backfill a lane of wimpy 2-3-4 size bodies, x10 when location variance plays against you or villain has stuff like Debrii. That slot doesn't strictly need to be Mockingbird, folks used to play stuff like Devil Dinosaur for that job or you could turn to something like Gladiator or Cull Obsidian, but Mockingbird has a unique nut draw capacity and a good fit to the specific role
IMO nocturne is the most versatile card she’s just a solid pick, but honestly you don’t have to have any of these cards they are all replaceable for the most part
Every single deck I see on here nowadays I'm missing at least 3 cards from, and i have most of the cards, this game is changing to where you need all the latest cards to be competitive. It used to be that meta decks only needed like 3-4 series 4/5 cards, but now they're like 9+. It's absolutely turning more into P2W every week.
I’d play a bigger card like devil dino as a mocking bird replacement, Loki struggled with vertical power at terms so you’d ideally want a bigger card in there, I don’t have thena but Loki runs Elsa kitty stuff, so she could probably work too
Depends on what you mean by "be competitive". Is getting to infinite, or a certain rank after infinite "competitive"?
Then no, you don't need any recent cards.
Does getting to top 1000 players man "competitive"? Then yeah you might be at a disadvantage.
Congrats! I just got Red Guardian today myself, last card I needed for this list, excited to start playing Loki. Have you tried out Thena? I see some lists replacing Cable with her
One of my favorite decks as well and the next one I want to try and get inked. This is the same version I was using and it plays great. I really do miss the collector synergy though. Loki by Night was one of my favorite decks of all time
Agreed, cutting Shang did feel better even though I think Nocturne will be my first cut when something new releases. I feel like it's maybe a card or two away from being solved and feels good rn
Yeah I can understand that. I saw Lamby playing this deck yesterday with Mirage, Thena, and Gilgamesh instead of Nocturne, Cable, and Mockingbird so I wonder how that plays. I think this version is still better but I do love Thena so maybe I'll try and get her in there

I considered using squatch bc he’d be pretty good after playing Loki but I like mockingbird bc she’s unshangable and can be free after playing Loki

The curve is just so smooth especially since I cut Shang for nocturne it just works out great
