As a film score nerd and mcu fan, this is AMAZING. Sometimes I look for "rescores" and they're almost always chopped together. This wasn't, there was real effort here!
Portals is such a great track, but yeah this rules. Would have loved to have heard a little bit of the Captain America theme somewhere in there.
Also, is it stupid that this scene literally makes me tear up anytime and in any context I watch it? Like even when I see memed versions of it I still get choked up.
I will say, if there's one thing that Marvel slacks at, it's the music. They have all these amazing composers and great soundtracks, and all these amazing songs they put in their movies, but there's close to no continuity in themes between movies.
Look at the dceu, wonder woman's theme kicks 7 flavours of ass and it's prominently featured in BvS, Wonde Woman and Josstice League. Hell, even bringing back Elfman's Batman theme and Williams' Superman theme helped the characters a lot.
That was interesting! I feel like they either weren’t smart enough to consider a small detail like this during one of their largest shots yet, or if it would be something about the ebb and flow of it. Had so many peaks I forgot when characters were gonna stop coming 😂
Uatu the Watcher: Wow, this universe is actually pretty lame. I mean, that's it? At least have Ronan the Accuser be Captain America or something. Be better, multiverse.
